They have indoor and outdoor seating. The place always has a cool indoor and outdoor vibe! The patio seating has colorful umbrellas on the ceiling. Please check out my video. It was such a beautiful day we had wanted to eat outside. Outside seating was packed. However, the manager brought a table out to the patio for us. Talk about excellent customer service! We had a delicious meal: Banana French Toast and a Pernil Benedict along with a Coconut Mojito and Cosmo. During our visit, the server kept coming around filling everyone's glasses with water. Besides HH & Dinner, Sonoma Bistro & Grill is great for brunch!

It was tasty, with a good amount of toppings. Nothing fantastic, but it certainly did the trick. Also, it was a great price at $14. My husband ordered the Steak Giombatta. This dish was massive. Plenty of steak and sausage cooked with peppers and onions, all surrounded by mounds of thin fried potatoes. This is a delicious and impressive dish. We really enjoyed our meal here. The (ever rotating) beers on tap are stellar. The selection of bottles (of the harder stuff) on the picturesque back bar are eye-catching (even if I never heard of half of them). They offer your regular bar food like wings, mozzarella sticks, and burgers, but also salads made with actual mixed greens and not just iceberg lettuce. Their fries were good, as well as the quesadilla, chicken fingers and steak salad (although crazy spicy so beware). The bartenders were so friendly, it must be a good place to work. It was pretty dead for a Thursday night, but I was not complaining as it meant. We got served faster! I loved all the Christmas decorations they had up and that they had space for a band. Unfortunately, we were not able to stay for the bands performance tonight. My dad ordered a chicken Parm dinner which he said he really enjoyed. I ordered a chipotle burger, but I'm not sure that's what I received. The burger I got had onions and what I think was American cheese. There was no chipotle taste to it. It was delicious nonetheless though so I would be interested to see you with the chipotle burger itself tasted like. I was also disappointed that they did not have the death seat burger. Apparently they only serve it once a month on Wednesdays and you have to look on Instagram for one that is. I shall go back for that one day.

Our waitress was kind, but there was a noticeable language barrier that made it difficult to ask questions or receive drink and food recommendations. My impression was that maybe she was new? The manager watched her talk with us, but didn't step in when we couldn't all communicate effectively. This was the first and last time we ever saw our waitress. The bartender took over the dining room from there. One point of confusion was the absence of chips and salsa at our table. At most Mexican restaurants, this is typically a complimentary starter. We weren't served any, but later observed other tables receiving them. It appeared that chips and salsa may need to be ordered separately, but there was no clear indication of this on the menu or from the staff. On a positive note, the food arrived quickly and was served hot. The enchiladas were well-presented and came with a generous selection of sides including pico de gallo, guacamole, and sour cream (all included, no extra charge). The green sauce was flavorful with a good level of spice--definitely a highlight. The margarita, however, was underwhelming. It was served in a large cup, which was promising at first glance, but it tasted heavily diluted and juice-forward--more style than substance. We ordered churros for dessert, which turned into a frustrating experience. After waiting an hour (we could NOT get the manager or the bartenders attention sooner because they were hectically running around) we finally were able to request an update from the manager. The manager then brought out the dessert with an apology. We were told they'd be on the house from the manager themselves, due to the delay, but the final bill still included the charge hand-delivered by the manager. Clear lack of attention to detail. Throughout our visit, the restaurant only had five tables occupied, yet the overall atmosphere felt chaotic and poorly managed. If service becomes this scattered during a slow night, it's difficult to imagine how they might handle a larger group or busy service. On a more positive note, the decor was beautiful and thoughtfully curated, giving the space a warm and inviting ambiance. One final note: the restaurant appears to operate under two different names, which caused confusion when searching for directions. It's unclear why this is the case, and it made it difficult to confirm if we were arriving at the correct location. In summary, while there were some highlights in terms of food and ambiance, the service and organization left much to be desired. I'm open to giving the restaurant another try, but only under the right circumstances.

The good part - they were in fact wicked fresh. The major issue - they were ridiculously gritty. The shells were full of sand ON THE OUTSIDE. So you couldn't slurp them up like you're supposed to. So what's the big deal, use a fork. But you couldn't do THAT because whoever shucks doesn't know you're supposed to cut the muscle and free the clam to float in the shell. So yeah. We had to take a knife or fork and try to pull it out of the shell. Then suffer through the grit. I hate to say it but you can't be known for seafood if you can't shuck a raw clam right. This is seafood 101.

Following tonight's Knicks record setting, series clinching blowout vs. the upstart Atlanta Hawks, MRH became my #1 "go to" destination to drink & stuff my face, while binge-ing on the evening's "must watch" College & Pro sports events.
