I was able to email Emily to find out what classes were still available. I was able to get him in for the second week of June, I brought cash to pay for his class. There were 5 other kids in his class that had two instructors. My son hasn't really been in many class settings so it was an adjustment for him to learn waiting his turn and following the group. I feel like they did a good job teaching him and maybe two weeks of lessons would be perfect for him. Parking: When you arrive to the address you'll see the driveway that goes down a steep private driveway. There is a little colored flag that says swim lessons on it but if you didn't see it like me, yes drive down the long driveway past the little playground and camping trailer. There are places to pull off to park or you can park on the north side driveway near the chickens/turkeys. DO NOT use the actual driveway at all. They made that very clear in the email. The swim lessons take place in the backyard, there's a big playground the children are allowed to play on and there is a bathroom available.

I don't know why formal lessons was the key to getting her to feel comfortable in the water but I guess it was. This location in particular has all of the amenities you need at a swim school; changing rooms, showers, blow dryers, swimsuit dryer, ample seating from the viewing area. They have everything. The staff is also very kind and understanding. We worked with Brittany at the front when we arrived and she walked us through everything we need to know and then my daughter worked with Ben in the water. They were both very patient with us and our high needs child. We cannot recommend this place enough.

Over the past year, we've had three different instructors, and every single one has been fantastic. They are attentive, patient, and genuinely fun. Our child has had moments where he's cried or struggled during class, and we've never once been made to feel guilty or uncomfortable about normal toddler emotions. I wanted my 3 year old son to be water safe so I signed him up for O'Neal Aquatics. It is a…read morechallenging to teach a child to float on their back unassisted but also necessary to help them survive a pool accident if it ever were to happen. After 10 lessons my son is completely water safe. He jumps off the diving board by himself with confidence and is able to get safely to the side. He's now moved on to working on his freestyle and backstroke. This is something he could have never achieved in a group lesson in a month or 2 months even. He loves his teacher Noelle and we look forward to lessons again next year.
