For a business specializing in customer service and sales, this place is a joke. The new remodel makes it look super junky like it came straight from 2003. The gal who helped me today had zero personality, no want to understand my concern or disappointment in the extended repair time on my ring, and barely spoke 10 words to me in the 15 minutes I was inside the store. A horrid experience. I really hope my repairs are done well after 3 weeks having it. If not they'll be redoing it. A platinum ring should not snap the band while you're drying your hands on a dish towel. read more

Terrible service as in they only care about the money and what makes things convenient for them, I tried to return a gold chain I bought 2 days ago with the receipt and everything they couldn't do the return until I read them there own return instructions then they said they had no access to cash and come back in 2-3 days. I went back and all they said was there is still no cash in the open drawer only the closed ones and the vault but we can mail you a check in 7-10 business days. I had no problem buying it and the service when I was spending money there was decent, as soon as I go to return something everything just happens to go wrong.1/10!!! read more

At first site, you may think this store was closed since they have black tape across the hours on the front door and the glass is all weather like an abandoned building however, they are open for business and the hours listed online are correct. My wife bought me a diamond enhancer for my engagement ring for Christmas this year and I decided to have it soldered together. Since my ring is from Robbins Brothers in San Diego and the new band is from Kay, I decided to head to Jared (Kay's sister company) to have the work done. Just inside the door to the right they have a desk where you can speak to someone about custom jewelry design, jewelry repair, and soldering sets together. I dropped my ring off on a Friday and picked it up the following Friday and it was gorgeous! I think we paid about $140 for the work where they soldered three bands together and removed two little bars on the underside that were holding the two enhancer bands together. The following week I dropped my ring back off at Jared for an appraisal which was $150. Took approximately 3 hours and I received a beautiful appraisal report for my records and to forward to my homeowners insurance company. Could not believe it when the appraisal came it double what we were expecting. The whole experience was easy and pleasant! The store is gorgeous and everyone we came into contact with was so kind, helpful and knowledgeable! Happy to make Jared my new go to jeweler! read more

Only putting 2 stars because I don't want to fully affect the business. I watched as a lady was super rude to a delivery driver. He was trying to drop something off and the door was locked. I watched him look at his phone to probably handle the issue when all of a sudden this rude woman comes out to berate him for trying to leave the items outside. I mean how was he supposed to come in with the door locked. Oh and before they come on here and say the door was unlocked, no it wasn't. He was there before they opened and I watched him pull on the door. I think she was the manager. You need to be a lot kinder to the people that are providing a service to you. read more

Walked in with my fiancé, got nothing but dirty looks, was told they would get someone to help us, stood there for 25 minutes for them to ignore our existence and help anyone else that came in after us. In particular, I'm writing this review because I got a call today that they overcharged me because they had an inventory mistake, (put the wrong SKU on the diamond) and were offering a refund of the difference. Long time Jared customer (have purchased 5-6 diamond rings for my wife here previously and at a Jared in Honolulu). Visited the Woodmen store on 12/21/2024 to replace a lost wedding band. We were ignored by people (who were obviously not helping other customers) about five different times. Finally asked someone who was looking for something to do if we could look at some men's wedding bands...apparently you have to be a bridal specialist at this store to sell a ring. They couldn't find the bridal specialist (they thought maybe she was in the bathroom). They finally found her, told her we were waiting and the bridal specialist finally appears and helps the customers who had just walked up to where we had been sitting for the last 15 minutes waiting for help. We looked at each other and decided to look elsewhere. Went to Helzberg and was assisted immediately. Purchased the ring I wanted and was out within 5 minutes. Don't buy from Jared. Bought expensive Tacori ring (considered a higher end ring for them) and it's has been an absolute nightmare from day one. After 30 days of wear it is tarnished and looks like crap. Tacori/Jared claim it's bc the batch was different and just part of buying a ring. Any time it goes for service - it's gone for 4 or more WEEKS. For a higher end ring a service time of 1-2 months is unacceptable. Store originally lost ring and had to replace after a go around for weeks of where it was.... An absolute sh#* show at this store. Don't spend money here. Go anywhere else but here. Ring has warranty with Jared but I'll pay for service elsewhere before I go back. Ring looks awful. Jared doesn't care. Tacori doesn't care. read more

