He knew the treatment options and was able to explain them. He was good with middle aged women and men. Not sure he did a full exam but he did give me some good advice that changed the course of a very painful injury. And he is just and employee of OM and not a boss as one person said. Just because he has the MD doesn't make him in charge but who knows maybe now he does have a new admin position in this form of health care delivery?

Called O.M. after joining and made appointment for today, Monday, Dec. 8. On Friday, Dec. 5 late afternoon, just ONE business day before the appt., I get a call from O.M. telling me Dr. Fell's office cancelled my appt. because they do not accept new patients anymore. 1. Why was appt. available and booked if Dr. Fell does not accept new patients anymore? 2. Why notify me end of day on Friday, one business day before the actual appt? 3. Why not having the decency/courtesy to call me directly to let me know? Perhaps Dr. Fell is indeed a good doctor (I did not get a chance to experience), however, given the way HIS office/people handled this matter, makes him a terrible leader. And as we all know, the buck stops with the boss. Disappointing, to say the least.

She is 15 mins away from me but since I liked her care initially, I figured I would stay with her as my primary doctor. In April 2021, her office contacted me to schedule an appointment for this year so after I got my covid vaccines I called back on 5/27/21 to set up a date and time for an annual physical and a pap. This is how it went: 12:07PM: Called to schedule annual physical and pap for 6/8/21. She said she can do it both during the same appointment but will need to charge it to insurance for different days. I didn't mind so I set the appointment. After I hung up, I realized that I didn't need to get a pap this year so... 12:18PM: I called her to change the appointment and make sure the appointment is only for an annual physical. She said "ok just tell the office when you're here that day". I wanted to make sure that it's on the record that I'm only coming for the annual physical (and NOT the pap also) since I don't want her to charge my insurance for both visits. I don't think she understood my concern because she explained to me that she cannot confirm whether my insurance will charge me or not. A few hours later, I decided it was probably better to find a doctor closer to me so... 2:05PM: I called the office again and it went to voicemail. She called me back right away from another number and just said "yeah?".... so unprofessional that she didn't say who she was but I recognized her voice. I said "I have a June 8 appointment and I'd like to cancel it please." And she said "yeah that's fine" and hung up without confirming anything else. I tried calling her back but she didn't pick up. From this experience, I'm glad I'll be going to another doctor. I just hope that she doesn't charge my insurance and claim that I didn't show up for the appointment.
