She confirms the citrine stone and diamonds on my ring is genuine and the setting was very nice. She didn't charge me for the verbal appraisal and recommended for me to skip the appraisal paperwork since my ring In particular is just not worth as much ($300-500 max). Sooo Rare to find a honest business jewelry business. This business has Multiple locations too. I called back recently to inquire about a ring resizing, and a gentleman told me they had another locations much closer to me in West New York, N called J "Continental Carbo Jewelers". I highly recommend this business to my friends and family. They are always happy to help!

Avoid Edgar Jewelry if you don't want to get taken advantage of. I brought in a very old 18k…read moreMariner's bracelet to get clasp fixed and sized, he replaced it with a 14k lobster clasp. I realized when I left that I didn't have the extra links and returned, he gave them to me upon request, but he should've known to return them in the first place. I realized afterwords that the original 18k clasp wasn't returned, he had kept it! Today, I brought in my sister's chain that broke, he fixed it and the solder was so bad, I asked him to do it again, when he brought it back, the solder was noticeably much thinner than the rest of the links, so thin that I wouldn't wear it like that because you risk losing it all together. He told me there is nothing else he can do and to please leave and not return to his shop again. This business is used to dealing with cheap jewelry and people who don't know any better. They can care less of the finished product or sending a customer home knowing the piece is going to break again. Avoid this business at all cost, and if you must use them take pictures of the jewelry you're leaving for referencing purposes and to ensure you're not forgetting anything. If you read other reviews, you'll get a better sense of this place. Any good reviews are posted by their own staff. Basically predators. Shameful.

I almost cried (of joy) when I got my ring back…read more So let me start from the beginning. I reached out to various jewelers about wanting my old engagement ring (over 10 years old now) soldered. They were from the start honest and straight to the point. I finally was able to pop in and have them look at my ring to see if possible. They told me yes, left it with them, and to come back the following day. When I got my ring, which again I have had since my now husband proposed back in 2013, it looked fresh and new (the same way it did back then). The soldering looks amazing and the ring feels great. I've come here a few times, mostly to get my watches worked on and to sell one. Again each time Marco was pleasant. He calls back when your things items are ready and gives reasonable time for when your things will be ready. Jewelry places seem to so often be either in malls or real fancy areas, likely along with price to match the residents, but this place is nice and local which is welcome. If you need watch work done, stop in.
