If you're looking for fancy gourmet pizza, look again, but Jammin J's does have some really unique flavors and decent pizza. I ordered the cheesy bread which was so freaking yumm. Smother in cheese and a pretty good size. I also ordered the Philly Steak Cheese pizza. I was a bit disappointed in this one- I can't say I've ever had a philly steak without peppers but there were not peppers and the toppings were really sparse. There was barely any meat or mushrooms on it but waaaaaaay too many onions. I also got a peanut butter and chocolate desert pizza which was pretty good for the price. Was there tonight and ask for a pizza to be made. The lady told me she didn't know what was going on in the kitchen. Then the owner ask if we would like a pizza and we said yes. It never came out. Pretty sure we want be back this was the 3rd time there and have been disappointed every time. It's bad that I had to go and get something to eat on my way home because I really didn't get to eat. Buffet has wonderful salad bar, huge variety of pizzas, and yummy desserts. If they don't have your favorite pizza on the bar, they'll make it!! Just an all-around great little pizza buffet place! We ate lunch here yesterday. It was AWESOME! The only place in Shelby area where you can get a vegan cheese pizza!!! And they do not skimp on the toppings either. You can request pizzas to your liking as well. It was very clean inside, too. Manager came by to ask if we needed anything, which I thought was a nice personal touch. Disclaimer: this is a pizza buffet - my rating is on the overall experience, not so much the pizza itself. Stop reading if you don't have kids. Great place to bring your family (aka "the kids")! The restaurant itself is bright and clean. The pizza is decent but it's not your wood fired with gourmet toppings - this is more Chucky Cheese"esque". The pizza is hot and fresh and they make about 100 diffrent combos. If there's a specific pizza you want, just ask and they'll make one for the buffet. There is a game room off to the right which again was clean. The coolest part is that there is a video camera in the game room with a large flat screen tv in the restaurant receiving the signal; you can watch your kids play while you eat and talk with grownups (hooray!). The games dispense tickets and your kids can trade for prizes. The owner comes around to the tables and makes sure everyone is enjoying themselves - always nice to have a personal touch. The only negative thing I noted was the men's toilet was dirty. Otherwise pretty decent place to take your kids. read more

Great little pizza joint in Shelby, behind golden corral. I found it by accident and I think if they were in a better exposed location they'd make a killing. It's like a CiCi's but better ! A perfect low key lunch spot. We chose the buffet with a drink. There was a variety of pizzas, salad fixings and simple pasta dishes. Hot pizzas of various toppings came out on a regular basis. The dessert pizzas were a big hit, especially the reece's cup flavour. Unlimited refills were available for fountain drinks and ice tea.
