The owners were great and helped me find a pair of size 13 Saucony that fit incredibly well. Back on the ship my IT band and related knee pain resolved within 75% within a day.

So after trying on a few different ones at other stores, I decided that Under Armour had the best shorts. When I discovered that Under Armour had a store at the Tanger Outlets in Texas City, I decided to venture out there to see if I could stock up on some shorts. I'm very happy that I made the trip to the outlets. When I first walked in, the guy that worked there helped me find the shorts that I needed. Most of the apparel seems to be about 20% lower than retail pricing. That adds up when I'm trying to stock up on workout clothes. With one of the sales going on, I got an even bigger discount on a couple pairs of really nice running capris. I just wish they had more in my size. They didn't have many in XS. The clearance section has even more discounts. I was able to find 4 compression shorts in my size on the clearance rack and a cute tank top. When I went, they had 3 different clearance racks for women, one for long sleeve tops, one for short sleeve and sleeveless tops, and one for bottoms. They had some clearance racks for men, also, but I can't remember how many. Their fitting rooms are great! They're big with a long bench on the side and several hooks on the wall and big mirrors. You can check to see what coupons and sales they have going on at the Tanger Outlets website. Just go to the coupons section of the website and it's easy to find. I think they also have a coupon in the Tanger Outlets coupon book. I ended up not getting the book for $5 though, but I'm pretty sure Under Armour is in the book. My favorite part about shopping here was the bag they gave me for putting my new purchases in. The bag looks and functions like one of their drawstring sackpacks. This was very helpful because this was the first store I visited at the outlets. After shopping here, I could just wear the bag as a backpack instead of having to drop it off at my car or having to carry it in my hand to all of the other stores I visited. The bag also looks nice enough to use again. To the ladies: If you haven't tried the Under Armour pure stretch underwear, you need to try it! I picked up a couple of pairs of the cheeky underwear because they were on sale, and I love them! I went back to this store the next week just to buy more underwear. The package does not lie when it says you'll never wear regular underwear again. The package also says no VPL, and there are none! I wear them under compression shorts and compression capris and stare at my butt in the mirror, and I am amazed by how smooth it looks! I got a bunch of cheeky ones for working out, but I might need to get some of the thongs for going out. LOL This store is awesome! It's really big and is full of stuff. They have lots of different tops and bottoms for men and women. They had shoes in the back next to the fitting rooms. They also have clothes and accessories for girls and boys. They also have underwear and socks and other accessories. The employees are all very nice. I can't wait to go again!

I also got a couple casual shirts I really like. This place isn't cheap but they seem to only carry quality brands and the customer service is amazing. I probably would've spent a similar amount of money at Nordstrom but this was a way better buying experience and I was out of there in well under an hour. I've been wanting to get back into walking for exercise and knew I needed something FAR more supportive than my adored Skechers Step-Ins. After some consultation with ChatGPT about what my current physical issues are and a brick and mortar store I could shop at, I was given a list of specific brands and styles: Brooks Ariel GTS, Hoka Gaviota, and ASICS Gel-Kayano. The icing on the cake was being referred to Wild Pear Running, where each of the models were in stock. Almost from the second I stepped in the door, I felt like family. I was greeted by Renee and after a quick size check, she brought out an enormous stack of boxes of shoes to test-drive. She checked the fit, how my toe felt in the toe box, and had me walk around a bit to see how they moved. After a brief size correction, we had it narrowed down to two models. One was a Brooks model, and the other was the Hoka Gaviota 6. I'd already decided that price would not be a factor, as I was more than willing to pay more for the best quality shoe I could get. At this point, her mini-me/daughter (please forgive me but I've forgotten her name) had joined us and we discussed adding Lock Laces so they would be easier to get on and off without having to lace up every time. She helped me pick out the best colour once I'd decided upon the Hoka model and put in the Lock Laces for me. I've done a fair amount of walking since last Saturday (including 45 minutes of physical therapy during my usual weekly visit). I can't even describe how amazing these shoes feel and how much my feet and ankles DON'T hurt after walking around for a while. Before physical therapy, I couldn't be on my feet for more than about 15 minutes without my lower back, ankles, and feet starting to hurt. Not anymore. I never thought I'd be able to say that a shoe was a life-changer but that's really what this whole experience has been. I highly recommend Wild Pear Running, no matter WHAT your goal is. You will receive the absolute best in customer service there, get incredible value for your purchase, and if you didn't feel like family when you walked in, you will by the time you leave. P.S. Fleet Feet is a small running shoe store where they do a foot scan and help you with trying on…read moredifferent shoes. I am skeptical of the foot scan as my friend who is a former employee calls it "all smoke and mirrors." They don't usually have sales on their running shoes, as they only offer a limited selection of the latest, most expensive models. They have a treadmill in store. This location has a small parking lot that is very awkward to turn into and out of on the busy street. I think it's really nice the employees don't make commission, so there isn't pressure to buy shoes on the spot. I tried on seven pairs of shoes and didn't find any of them to be very comfortable. For a store that emphasizes trying on a variety of running shoes, their return policy is not conducive to that. They allow returns within 30 days, but the shoes must be unworn. You don't know if a running shoe feels good until you actually run in them.

Totally unprofessional and will never go back. Update Called and spoke to the owner Denise Taylor and she was on the same level as her unprofessional employee and refused to see any error in the issue and didn't want to even try to save a future customer. This totally boggles me as if someone reaches out to the owner why they would not try to fix the problem. Her comments where you would have only saved $5 or $6 so what's the issue. For $6 they just lost a customer which also led me to taking the time to write this review to warn future customers of this headache.
