First I have to say I absolutely love diamonds :)! With that being said I have to say this jewelry company is amazing and carries the most beautiful bridal jewelry specifically my favorite Neil Lane. After many visits , a few upgrades of me and my husbands wedding bands , and lots of money spent I finally was able to customize my wedding band to exactly what I wanted all along. Kevin and George are amazing so if you are looking for the best jewelry and best customer service this is the place. The store receives a four star rating as it was clean and easy to navigate, however Kortney, our sales associate, gets a rating of TEN! She was absolutely great throughout the entire process of: choosing a diamond for the engagement ring from an extensive on line catalog as I wanted a specific color and cut, viewing the stone once it arrived and helping me choose a setting that would highlight the diamond to it's most stunning level!! If the store management reads these reviews do yourself a favor and keep employees like Kortney at whatever cost. It will benefit Jared's immensely in the long run! I had my fiance's ring hidden away for about four months before proposing. A few months after I gave her the ring the center stone fell out; unfortunately, this put us at just over 7 months since we bought it. Because we had neglected to have it inspected for 7 months they charged me a massive amount of money to buy another diamond. She was heartbroken. Furthermore, I had the ring on layaway nearly a year....so when the diamond fell out I was in trouble. How was I supposed to pay for it again when it took a year to save up the first time? So my complaints are these: 1. What seems to me to be shoddy workmanship. The diamond should not have fallen out after only three months of use. 2. I can prove when I proposed to my (now) wife, and they would have none of it. They may have the legal ground to deny me, but practically, I feel that a reasonable party would have acknowledged that when a ring is in a sock drawer it isn't getting worn or used; therefore, I don't feel it should have counted against me. 3. Retrospectively, I think it's shoddy that there was not a solid warranty. For example, a 3 year warranty after which you must inspect the ring every 6 months. That would be reasonable because the diamond shouldn't fall out within the first couple years. read more

Would not recommend this location to anyone. I purchased my fiance's engagement band and have had nothing but trouble. First, the customer service was awful. We were treated as if we were an inconvenience and it wasn't until talking to corporate "Jared" did we get treated as "worthy" customers. Second, the quality of jewelry is poor. My fiancé has worn her ring for approximately a month and I've taken it in twice because the small diamonds on the ring have fallen out! A brand new ring! One of the occasions the diamond was missing after it has in the store cir resizing! Wouldn't you notice a diamond was missing as you are looking through a magnifying glass? This is the pushiest place you can go to... They have some nice stuff but it's like dealing with old fashion used car guys. I am surprised the salespeople don't circle your car when you walk in. Have taken my Tag Heuer watch in for maintenance checks, batteries for a while now. Now happy with the service but always got my watch back running until the battery needed to be changed. Gave my watch to the Jared's at Park Meadows in May 2019 got it back in July 2019 and 5 months later it quit working. Took it to Jared's in the Springs. What I have found out is that these 2 places are apparently not on the same computer system. I was told I needed a maintenance work. They had no record of my dealings with Park Meadows. I had this done in July 2019. When I told the girl that I initially had the watch repaired at Park Meadows she states " oh, that's a whole different issues." She did not know who they used for Tag Heuer watch repair so must be 2 different places. They were certainly willing for me to pay for my watch maintenance 2 within 6 months at 2 different Jared's . Can is say RACKET! I am trying to get my watch back and will not be returning to Jared's for anything. Need to find a more reputable jewelry repair place. read more

Recently, I visited the Jared galleria located at Woodman and Academy in North Colorado Springs Colorado. I was looking for an anklet bracelet for my wife's anniversary in the price range of approximately $300-$400. Through the assistance of one of the sales clerks I was able to locate an anklet in the Jerrod catalog and the item could be ordered in for our anniversary. Unfortunately, the anklet was an inch and a half short of being able to be worn. I returned to the store and spoke with Brittany. I asked Brittany if it was possible to order a longer anklet or could a extension of an inch and a half of single link chain be added to the anklet. She stated to me that she would look into it and contact me within a couple of days. Brittany did contact me within two days which I appreciated. However, I was informed that an extension could not be added to the chain. And that if I wanted an extension I would simply have to order the identical chain at the same price of $300 and then they could make an extension. Fortunately I was able to take the anklet to another jeweler who was able to add a 2 inch extension for a cost of $50. I have ordered jewelry in the past from Jerrod. I was satisfied with the jewelry. However, this experience has made me realize that Jared galleria is unable to accommodate the personal needs of customers. read more

I had never been to Jared before, I went in to exchange a Christmas present and noticed first, the jewelry selection was aweful & very over priced, secondly, the employee tried to pawn me off on a female employee b/c he was having trouble helping me find something in the same price range ($200.00). I over heard her bad mouthing me btw..When she didnt want to help me, he pawned me off on someone else who I will say was very helpful and the only one who seemed to care if I ever found something. I am not looking forward to going back again and settling with what I can find and terrible customer service. Oh I even came in with a gift reciept and they wouldnt let me just get a store credit without the person who bought it with me. I will never shop here for ANYTHING. read more

