My girlfriends and I got together to smoke cigars and get food. I made reservations and when I arrived I parked in their private lot. We walked in and was greeted and decided to sit in the bar area. Louie was our server and bartender and he was great. I ordered the Tatiana cigar with a glass of wine and the cigar was very good. My friends ordered the chicken parm and the burger. I tried the chicken parm and it was very good. The ambiance and the experience was good and I would definitely return.

Great place for a good cigar and great food. Service was phenomenal and all the food was amazing. They have a bar area where you can order drinks and smoke a cigar or a sit down dinner area. Obviously if cigar smoke bothers you then this is NOT the place for you. To sit down at the table you have to order an entree. We were a group of 13 celebrating a bday. We order appetizers, entrees, drinks and a few coffees & dessert. Reasonable prices. I will definitely be going back here

As a cigar aficionado, I love that you have have a great smoke here as well as a great meal! Friendly neighborhood bartender who knows his stuff... you can get anything from a classic manhattan to their specialty cocktails. The food has almost never disappointed, tons of traditional classics as well as their every day specials. Pictured here is a shrimp cocktail, calamari and clams casino yummm

A very cool restaurant where you can smoke cigars at your restaurant table. I haven't been able to smoke in a restaurant in 20 years due to the fact that you cannot do that any more in New Jersey. My guest and I both brought our own cigars and we were ready to smoke, talk and eat. They also sell cigars that are more expensive than a cigar store. So I suggest you just bring your own cigar. I ordered a cognac on the rocks and it tasted delicious. Lit up my cigar and was ready to order a steak. I first started with a cream of mushroom soup and it was fantastic, among the best I've ever had. I ordered the ribeye steak medium rare. When it came out it was perfectly cooked and about 5 minutes after I started eating the steak my waitress came to make sure it was cooked to my liking. I told her absolutely It tastes great and she said sure and left us alone. She was good at giving my cousin and I the space to talk and drink and eat. I feel that the steak was a little overpriced at $85 but I'm not complaining because I understand that everything is more expensive and it was delicious and very big. All in all it was a great experience. The waitress was very nice and I would definitely return to this restaurant. It's pretty manly and you must love smoke so I wouldn't return with my wife. But any of my friends that enjoy a cigar would love it here.

Great selection of wine and spirits. Limited cigar selection, but the selection they have is very good. The burger was very good, although you pay a premium for the food. Great service friendly staff. Customers were all fiendly as well.

Besides the best bartender named Louie who treats you like family each and every time with a smile and a great drink, this place has some great food to go along with a great place. Fresh, hot, delicious, creative and great presentation. Great compliment to a good stiff drink and a cigar anytime.

There is outdoor and indoor dining but since it was blazing hot out I opted to stay inside in the cool AC. Came for brunch on a Sunday so had to try their sangria. I had a little of each, but my favorite was the short rib hash. Great flavor and the sauce was fantastic. The steak had a perfect cook on it, and the fried chicken was crispy and flavorful as well. The server was friendly and extremely attentive. He recommended a good dessert which we ended up splitting. When in doubt go with the chocolate brownie Esther vanilla ice cream !

We didn't have a reservation, but they were still able to seat us in the dining room as long as we could wrap up before 1:30, which we appreciated. I wasn't super hungry so we shared the crispy cauliflower and lamb ribs from the appetizer menu. The crispy cauliflower was excellent -- hot, actually crispy, and not drowning in sauce which I really appreciated. The lamb ribs came over labneh (a yogurt base) and the first plate arrived with the lamb cold. I asked our waitress if that was intentional and she said only the labneh should be cold. They immediately replaced it with a fresh order and handled it really well, which I appreciated. Great service recovery and overall a really enjoyable brunch spot with a lively atmosphere.

