I came to see her in Feb 2020 for the first time and she got things done quickly and even suggested the flu shot. She is 15 mins away from me but since I liked her care initially, I figured I would stay with her as my primary doctor. In April 2021, her office contacted me to schedule an appointment for this year so after I got my covid vaccines I called back on 5/27/21 to set up a date and time for an annual physical and a pap. This is how it went: 12:07PM: Called to schedule annual physical and pap for 6/8/21. She said she can do it both during the same appointment but will need to charge it to insurance for different days. I didn't mind so I set the appointment. After I hung up, I realized that I didn't need to get a pap this year so... 12:18PM: I called her to change the appointment and make sure the appointment is only for an annual physical. She said "ok just tell the office when you're here that day". I wanted to make sure that it's on the record that I'm only coming for the annual physical (and NOT the pap also) since I don't want her to charge my insurance for both visits. I don't think she understood my concern because she explained to me that she cannot confirm whether my insurance will charge me or not. A few hours later, I decided it was probably better to find a doctor closer to me so... 2:05PM: I called the office again and it went to voicemail. She called me back right away from another number and just said "yeah?".... so unprofessional that she didn't say who she was but I recognized her voice. I said "I have a June 8 appointment and I'd like to cancel it please." And she said "yeah that's fine" and hung up without confirming anything else. I tried calling her back but she didn't pick up. From this experience, I'm glad I'll be going to another doctor. I just hope that she doesn't charge my insurance and claim that I didn't show up for the appointment. read more

The most despicable, DISGUSTING people. My brother needed an urgent appointment for an abnormal lab value. When we called, we gave information and when she asked for insurance, my mom asked the lady to wait ONE MINUTE while she found his VHP card. The "lady" became EXTREMELY impatient and VERBALLY ABUSIVE. She started telling my mom DON'T CALL ME IF YOU ARE CONFUSED!! This "lady" then continued to VERBALLY ASSAULT my mom and asked her why she was calling if she's not ready and she's confused. My mom told her she is making her nervous by being SO RUDE. So she hung up on my mom??. My mom called back when she had the card and the lady refused to make an appointment. How can you work with people if you are so disgusting? I just had the most unprofessional interaction with this office. STAY AWAY BY ALL MEANS NECESSARY. Can you believe not only did the receptionist HANG UP on me, but so did the Doctor?!?! Your insurance may cover everything you're going in about (basic yearly exam), but she will create other ways to steal money from you by billing you for things that were not covered by the service (she says) even though it deals DIRECTLY to why you came in. Not sure about all the negative reviews here. It's unfortunate that some people haven't had a pleasant experience. A lot of the reviews seem like multiples or from same groups of people. Or maybe I'm wrong. I can only speak from my experience here. Been coming here for 5 years now. Never had a problem getting an appointment and the Dr has always provided me with adequate care. She is covered by my insurance. Other than my copay, I've never paid out of pocket for anything or been force to pay cash for services. I've paid the copay in cash and credit card before. I can understand a merchant preferring cash as to avoid processing charges, I don't hold it against them. The waiting area is a little dated, but I personally don't care about that. All I know is that I have had had been provided with quality care and sound medical advice since I have been seeing her. Maybe people have been put off by the accent or the way she converses. I appreciate a give and take conversation. Again, I can only speak to my experiences. I have been to a lot of doctors that were much worse. Dr. Heideh listens to your concerns, makes recommendations, and refers to specialists if you need to. Couple things that could be improved is the signage in the front office. Most of it is just printed on paper and hung. Could probably present info intended for patients a little better then using Microsoft Word and bold print (if that's important to people). But hey, big font and bold letters are easy to see I suppose. The receptionist could be a little more professional when answering phones too. I could see how that would be off-putting, but I've never had a problem or been offended. Overall I would recommend Dr. Heideh despite the negative reviews. My husband and I went to this doctor for immigration medical exam. The experience was nothing short of a nightmare!! Doctor Heideh and her staff have no empathy, no respect, no patience, no professionalism whatsoever. Dr. Heideh has temper issues, she got angry and yelled at us several times when we asked simple questions. We are kind people who hate to be rude or write something this rude about someone. But the people in this office are so obnoxious, we do not want anyone to face this kind of an experience. When we could not deal with them anymore, we requested them to give us a refund. The doctor called