I don't know where to start to describe Jamie and his photos. I am a Norwegian girl with a love for all things American, so offcourse my wedding dress had to come from Kleinfeld. I meet Jamie when my mother and I were in New York to pick out my dress. Jamie was at Kleinfeld taking pictures for their website. We started talking and I told him about my wedding plans (we got married at a castle in Sweden) and Jamie took some pictures of me trying on what ended up as my wedding dress! At the end of my appointment, we exchanged information. However, I had not gotten far enough in my wedding planning to make a decision regarding photographer. I also thought flying Jamie in from New York would be to expensive, so I shelved the idea. Back home in Norway I started looking into other photographers and had actually settled on a Norwegian photographer that took OK pictures... It's also important to the story to inform you that during my 30 years only about 10 pictures of me has gotten my approval. For some reason I do not photograph well... I always end up making weird faces or tense up when there is a camera involved... But then Jamie contacted me and he sent over some of the pictures he had taken at Kleinfeld. That did it for me. It was no longer a question of price or distance or anything else... He had to take our wedding photographs!! Because we had the castle for the whole weekend, Jamie ended up flying in to Sweden on Friday and beeing part of the rehersal dinner. He was also present the whole Saturday, catching the moments as my bridesmaids and I got ready, as my husband got help from his best man putting on his cufflinks and other sweet memories of a day that we only will remember because of the pictures, since it you end up feeling it's over before it begins! Thank you for that Jamie! :-) He also took great formal pictures and from a person with a previous total of 10 approved pictures, I now have so many great ones I don't even know which ones to pick for thank you-cards etc, because every picture is amazing! Even with jet lag and the language barrier Jamie was a real trooper and even attended the nachspiel where he took some great candids. I would recommend Jamie to anybody. He is the greatest photographer I know! And I also feel that I've gained a great friend along with all the beautiful pictures. read more

We can't thank Jamie and Subrina enough for their amazing work with our wedding! Not just our wedding day, but everything leading up to it. When I met Jamie at Kleinfeld he made me feel so relaxed and comfortable, I knew he was the right person for the job. Then I had the pleasure of meeting Subrina, and they really make such an amazing pair. She was so wonderful keeping in touch and walking me through the whole process. From the engagement shoot, to the final fitting, to the day of our wedding, they really made it so fun and memorable. When we had to postpone our wedding due to the pandemic, they went above and beyond to accommodate us. When our sunny engagement shoot turned into an unexpected downpour, they were nice enough to offer us options to reschedule or to just go with it and have fun. We decided to run with the idea and had such an amazing time! Subrina gave us wonderful direction and Jamie gave us photos that came out even better than we could have planned for. The final fitting looked different than what I expected when I scheduled it back in January. Only 2 people, everyone wearing face masks, and hand sanitizer all around. Subrina made it such a fun experience regardless. She gave me such wonderful photos and really helped me get excited for the big day. The day of our wedding was a blur of excitement. Jamie and Subrina caught every amazing moment. During our first looks and ceremony, I couldn't take my eyes off my husband. Their photos allow me to enjoy every moment I might have missed - from the smiles on the faces of our family and friends to our beautiful surroundings. Hiring Jamie Levine Photography for our wedding was hands down the BEST decision!! I found Jamie & Subrina through Dianne from Kleinfelds (although did not end up purchasing my dress there)! After my visit Jamie actually reached out to me as he heard through Dianne and from then on I knew this was just the Photographer we were looking for!!! Jamie & Subrina were SO nice from the beginning and super accommodating. I even lived in Europe the first 6 months and he was always accommodating by getting back to me very quickly, arranging phone/skype calls, communicating over text,email etc. They also always seemed excited about working with us and it was really nice because I never once felt like we were "just another client", even considering the amount of high profile people Jamie works with. He literally travels the world to shoot people's weddings. And after seeing our engagement & wedding photos it is OBVIOUS why. He is absolutely incredible!!! Both Jamie & Subrina got to know my husband and I well and were so patient through the entire process which was impressive considering I am known to be VERY particular when it comes to photos....and how I look in photos. There was the perfect mix of posed photos & candids. I particularly requested a LOT of "posed" photos and sent examples and for these Subrina always fixed my dress/hair to ensure everything was perfect. After meeting with a few photographers, I chose Jamie Levine photography after choosing my dress at Kleinfeld and hearing all about his amazing work. I can see now why they are one of the best wedding photographers on The Knot! Jamie and Subrina were so incredibly easy to work with and provided us with a variety of photos to chose from. I am a bit camera shy, so their calming nature and positive vibes made it much easier. We did engagement photos in Central Park and my wedding was in Montauk, and I truly loved all the photos and actually had a blast during the engagement photos. I also loved how they were not invasive like other wedding photographers, as they never took me away from guests to do photos. You don't really see them during your wedding reception, but once you get the photos you realize they captured all the funny dance moves, romantic kisses, and magical moments. When I first got my wedding proofs, I was at the gym and just broke down in tears I was so moved! It was amazing to re-live that day through the photos. Jamie Levine Photography came highly recommended by my consultant at Vera Wang. I was told that he didn't advertise his work and was rather selective with the weddings he chose to shoot so I thought maybe he was a bit snobby. Not at all!! He was so sweet and attentive to all my questions when we spoke and actually helped me sort out a lot of non-photographic issues I was having prior to the wedding. I had a destination wedding on the beach in St. Barths. Jamie was so wonderful to work with. He was able to get all the images I wanted plus so many more and not once felt intrusive to me and Steve (my husband) or anyone else at the wedding. He and his assistant really felt like guests which made everyone feel so comfortable being photographed. Jamie had photographed one of my best friend's wedding two years ago in Boston. I was a bridesmaid so I was around all the pre-ceremony craziness.