They do have coffee so that's a plus. And the coffee is made with a French press. Very tasty. They have a good menu. Something for everyone. We started off with the guacamole app and clam chowder. The guacamole is plentiful and tasty. Also the salsa was delish too. My table patrons didn't like the clam chowder. They said it was too salty. For the mains we ordered the roasted chicken, hot chicken sandwich and the Cajun seafood alfredo The Hot chicken was divine and huge. You won't be disappointed with that one. Good amount of spice. The roasted chicken was lemon rosemary jus was delicious as well. I ordered the pasta which was supposed to come with jumbo shrimp and andouille sausage. As soon as I received my dish I asked the waitress where the sausage was, she couldn't answer but went to get her manager. The manager said normally it's under the pasta. Still, no sausage in the pasta. They apologized and made the sausage and added it to the pasta. I wish that was the only issue. The menu states that it's a cajun Alfredo sauce and hate to say but this was just bland. Not flavorful at all. 2 waiters recommended it but I'm not sure why. I'd give it a 2.5 out of 5. The portion size was good but again no real taste. Overall this was a nice place. I just need to study the menu and read more reviews about what to order here.

Larry was very accommodating, and helped compose a vegan dish from the setup of another dish. He was considerate to recommend something that would feel "substantial" - something that I really appreciated. It's already a bit inconvenient to come up with a dish on the spot, but to go the extra mile by caring that it would be satisfying as a main dish was really very kind. And it turned out fantastic. This restaurant has so much going for it in the quality of its ingredients and dish compositions. I would encourage the chef to consider how the can apply their creativity to a dedicated vegan dish as well. There's a big world to explore in creating modern, high end, plant-based dishes and I think this restaurant would hit it out of the park ! :)

The bar is always lively, filled with friendly patrons and enough tv's to watch sporting events. Good beer selection as well. My last visit here was a tad underwhelming, as I found the service lacking. Upon being seated, our server took our drink orders and then proceeded to come back every three minutes or so to ask if we were ready to put our food order in. Despite us responding that we wanted to relax and have a drink before ordering our food, she was relentless in coming back to us. It got to the point where I thought she was going to pull up a chair and simply wait for us to give her our food order. She finally wore us down and we ordered a pizza, not because we were ready to order but simply to give us a chance to relax and enjoy our drinks. We ordered a pizza with Meatball and Extra Sauce. The Extra Sauce request was somehow misinterpreted as a cup of Marinara Sauce placed in the middle of the Pizza Pie. I kid you not - see attached photo. What most frustrated us however was that after coming to our table three times in five minutes to gather our food order, she apparently entered the Witness Protection Program once our Food Order was in. I had to track her down at one point after waiting about 10 or 15 minutes to order a second round of drinks. We also had the misfortune of sitting next to a rather loud foursome who spoke at a volume befitting a Prize Fight Announcer. Now, I understand an Establishment certainly can't ask a customer to lower their voice. But there were very few patrons in the dining room that night and we were seated amongst a cluster of tables while the vast remainder of the dining area remained open. I get that you don't want to seat people at opposite sides of the restaurant, but come on, you could have spaced us out a little better than that. Like other reviewers on here, I would agree the service is generally hit or mis. There have been occasions where our servers were attentive, courteous and accommodating. I can only attribute the inconsistency in service to a lack of training and supervision. Nevertheless, Maggie's remains one of my "go-to's" and I would recommend it to those who have yet to try.

Like the brewpub, Silk City Distillery had been on my wish list, and it was not until I arrived at Ghost Hawk that I noticed that they were adjacent to each other, allowing me to check both off at once. The tasting room was adorned with barrels that were holding their vast selection of spirits, such as bourbon, whisky, rum, gin, vodka, and more. They also offered a handful of regular and high-top tables, which we were easy to obtain on that afternoon (given the outdoor options as well), but typically reservations were recommended. Though the seating was comfortable, the temperature was not. In fact, it was freezing in there, and we, along with a lot of other parties, switched tables multiple times to find the best fit. We approached the counter to order from their lengthy cocktail list, which included standard and more custom cocktails. I decided on their rendition of a Lime Rickey, asking for it to be made with their gin. The tart, sour, and sweet drink was light and refreshing. I enjoyed each sip so much that I wound up getting a second round. While many distilleries offer a few types of alcohol and a handful of cocktails, the Silk City Distillery went above and beyond with their vast array of options. Any connoisseur should enjoy the place!
