Took in three rolls of 8mm film with audio to be converted to DVD. Was told it would be 6 weeks to…read morecomplete. Thought that was a little ridiculous, but I didn't need it back immediately, so I left it there. After 6 weeks and not hearing a thing from them, I call to find out if they're done. They say they haven't started and it takes a while to do and will call when it's done. After 12 weeks, I angrily call to see if they're done, and if not, I'm coming to pick up my rolls of film. They say it's been done for weeks, but no one called to tell me. I show up to pick the film and DVD up. The guy shows me the end product. The first major problem - this isn't done professionally. He has an 8mm projector in the back, projected it onto a screen and recorded it playing with a digital camera. The few shots he showed me in the office, I could see the digital camera being readjusted and zooming in and out. Not thrilled with that. The second thing I'm not happy with is the playback was about 60-70% (15 or 16 frames/sec) of the normal playback speed (18 frames/sec), so the action in the film looked lagging and the voices were clearly much lower and slower than they should have been. It's all on one DVD - total film time is about 1 hr. Not happy with the quality of work, but at this point, I just want to get my film back. He rings up the price...$209!?! WTF? I could have bought my own projector and done this shoddy work in a fraction of the time it took them for that price! I tell him I'm not paying that and will just take my film and go. He said he needs to get compensated for the work he's already done and says the best he can do is $120. I'm pissed, but want to get my stuff and get the hell out of there ASAP. I reluctantly pay and leave. I will never, NEVER go back. Stay away!

I scheduled with Cindy and she told me that if receive a confirmation text which I did receive. I totally rescheduled my whole day around having the cleaning ladies come so that I could be home during the service. Since we just built our house and I have boxes still around I woke up super early to rearrange the boxes so that they would be out of the way of the cleaning crew. I was in total disbelief when they DIDNT SHOW UP AT ALL! No Call! I sent a text message to Cindy's personal cellphone and her business phone because I thought maybe they couldn't find my house and got absolutely no response. I even gave them the benefit of doubt and thought maybe they had an emergency and waited till 3 days later and tried calling Cindy and no answer! Terrible business and customer service to not call a Client if something comes up and you're not able to make it. They totally waisted my time and I'm glad I didn't give my credit card information. I called a different cleaning service today and got on the schedule. Will never do business with this company ever and won't recommend unless you have time on your hand that you want waisted.

James and Abi shot our wedding, and they were awesome! They made my husband and I feel relaxed and calm during the formal portraits, which is saying something when one knows how little we like to have our pictures taken. The rest of the time, they blended in with the wedding seamlessly, and came back with all the great shots that we wanted, but we barely knew were taken. They also had some still life shots of our cake, flowers and other wedding and reception "stuff" that were creative, unique and beautiful. They definitely caught the fun and happy spirit of the day. After a friend recommended James Sanny to us for our maternity pics we hired he and Abi. We had to reschedule the first date set and they were very accomodating in rescheduling. We decided to shoot outside and it was pretty cold, but they worked with what we had and got some great shots! I love that they gave us the rights to ALL the photos and they were amazing. Since then we have had our baby and they took newborn and 3 month photos! They have VERY resonable fees especially considering what you get and the time they put into their work. We will continue to hire them for ALL of our family photo's. read more

We hired James for a maternity shoot. It was an incredibly windy day and our last chance to Have the shoot before our daughter was born. They also have a terrific studio if you are getting photos taken in the dead of winter. As far as the production, the photographers at Lola Jo did not disappoint. I'm incredibly difficult to photograph. I feel uncomfortable in front of a camera, and I'm a notorious blinker, but Lois (my head photographer) was an excellent director and did well to ease my discomfort. The photos they delivered were stunning. However, because the Lola Jo photographers are so good, they are much in demand and don't really have time to coddle stressed out brides. I had a hard time getting in touch when I needed to confirm details, and the delivery of the engagement photos was over a month later than promised. To me, the end product was probably worth the added stress, but it's worth knowing the price ahead of time.