***Beware...these people are not honest and will steal your money. The diamond got knocked out of my wedding ring so I took it to Jared's, hoping to get it repaired. (I have been there before to have to have my rings rhodium plated). After waiting forever, they gave me a laundry list of things wrong with my ring and wanted over $400 to fix it!!!! After laughing really hard and having wasted nearly an hour of my day, I took my ring and left. Thank goodness I stumbled across a fantastic jeweler, The Guilded Artisan. I took my ring in (and didn't tell them I had been to Jared's.) First of all, the people here are wonderful...not like the used car salesman mentality at Jared's. They took my ring and examined it closely, but it didn't take an hour. It took about 10 minutes. They found none of the damage that Jared's said was there....no cracks, no loose sapphire, no need to rebuild the prongs. The stone just needed re-set, and they even re-set it a little deeper so that the diamond wasn't so precarious. It only took 3 days for the repairs, and I was only charged $40!!!! I went ahead and had my 2 rings and my husband's ring rhodium plated during that time as well. That was also less expensive than Jared's. I walked out of there paying a little over $100, to include the Rhodium....NOT $400 for repairs alone. Moral of the story.... Go to The Guilded Artisan...they are wonderful and honest! read more

I made it very clear that i wanted my proposal to be a secret and that i didnt want anything sent to my house, i filled out an application for financial assistance and after i got the info in the store that i needed i gave it a couple days to think. Sure enough after two days i started getting mail with jared logo in plain sight on the front. In 2011, my husband bought our wedding bands at the Denver store. However, we go to the Colorado Springs store on Woodmen Rd to have them cleaned every 6 months. Ever since he bought them it's been a nightmare to have our rings cleaned every 6 months at this store. Every time we go they can't find our records and we spend more than 60 minutes waiting. My ring has diamond chips and after having it cleaned, within a week one or two chips would fall off. They stated that it was common because sometimes hand lotion would be holding them in and when cleaned they would fall off. Hmmmm, I never bought it. The last time we went was last September and when I took our rings in mid March to be cleaned they had no record of it and they wanted to charge me for a fallen chip; I bought a warranty for the ring, but they said it only covered the metal....I was told it was to cover the diamond chips and take care of the metal. I finally had it and we never went back. I don't recommend this store or any warranty they sell to cover the rings. read more

If you are bringing in an old setting to have reset into something new, Jared will charge you $10 per stone to remove it claiming it is labor intensive and difficult. I went to an independent jeweler who took about 5 minutes to remove 10 small stones and charged me $1.00 per stone and removed them right in front of me. When I expressed my dissatisfaction to Manager George, all I got was the run around and he clearly did not care that he lost my business as I felt very taken advantage of as the customer. I purchased a setting and had my stone put in it and it's beautiful, but never again will I do business with Jared. read more

I walked into Jared this morning with $7,000 and a skip in my step. It was just me and my three year old, but my husband and I had been looking for rings and had a few in mind. I wasn't greeted at all by the people who were working and helping other people. So my daughter and I started to walk around looking at the rings in the different cases. I know they saw me, but I never received a "We will be with you shortly" or anything. In the twenty minutes my daughter and I waited, another couple walked in and started browsing as well. As soon as someone was finally free, they walked over to the couple and started to help them. There is no way that these people missed me. At this point we had been waiting 30+ minutes and my daughter was getting impatient and rowdy. I can't believe that not one person even acknowledged me. I walked out with $7,000 in my pocket and irritated. I was dressed in my boots and a tee shirt, so maybe they didn't take me serious as a customer, but I've never been more disappointed. Be aware when getting you jewelry cleaned and inspected. Been shopping here for 15 years. Have some beautiful pieces, however the customer service has deteriorated over the years. Recently took in my rings for clean/inspection was given a "no service" needed. The next week I wore one of my rings and noticed the stone was missing, immediately took it and and was informed that I had three other stones loose and that Jared was not responsible and would cost to have it fixed. We were naturally upset, told the acting manager, George, that we will take our business elsewhere if they don't fix it. He handed back the ring and basically said "f*%k you". We left called corporate who told us the stone is covered but not the mounting. If Jared would had told me I had three stones loose I would not have worn the ring. Now I question the setting in all my jewelry and so it sits at home. Jared you are deceiving your customers and to make more money on repairs. Shame in you!! read more

I brought my wife's wedding-ring set here for cleaning/repair for our 30th anniversary. I had read several cautionary advisory blogs on how to get fine jewelry repaired so I came with expectations of the process. This was the second store I stopped at. The first one (not a Jared's) quoted higher prices for the repair but had a textbook drop-off process (what the jewelry bloggers called the 'take-in') complete with a microscropic exam of the ring, detailed description of projected repair and digital photographs. Jared's take-in was disturbingly brief. They did have a repair counter behind glass with staff in lab coats but they seemed more showy than functional. I never interacted with them. My take-in was done by sales staff and the pre-repair exam was very cursory. There was very little documentation. I had to insist they reproduce the previous jeweler's description on their paperwork just to get some detail on their receipt. The pickup was no more professional. No documentation confirming the work they did was offered. I had to ask for a copy of the take-in document. I had expected a repair summary something like "Replaced the two missing stones with two... (here insert detailed descriptions of diamonds used in repair, including grade, size, etc)... Rebuilt prongs number ___, etc.. ". This was my first exposure to Jared and I left feeling unsure what was truly done and to what quality. read more
