I found those, as well as a bounty of excellent looking produce and one of the largest collections of local goods and groceries I've seen. A clerk pointed me to their local chocolates and candies section, and I was able to get some bourbon balls and modjeskas -- dark chocolate modjeskas, in fact, a first for me. And during my short trip, I noticed several local brands represented, as well as great options for pre-made meals. I feel like Paul's would also be fun to shop at for a party. You could find lots of dips and other party foods to show off. A few years ago I also ordered some fruit baskets here for my kid's teachers. They were a hit, and it was nice to know that our class' money was going to a local business. I will definitely be back here!

There is limited seating - several tables with un-cushioned chairs and one comfy couch that was unfortunately occupied by a man reading a book during our visit. Despite sore bottoms we enjoyed our visit, which included lattes and a substantial almond croissant. My almond milk latte was delicious and my friend said the almond croissant is one of her favorites. Pricing is as expected for an establishment of this type in the Highlands - not a deal, but not ridiculous. They also have a punch card that allows repeat customers to get a free drink on their 10th visit.

It's a great place to hangout for a bit, let the kids explore, eats farm fresh, literally, breakfast, get some great goodies for the week, and RELAX (it's the weekend). This Farmers Market is large enough to give you everything you need or want, and small enough to walk around and still keep an eye on your kids or quickly find a friend to compare your treasures. I love the breakfast omelet, the music is always good and sometimes really, really good. And the people are always friendly and fun. This market had about a 10 vendors, and while this wasn't overflowing with vendors, they had a lot of the farmers market bases covered. We saw meat, veggie, flower, candle, snacks and drink vendors. Foxhollow Farm, Field Day Family Farm and Berserker Coffee were among the vendors. All of the vendors were very nice and eager to talk about their products. A couple even gave my son free flowers, which he was so excited to carry around until he pulled all of the petals out. :-P We ended up coming home with a couple bouquets, pulled pork, burnt ends, peaches, lettuce and microgreens. We will be back in the coming weeks and are excited to see this market grow.

I don't know why it's never crossed our minds to stop by more than once a year, but maybe that'll change? They have a wonderful selection of tress and each year we find one that we think is the perfect size however when we get it home it's almost too big (Christmas tree shopping probz). Their prices are about average and they have a selection of trees for $20 or less -- they tend to have floppy flimsy limbs that don't hold ornaments as well, but they work in a pinch. Immediately upon arrival you are greeted by the guys who work there and they let it be known that they are more than happy to help you find anything you need. We didn't need much help as we only looked for ten minutes or less and we found the tree that we wanted. It only cost us around $30. We showed the employee and he told us to go inside to pay and by the time we got out it was already by the car. While we were inside I had to browse the candy that they have there as well. Who can say no to some sweets during the holidays? I ended up walking out with some snow-caps, peanut brittle, chocolate covered almonds and chocolate turtles for less than $9. Not a bad deal at all. When we got back out they were ready with the tree and they even tied it to the roof for us and it didn't budge the whole way! They also have wonderful wreaths. It's hard to pass them up each year, however we already have a decoration for the front door, so while hard, we end up passing them by each year. Great customer service, great old-fashioned candy and a great selection of trees to bring home for the holiday season. Visit if for no other reason than to get some treats, friendly service and leave with a smile.