us "cheap people" and said "get out of my office". She gave us a cheque in the end which we are hoping will go through. She shut her clinic door behind us. I am thankful that I did not go to this office. Such a negative experience with just a phone call trying to get appointment. Front desk person was more keen on collecting deductible even though I tried to explain my plan has no ded. Even gave her ref number from my insurance agent which she refused to acknowledge, on top of it she advised me to go to urgent care(like I didn't know before) if I wanted to avoid ded!! I booked an appointment through Zocdoc and received a confirmation email shortly. One day before my appointment, I received a reminder about my GYN visit. One hour before my appointment, I received another reminder about my visit, along with directions. So I drove 25 minutes to my appointment with Dr. Khalilnejad and lo and behold... the clinic was closed. Confused, I called the phone number provided to me and it went directly to the doctor. Here is how the conversation went: Me: Hello, I'm calling because I have an 11:30 appointment and the clinic appears to be closed. Dr: What is your name? Me: *states name* Dr: The clinic is closed today, I'm sure my assistant told you. Me: Uhhh... then why would I be here? Dr: Well I'm sure my assistant tried to tell you but you didn't listen to your messages. Here are some facts: 1. The last point of contact I had was the text from an hour ago reminding me of appt details. 2. The doctor didn't even APOLOGIZE once for the inconvenience (I mean, I guess because it didn't inconvenience HER). 3. There were no such "messages," voicemail or otherwise indicating that the appointment was canceled. Utterly unprofessional and upsetting. Would never recommend. The worst doctor I have ever had. She was so unprofessional and super rude.  I made the appointment for an annual check up and for a lump on my body. During the exam, I asked her to see the lump. She told me that the front desk only noticed annual check ups, no lump concern. I told her that there was a lump that I needed her to check.  Exactly words "I'm sorry if there is a misunderstanding about my reason for the visit but I came here for your help. Can you please check my lump?" She then got mad, raised her voice and pointed her finger at me, telling me how I was wasting her time adding more problems to the visit and that I wasn't telling the truth to the receptionist. After arriving in office, she told me that my cholesterol level is high, and I need to be careful. After that, she asked her staff to charge me $125. Took my 92 year old dad to her. Show up at 850 for a 9 appt. No one there. She shows up and tells us we are early and they don't open till 9. She does let us in and proceeds to tell that she is not contracted with his Medicare Insurance Supplemental that we gave info ahead of time to make appt. She tells as favor, she will see him. First and last time going to her. I can't imagine how she is a qualified doctor. The language she used, how rude she was, how little she knew about my medications...unbelievable. My first time going. I booked a half hour appointment. She had me out in less than five minutes. 1. She told me she could only do one reference per appointment. I was going in to get set up for all my new doctors under my new insurance. She told me I would have to make separate appointments for each new doctor I wanted to see. "This is not a PPO, this is a HMO, we are cheap". 2. She refused to renew my prescriptions--she didn't even know what some of them were. "What is this, I do not know what this is. What do you take this for?" I heard this over and over again. Very common medications, I might add. 3. I had a list of things I wanted to talk to her about, and I did not get to any of them. "I have referral written down here, that is all I talk about, we are done." She certainly was...charming. I will be calling the insurance company on Monday to file a complaint and get a new doctor, to start all over. This woman should not be practicing medicine, in my opinion. read more

It took me a long time to write this review because I am honestly scared of the doctor. I feel that she has anger issues or control issues and I have been scared she would retaliate against me in some way. However, the fact that there are a lot of reviews here on yelp makes me feel more comfortable. The first few times I visited the doctor it was fine. It all blew up one day when she insisted I pay her some money in cash for a vaccination form she signed off on. I didn't feel comfortable with her pushing me for cash (the receptionist/bill person was dealing with another customer) and I wanted to wait for the receptionist because the receptionist had taken my credit card the week before and the doctor was insisting I pay in cash. (Side note, I had presented the vaccination form the week earlier but the doctor had me make a second trip to get the form signed - she charged me copay for that second trip). I wanted to ask the receptionist a question about my debit HSA card and I also felt uncomfortable with how pushy the doctor was being. The doctor then stormed off, grabbed my form, and sat in her office. She yelled from the room that she didn't want to deal with me because I was so rude and also yelled for the receptionist to charge me $30 for the form. I calmly apologized for offending the doctor