We recently moved into our new three-bedroom, three-bathroom home, and having Laura and her team professionally clean it made such a huge difference. They went far above and beyond our expectations, and the attention to detail was absolutely incredible. There were some areas that honestly looked like they would be extremely difficult to bring back to life -- especially the stubborn hard-water stains and buildup on the glass shower doors, discoloration around the windowsills, and the grout throughout the bathrooms. Laura and her team didn't just clean these areas; they took the time and effort to really work on them until they looked dramatically better. The difference was incredible! Walking into our home after they were finished was such an amazing feeling. Everything looked, smelled, and felt so fresh and beautiful. wish I had something positive to say about this company and its owner. She was hired through my…read morerealtor to clean our new home prior to our move in. She bid $1700 and we agreed. When we showed up, she complained that the job was underbid and she should have charged us closer to $4000. Well this was not my problem because she decided to bid the project without seeing it first. She complained that she couldn't open the windows to clean the inside sills. The inside of the windows still had a film on them because she just used a spray cleaner when clearly a deep clean would have called for ammonia water and a squeegee. She wanted to leave before the cleaning was all done (after about 8 hours) without finishing the project. She said she would come back to finish but wanted to charge me for a second visit. When I told her I wasn't going to pay her till the project was finished, or at least subtract out the cost for the windows, she became irate and said she would call the cops...which I was fine with. She then proceeded to stomp outside and complain to my realtor who had facilitated the job. My realtor couldn't talk to her because she was screaming at her, and so she told her to leave the house. Which she quickly left without coming back in. And was sure to send me a pay request for the remaining amount above my deposit. I ended up paying the full price the same evening, but I would never hire this individual again. She may be ok at cleaning small, newer houses or apartments. But she is does not follow thru on her business deals and is nasty and won't stop running her mouth if it's not an easy job. Needless to say I am still finding things dirty. Today I opened a kitchen drawer and it was filled with some old potatoes and onion peels and a spider. And I found several kitchen cabinets still dirty. I get the house needed some love...a 91 year old woman had lived there without any help for 15 years. But i would have thought a hired hand who makes this their job would have done much better and would take pride in their work. I do not recommend, take your chances on a psycho who lacks real business standards.

We started using AA+ in October 2025. Initially, the cleanings went well, but progressively…read moredeclined. Our first issue was timing of cleanings. Multiple times I asked for afternoon cleanings to adjust to my work schedule or my granddaughter's schedule. They struggled to schedule a time that was convenient for us. Many times they would come much earlier or much later than the scheduled time. That makes it very difficult when you have children that you need to take out of the house while it's being cleaned. Cleanings started becoming lackluster. For example, the shower would get sprayed with cleaner but not scrubbed so it actually looked dirtier after it was "cleaned." Most times we had to re-make our bed because they only put the top sheet on the bed but wouldn't tuck it in at the foot of the bed and corners. When we mentioned these things, we got apologies but the habits did not change. In May 2026 we got charged an extra $15 for a "porch clean" that we did not authorize. Not only did we get the extra charge, but when I went upstairs, I discovered that the entire upstairs had not been cleaned at all. They refunded the money. This is when we decided we would give one last chance. Then on the most recent visit July 2026, we came home to our back door unlocked and our fireplace on!!! 2 safety hazards!!! We were so upset. It was 96° outside that day, and the heat of the fireplace was adding to the work of the air conditioning trying to cool the house. But more importantly than that, we would never leave our fireplace on unattended!! This was the last straw for us. We could no longer trust that our home would be safe. We cancelled our service immediately.

I provided a written list of prioritized cleaning items I wanted to have done that I personally dislike doing. i.e. clean baseboards, trim/molding, kitchen cabinet exteriors, shower glass, window glass in all rooms, sliding glass door, stovetop, oven, and so on. As such, it was probably not a traditional deep clean, as I dictated the important items that could be accomplished in a 3-hour time period.

I knew this young woman was incompetent when she could not find the address. She drove around for nearly 20 minutes, "lost." When she arrived I knew she did not want to be there, she was very frazzled and dismissive. I went to introduce myself and to welcome her, instantly knew she was uncomfortable with my skin tone. However, I went to shake her hand she only touched the tips of my fingers. She also did not greet my 80 year old mother that was sitting in the kitchen, so my mother said hello and asked her name. Not sure how she was raised but usually when you walk into someone's home you should definitely great your elders if not everyone. Despite the cold entrance, I tried to be very pleasant, gave her a tour of the home and told her exactly what I needed done. I left her to complete the tasks and went to the kitchen, after two minutes had past, I see Tabitha run out and not say anything. Two seconds later I get a call from a representative at merry maids stating that she was leaving due to "Bad working conditions," stating it was too hot. We have air conditioning but I didn't realize it was not on because it doesn't get hot in the home. I explained that all she had to do was state that she was warm and her or I could simply turn on the air. I also went to Tabitha as she was leaving to see exactly why she didn't just ask me to turn on the air but she didn't say much of anything, she was just very impatient to leave as quickly as possible. I was born and raised in NYC but my family has been on this land before the development of the United States of America and has built this land on their backs. I have never in my experience racism and it really hurts when people think it's fine to treat you any type of way due to something as simple as melanin.
