(They have weird hours to see the birds and butterflies so check the website ahead of time.) Another thing to note is that this park is enclosed by a fence and there are very few entrances and exits.

Park has a walkway to cross the street, plenty of kids playing, playgrounds, paths, people jogging or walking, and even an event with schoolchildren being honored for something (my Spanish wasn't good enough to understand!) Its absolutely wonderful and a breath of fresh air in busy Guadalajara. It get very busy on the weekends, but its huge and worth the trip definitely. There are very large different section so you can find what you are looking for. There is an area with a pond for dogs, a big area with dirt jumps, privacy, people watching. Its huge so you can stroll or throw down a blanket and enjoy. I love this park!
