I mean is this a bar, do they sell local goods, is it just a local social club, and do they even sell plants? It was such a strange experience but most of the older group that was hanging out seemed to be fine with it. Maybe it's just my social class doesn't line up with this level of society but it was just weird. There was no sense of how to move through the space. There were random chairs everywhere and I wasn't sure what was really going on as there was a jam band playing, food on a table right next to cooler of beer sitting open in the middle of what I assumed was their retail space. Very difficult to navigate and the lady could have cared less when we bought one carton of eggs. I felt like we had accidentally walked into someone's retirement party at a venue. Anyway we won't be back frankly because I have no reason too. I think it's more a hangout spot for the upper class of the area. I gave it two stars because it does look nice but if it's just a local bar then stop with the garden/goods half a shelf space and just be that.

This evening we noticed a food truck, so we stopped to pick up dinner, to go. We had not planned on staying, but tonight's food truck was so popular that we stayed longer than we expected to. Well, well, surprise, surprise, Belvedere Station serves wine and beer! Quite welcomed on a beautiful holiday weekend evening while waiting for takeout. So while waiting we walked inside where the gas station waiting room was comfortably air conditioned and stocked with the beer and wine and cute home decor/gifts. The gas station service bays had even more adorable unusual decor/gifts and also more casual seating for gathering with friends. But wait! Even more areas out back to congregate with your group of friends. Get aways, I say. I believe I noticed a group that might be regulars. So, if you have a group of friends and you like to get together, intimately, where it is not too loud, I recommend Belvedere Station. They did have cool recorded music in the background, but I thought live background music would be appreciated. I spoke with the very friendly, helpful hostess and she informed me that occasionally a person performs live guitar background music. This place is way too cool to just drive by!

It turns into a huge hassle…read more Yesterday I placed a delivery order for 10 bales of fine needles six bags of concrete and one other item it was scheduled to be delivered this morning. what does Lowe's do? They send me an email telling me that my items are ready for pick up at the store even though I paid $39 for delivery when I called the store the person I spoke with indicated that they could not deliver it and that the delivery fee would be higher. I told them I will take my business elsewhere and I will. I will make every effort to shop at small hardware stores and avoid this quagmire of the store.

However, I feel honor bound by God, Jesus, and all his saints to tell you my experience attempting to purchase a dishwasher at the Lowe's in Shelby, NC. I can no longer sleep soundly at night, knowing that people continue to give this business their hard earned money. We moved to a new (to us) home and ordered a new dishwasher online, the night of May 21st. The house's original dishwasher was presumably made with pre-Cold War technology. It sounded like we had a freight train revving up, every time we presumed to press "Start". Anywho, Lowe's advised we would have delivery on June 6. After my delivery window came and went, I ended up hearing from the installer. Now, the installer is a seperate company than Lowe's. Lowe's subcontracts out the installation of most of it's major appliances, and this was no different. Anywho, the installer advised that there must be a mixup, they don't have my particular dishwasher in the truck. They'll reach out the next business day(it was Friday) once they hear back from Lowe's appliance manager. That Monday, I spoke with the installer and he said I needed to speak with Lowe's Installation Team. Now, LIT is a separate entity from your local Lowe's. It's a corporate office that manages your installation and delivery. It is not a local person. I leave a voicemail with LIT. The next day I get a call back. LIT advises they discovered that the local installer installed my dishwasher at someone else's home. No worries, they say, they're going to send the installer back to that house, pull out the machine, and I can have it installed today. I refuse, advising that it is no longer a new machine. I've paid for a new machine. I ask if we can go ahead and cancel the order. LIT advises that I need to speak with my local Lowe's to get the item refunded. So, I call Lowe's in Shelby, where the first employee tells me that their system shows my dishwasher as delivered and installed, and if I want to dispute that, I need to file a chargeback. I refuse, since if their documentation shows it as delivered, I'll lose the chargeback dispute. I ask to speak with a manager. The manager is probably the worst person in customer service I've ever interacted with. I've had nicer interactions at the DMV. I've felt more at ease during a Pap Smear. This gentleman berates me and says he has no idea what's going on, that it's his store and he needs to look into it. He hangs up. And it's been a full month and I can't get anyone to pick up the phone. I'm out $800 and I'm still using Soviet technology to get my dishes clean. Don't use Lowe's, specifically the one in Shelby. I'd rather wash my dishes with barbed wire and orange juice than give them one more dollar of my money. At this point, it's actual theft.

They were too busy to talk to me. I thought I was getting somewhere when he said here's a text number. Text me a picture so I did and then he quit responding after that. he said I'll have to call you back tomorrow. Well tomorrow came and I never heard anything so I sent another text on Thursday and no reply. Nothing I also left a message at both locations just in case somebody at the other location might be able to help me and I've heard absolutely nothing so I'm done with it.

What do you expect him to do? Come to your house and rebuild your recliner right when you call? Of course he's going to tell you he can't fix it, they just sell it. They have separate people who come out and handle repairs which I'm sure they told you when you purchased them as they did with me. I had to have warranty repair done to my power reclining love seat. I called the owner to inform him of needed repairs and he gave me the contact info to the people who do the repairs. I called them and set up an appointment and they came in a couple days. They repaired my love seat and all was good. Maybe a little patience and communication would have gotten you further? So yeah, scripted, no. Read my other reviews for other places. I'm dead honest on what I think about a place and Cummings has always been a fantastic place to purchase furniture from.
