We absolutely love this swim school and feel so lucky to have it as part of our weekly routine. The…read morefacility is always incredibly clean, which immediately puts us at ease as parents. The Baby Blue classes are 30 minutes long, which is the perfect amount of time for little ones with short attention spans. The classes are structured and follow a consistent curriculum each week, which I personally really appreciate since at this age, consistency truly is key to learning and building confidence. Over the past year, we've had three different instructors, and every single one has been fantastic. They are attentive, patient, and genuinely fun. Our child has had moments where he's cried or struggled during class, and we've never once been made to feel guilty or uncomfortable about normal toddler emotions. Instead, the instructors handle it with so much understanding and encouragement. We genuinely love being part of this program and can't recommend it enough to other families looking for a positive, supportive, and well-run swim school.

The consistency of the lessons along with the lesson plans they follow have helped her to improve her swimming skills and confidence in the water. Her progress has been consistent and she loves going to her lessons. The teachers are so good with the kids. You can do a free trial lesson to see if it's a good fit for you. We would highly recommend Big Blue!

Sheila, the owner, is super friendly and personable. She is not only an instructor herself and jumps in the pool herself when needed, but she also makes sure that your children are in the correct swim level before they start their lessons. Sheila is not only personable, but she replies to your email within a day, and communicates effectively and consistently. She sends out the weekly schedule the weekend before so you know the swim schedule and with which instructor. We have had Abi (a swim instructor) for years and she's super good with our younger ones. She is encouraging and my children really enjoy being taught by her. We have had Nicole and AnneMarie as instructors (for level 4/5) and they are also efficient!

I had no idea how classes work and instead of explaining it nicely for a newbie she was very rude in her explanation, however the price is great so I ignored it. My son attended classes for 3 weeks and the swim instructors are so great and so cute with the kids! We loved every teacher we had. Which is what kept me going back for more lessons. I liked to sit close and listen to the instructors so I can continue to work with him on our own time. I was very pregnant and hot (it gets hot in there if you aren't swimming) so I was standing by the door catching a breeze and staying close so I can listen to what they are teaching and Sheila tells me "go sit down and quit hovering" honestly that was the last straw. That was luckily his last lesion of the week and was the last lesson I will ever sign him up for at the swimmin hole. I hope Sheila reads this review and changes her attitude.

Level one (the level right after preschool 5+) is more serious and there aren't themes like preschool. They have pre-team that you try out for and then they have Team as well. They also have a tumbling and all boys classes. Outside of gymnastics they have adult classes at varying times in the day. I haven't been to any of these. I have used the fitness equipment and they have a track and cardio equipment and then a second section with weights. If you love basketball, don't worry. There's plenty of open gym time in the evening. If you're a mom who wants to work out in the morning, there's a kid fit class for ages up to 6 six and a daycare for ages up to 8. There's a rock climbing wall that's open from 5:00 to I think 8:00 that's $8 for 1 hour. They do not provide shoes. If you're a resident of Lehi and haven't tried it out, I recommend getting a pass for a day and checking out their pool. Head's up it gets pretty loud in there!

They didn't tell us where the pool access was so I had to ask and they seemed more concerned with my potty trained-young one having two swim diapers to wear under swimsuit. I assured them I had both swim diaper types in my bag, but they looked at me like I was lying. Newsflash: not all parents care to put this on while riding in the car to be ready since some of us prefer to change into swim gear while there! Some guards are also rude. They blow their whistle for no reason at kids having fun and look like they'd rather be anywhere else but there. They also ask you to not stand too close to the big slide's exit when catching your kiddo and ask you to move away for safety, even though that results in your kiddo going underwater when coming off the slide and it taking longer to retrieve them. I can understand not standing ACTUALLY CLOSE to the slide, but five-ish feet away seems ridiculous, especially when standing off to the side.
