I didn't come upon Beautiful Remedy by accident or happenstance. I underwent a calculated, extensive search for a local lash technician whose work was excellent and whose space permeated professionalism. I searched through Yelp and cross-referenced with Google Reviews. I dug into social media accounts and websites. And at the end, this place checked every box and stood out from the rest. I made my appointment, a couple weeks in advance, online which was a simple process. I arrived 5 minutes early to my appointment and Jana (owner and sole technician) greeted me brightly at the door. I filled out paperwork and contractually agreed to Jana's use of before and after photos. I really appreciated that form, because it gave me the authority to choose if and how I would permit the use of my likeness; it seems many beauty techs feel entitled to my likeness these days. The ambiance is clean, bright, and open. I appreciated the decor as it was in no way distracting or merely trendy. Everything invoked a relaxing atmosphere, from the music to the comfortable treatment table. Jana's approach is truly professional. She formulated a plan for my eyelashes that was unique to my desires and my eye-shape. I closed my eyes and felt in very good hands. As I'm no stranger to eyelash extensions, I've experienced both ends of the spectrum: good and bad techs. With Jana, there was no pinching, stinging or fumbling. She worked with expertise and gentleness. Although we had a lovely conversation, I quite literally fell asleep from the soothing effect she has! When I awoke, my lashes were done! My eyelids easily opened with no residual glue sting, my beautiful lashes fluttered with joy. Jana sent me home with all kinds of aftercare goodies (thank you!) and told me that we can continue to tailor the next set to whatever my needs might be. I love that.
