I have been personally coming here for probably close to 5 years and have never left disappointed. They have a pretty good reservation system and honour their bookings quite well as long as you're not too late. The place is always packed for dinner so booking in advance is a must. Your senses are assaulted as you walk towards the joint, smokey meaty goodness can be smelt from a distance. They have all your favourite raw meats to cook on the coal stoves at your table. Various beef, pork and chicken cuts are available from natural to marinated. There are also a few seafood offerings - prawns, squid, octopus and mussels. The quality of meat is pretty good, tender beef and fatty where it should be (pork belly). As well as the traditional Korean bbq offerings, they have a decent selection of pre cooked food from fried noodles to sushi. What I do like about this place is the copious amounts of lettuce, kim chi, shallot salad and various condiments that go so well if freshly cooked bbq meat. And if you still have room for dessert, they have icecream, fruit, Korean jelly and a refreshing cracked rice drink. At $32 a head for dinner, it's pretty good value.

Good value for the price! The self-serve bar has A LOT of choices...meats, of course, but also so…read moremany other things to just snack on while cooking, or as side dishes, or for the little ones to eat. Limited dessert choices, but you're too full by then anyway. :)

I remember passing it when i was small and noticing the japanese-esque seating where you sit cross-legged on a legless chair with a bum mat on the ground. There is normal chair seating of course, the restaurant's seating is split into two different rooms so no awkward feelings of class division here lol. For a bbq grill your own restaurant it was not smoky at all. I think this is because they use a different kind of hot flat surface to bbq your meat and somehow no smoke comes out of it. It is very efficient and the meat they serve is good quality; we had the beef brisket and marinated pork belly which both came in ample portions, perfect cutting to allow a good ratio of meat and fat, sliced thin already so we didn't need to use scissors to further cut the meat which is something we're usually forced to do other places. I came here expecting to get bossam as i saw in older reviews but i guess since the place had been revamped/renamed it doesn't serve it anymore. Was severely disappointed as it was my birthday and it's my favourite food so just warning y'all. This Korean restaurant does not serve bossam. Overall my experience of this place was excellent, above the usual quality of kbbq meat and almost like yakiniku, with a bonus of getting to have side dishes and Korean dishes to choose from. 10/10 would regular.

There are grill spaces an we ordered squid and beef... which they prepared and yes the food was great! Korean food is the best... I guess I'm biased. Not very spacious and family owned so it feels a bit homely. Would recommend to fans of Korean food.

I usually prefer my beef medium rare, but it got mixed with the pork, so everything got cooked well done. If my beef was cooked medium rare, this would probably be a 5 star review. Sirloin Beef $39 AUD - Beautifully marbled. Marinated Beef Ribs $36AUD - This was good and had generous meat. We ordered too much meat, but amazingly we finished it all, so it had to have been really good. Cheese Corn Side Dish - Okay, too cheesy for me. I bet very few people say that, lol. Tofu Side Dish - I am not a tofu or soup person, so I did not try. They have both Korean and Australian beers, thank you. I chose to drink the local beers, as the Korean brand beers were the same as the U.S. Support locals. Atmosphere - Small local restaurant. Indoor/outdoor seating were very limited. Semi-open kitchen, see picture. You will be crammed in to maximize space. Open 7 days a week from 11am to 10:30pm. Not sure if they have bathrooms; sorry I can not remember and I did not take a picture. Service - Full service. They actually cook the food for you at your table. Both the owner and waiter cooked for us. I really appreciated that. But I am also sure they do that to turn the tables faster, good business practice. Win/win. Price - See menu, Korean foods are always a little on the expensive side, but when you take into consideration the current US exchange rate, it was a sale for us. :) Owner Comment - Congrats on your success.