and told her I had wanted to ask the receptionist about my HSA card. After some more apologizing, the doctor stormed out and attempted to show me a paper sign on the wall saying cash only (there was no sign). She told me that since I had come to the office I had been suspicious and always asked why I had to pay for things (I, one time, asked if a STD test that she told me to do was covered by insurance). She also said I was extremely demanding (I had asked if it was possible to be sent a copy of my blood test results but I gave up because she insisted I was healthy and couldn't have a copy although she had a copy in her hand). She said I had an attitude problem and I was extremely rude. I can honestly say that nobody has ever told me that in my life. I apologized and went to my car and held back tears. I have never been treated like that by anyone in my life, let alone a professional. I looked into reporting her to the Board of Physicians but it said on the site customer service complaints do not count. She was super sweet to me before this incident happened, so it really scared me. Though as a side note, the pap smear she gave was much more painful than ones I had gotten in the past. I went last year for my annual check. The doctor is really nice, she explains very well all things. She gave my some recommendations. BUT THE SURPRISE CAME WHEN I RECEIVED THE BILL!!!!!!! OMG!!!! I wish I could give 0 star. She is the worst "doctor" ever and it was the most horrible and stressful experience I had in my life. Here is the story, we went to her office a few months ago to do the medical exam for our immigration process. Her price was 170$ at the time, and it was way cheaper than the other doctors we called. I hadn't read the google reviews before the first time we went there and she ordered the lab tests for us. Before the results came out, I was just checking her office address on google again and her awfully low review scores got our attention (people were complaining about how she is rude with her patients and how there were mistakes in the forms she filled out for the immigration process and so on). We were like ok, Drs. are supposed to give us a copy of the form (I-693) based on USCIS instruction and also based on what has been mentioned in the form. So we can check the form and if there were mistakes we can ask her to correct it and we'll be fine. We went there and asked for a copy, guess what, she only gave us the first two pages of the form (which is basically your name and address and A-number and a spot to put your signature on) and asked us to sign it. We signed it, without her showing us the rest of the form, and when we told her that hey this is based on USCIS instruction and you have to give us a copy and we insisted on having a copy or at least give us our money back (not to mention our time that she wasted and the stress she put us through), she threatened us that she'd be calling the police and also reporting our behavior to USCIS!!!! While we were shocked that what the heck we did that you want to report, She threw us out of his office while she had the medical forms and also our money in her hand, left nothing with us. We were waiting outside her office, she only agreed to reimburse us partially and took our money without giving us any service. Anyway, it only left us a week of a stressful time and a horrible experience. Please stay away from her, my biggest mistake was that I didn't read the google reviews before calling her office :( At least I was lucky enough that I figured it out soon after reading other people's reviews on google and scheduled an appointment with another DR, after the whole disaster. read more

Why didn't I check the yelp page before my visit? It's a frightening 1 star ride all the way down the page (with some false 5 star review assistance from friends and family) Lesson learned! I'm not sure this person is licensed to be a doctor. She's running a scam and looking for payment at every turn. SNL should write a comedy sketch for this experience. I think a report the the California Department of Consumer Affairs Medical Board is needed. 1-800-633-2322 Let's see, greets patients with her back turned, tries to upsell preventative care like flu shots, moves boxes and junk in the office while attending the desk and tells you that your IN- network PPO might NOT be accepted therefore you'll have to pay $200 for an in-office visit after your $20 co-pay, tells you that you must schedule another visit if you have additional questions regarding your symptoms, Hmmmm does NOT read your chart and prescribes medication that you are highly allergic to (I'm glad I asked the pharmacist), and misspells your name on the prescription so the pharmacy cannot track your medication. This woman is FLAT OUT RUDE! It's all fun and quacking until you make an error that could cost you your license. Do us a favor and find another profession please! read more

What an ordeal !! Who gave her a license to practice ?? Wish we had checked other reviews before going here. My wife and I went to Heidheh Khalilnejad for an immigration exam (I-693) a few weeks ago as her name pops up at the top when looking for civil surgeon for my zipcode on the USCIS website. She was really rude straight from the get go for no reason when we went to our visit. We just let that slide thinking she must be having a bad day. I had to go to my PCP to get immunity tests done as part of the immigration exam, as she said she can't write labs for them and her office took forever to get back about the results, and the doctor was rude each time we tried to follow up about the results, the doctor and her staff were giving misleading or wrong information about the availability of the results or the results itself. After a few days, gave them a call asking for the results and again the staff and the doctor were saying they haven't received my wife's results, while the doctor had mentioned earlier that all the results were in place for my wife and I could clearly see that the results were uploaded on my wife's quest diagnostics account as well. Looking at the doctor's utter inefficiency, lack of professionalism, rudeness and temper issues, I asked for a refund since she made us wait for a month and charged us for a service that she never completed. She said angrily that I'll give you your refund and hung up the phone rudely. I went to her clinic immediately after and requested politely for a refund and the vaccination records that I had dropped off earlier, and she basically handed me a check and when I asked for a copy of the lab results, she refused to give them to me and then started showing some form that I had signed when my wife and I had gone for the first visit, saying she doesnt need to give me the refund and it was a courtesy. I said I appreciate it and left and as soon as I sat in my car, I realized that she had given me a torn check at the top. And then I went back to ask if this torn check would create any issues with the bank and politely asked her if she could write me another check. She completely lost her temper and came fuming at me to grab the check from my hands and tear it, and I stepped back. She started telling her front desk lady to cancel the check and I asked her why she was being rude for such a simple request. She then asked me to "get out of her office" and shouted "cheap people" at me while I was leaving. The front desk lady chimed in with her saying that I was making a fuss about nothing and started shouting at me to "Get Out" as well. I found the cheap people and get out comments made by the Dr. to be extremely aggressive and emotionally traumatizing. I left without saying a word from her clinic. I will be surprised if the check goes through as she might have cancelled the cheque for all we know. Irrespective of whether the money is refunded or not, she has no right to treat patients like this. With so many similar bad reviews, I wonder how she is even continuing to practice or how people are ending up going to her clinic. Hope this review helps to stay away from this practice. The doctor clearly has really bad temper issues and a very disrespectful demeanor. Stay away from this clinic for your own sakes ! Update: She is such a FRAUD!. I have an advanced degree in the medical profession and this doctor has always treated me with respect and has provided competent advice. She is organized and always ensures that I am up to date with my medical requirements i.e. routine labs, yearly physicals, and pap. She is an intelligent and practical physician. She will not order unnecessary tests. Her judgment has always been accurate and I trust her medical ability. She has been my PCP for 3 years and I will be keeping it that way as long as possible. It seems that most of the input on this site is coming from people with no medical background. Unfortunately, these people may not be the best qualified to accurately rate this physician. Dr. Khalilnejad specializes in Women's health and her gynecological knowledge is stellar. I trust all of her judgments and rely on her advice. She is also very accessible and returns calls promptly. As a medical professional, I assure you that you will not receive this kind of attention in a large practice or medical corporation. read more

My husband was assigned this doc by the HMO. My husband is not the kind who does reviews but I am furious about his experience. This doctor has the worst bed side manner. Would highly recommend not to go to her. My husband went to her as he needed a family physician to refer him to an allergy specialist. He suffers from bad seasonal allergies for a number of years now and has tried all the over the counter allergy medication. You name it he has tried it It's gotten so bad that now he can't sleep laying down at night. He has to sleep upright as he is wheezing for air. So due to his insurance he had to get a family doc to refer him to the specialist. First of all the doctor spoke to him in a rude manner like he was an idiot for wanting to be referred to an allergy specialist. She said they won't help him and he should try over the counter medication. My husband kept explaining to her he has tried every OTC meds and most don't do much to relieve his symptoms. He said he is currently using Claritin D and it seems to work OK for now. Then she should not take clartin D since it was one of the first allergy meds on the market. And again he explained to her it's the only one that is currently helping him compared to the others. When he asked for a prescription for Clartin D while he waits for the referral process to go through she kept telling him that he does not need a script for over the counter meds. My husband explained to her he has the flex spending account and can't use it for OTC unless he has a prescription.