I called looking to purchase several extra links for my Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean, which is approximately 10 years old. Margo, who I can't say enough about how helpful she was, immediately contacted Omega in NY and tracked down the particular links I needed. These links are not a standard size and they are somewhat difficult to come by, so the extra effort Margot exhibited is all the more appreciated! When I further asked about having the shipment expedited, Margot said no problem and arranged to have my links shipped for a very reasonable fee so that I could have the links put in my bracelet before the weekend! From a customer service standpoint I couldn't have asked for a better experience, especially since I initiated the contact via telephone and not directly in the store. Going to this store on Christmas Eve was a mistake. The store was packed but the wait was minimal. My helper was amazing considering how busy they were. So my fiancee and I went to Jared today to look for a wedding band for me. When we walk in there was about 8 employees hovering like vultures near the front entrance. It was so uncomfortable that I about turned around and walked out. It felt like walking into a used car dealership. The people that greeted us ended up being very nice, but we still felt overwhelmed by there being so many of them. Well it doesn't get any less awkward... We are shown where the mens' wedding bands are and the associate that works that area comes over and greets me. My fiancee was already looking at the bands, and had her hand perched up on the counter while peering into the display case. The associate slides her hand under my fiancee's hand and shakes it. That really really creeped out my fiancee. Couldn't the associate wait a minute?!?! The associate is nice but completely clueless. She has to refer to manuals to tell us about the ring metals, and every ring that I try on she tells me "it looks awesome!" Really? I've been coming here since my grandmother bought me my first ruby ring in 5th grade. Just recently I purchased my husband's wedding ring here. We ended up finding out that he is allergic to his ring and they had no issues fixing it right away. Through and through I have found that the staff is great and very knowledgeable about what they sell. The quality is also fantastic. Their diamonds are stunning. Absolutely loved working with Kourtney. My husband built a beautiful emerald diamond ring with her assistance. The amount of time and effort she put in to perfecting it was astounding. We ended on a bit of a bad note. We went to pick up the GIA certificate and met Stephanie. I wanted to resize another ring. All of a sudden there were extra charges for going up in sizes. After spending something like $16,000, slapping on extra fees was kind of an insult. More over, we're active duty/medical with a one year old baby and live on the other side of town. She was trying to convince me I could drive across town after I get off work to pick up my resized ring before they closed at 2100 in the middle of the week. I left. read more

I went into Jared's with my grandmother's wedding ring in hopes of getting diamonds added to it or to add embellishment. The man we worked with was nice and although he was unsure of the capability of adding to the ring, we did come up with a compromise. I purchased an additional diamond encrusted wedding band to add to the existing ring while removing the original band. We paid for the labor and the new ring and was told it would be finished in 3 weeks. 3 weeks went by and we called to ask if it was finished since I would only be in town that week. They said yes, the ring was there and we could come and get it. We went in that day and the man there went through every drawer searching everywhere for my ring, and then asked who I spoke with. Then he came back to tell me they didn't know where the ring was. Then he proceeded to tell me he had other customers, but the ring IS done but it wasn't there. He said to come back Monday. So I called to see if the ring was actually there before going in on Monday and the same man said the ring wasn't there again. He also proceeded to tell me again "they had customers they needed to attend to". So I called back later and spoke with a woman and she must have told the manager we originally worked with because he did call to apologize. He said he would be there when we picked the ring up on Wednesday. Wednesday came and we walked in excited to see the ring, and a man we had never seen before seemed less than thrilled to see us. We gave him the receipt and he walked away. We assumed we should follow him, so we went over to the desk and he pulled out a clear packet with papers in it. He got on a tablet without saying anything to us and after a while we asked if the ring was even there. He said yes, it's right here, but I need to do something first and I need to photograph it. He seemed very perturbed we were there. We then asked if the extra wedding band that they took off of my grandmother's ring was also in the clear bag and he grabbed it to look, and started questioning whether that was actually ours or if it was in there by mistake. After he walked away to photograph it, he finally handed me the ring on his way back and then shoved a tablet in my face to sign so we could leave. I was shocked that he didn't care whether it fit or if I even liked the work that was done to it. They also gave us no documentation except for the warranty and the receipt. It seems to me when you are spending thousands of dollars at a jeweler that they should provide you with a ring box at the very least. This was my wedding ring, my one and only wedding ring - and there was no joy or good feelings about getting it. Instead I felt completely rushed and unwanted. The actual ring was done well, but the experience was absolutely horrible. I will NEVER recommend Jared's to anyone, especially this location. This is THE worst Jared that I have ever been to! I am extremely disappointed and upset about the way I was treated. My husband and I are from Ohio and came in to have my ring inspected during our vacation and to have the prongs checked (as a few of them feel sharp). The lady helping us, Cheryl or Cherylynn (something like that), couldn't find us in the system. She constantly asked if it was under a different number or name, after telling her no and listening to her many huffs, she goes to the computer and starts to look. To make a long story short, she was so rude and only found one purchase receipt in her computer for $1000 in our name. When we told her that obviously wasn't the one. She slid her iPad toward us and said, "well that's all I can find, you can look it up yourself"! I'm applaud that this is what one would assume a Professional!! It pains me that I have to give the one star!! We just got back from Jared's and couldn't be more disgusted with the treatment we received. We bought a setting from that place in 2016 and placed our diamond from another ring in it and bought their warranty. The sales jerk knew my wife and still fricken lied to us and said that the ring was going to be covered. We had taken the ring in every 6 months as required. We have had the diamond replaced twice already ( this would have been a third). After researching our account they came to the conclusion that " WE GOT OVER ON THEM!!" because the diamond should never have been replaced even once and that we should count our blessings because if they didn't sell us the diamond they don't cover it. Hence the lying salesjerk!! Anything to make a buck. I told my wife to forget this fn place their not going to help us. As we were leaving the B behind the counter says to my wife "if I was you I'd get on my hands and knees and search the area I think I lost it". ARE YOU FRICKING KIDDING ME!! Don't you think she did. Me and my boyfriend went in to Jared's to try and figure out what it would cost us to buy an engagement ring, we didn't have any intention of buying on the spot but in the end we decided to buy because it was such a good deal. I normally like to shop locally, but all of the local jewelers I wanted to check out are closed sundays (the only day me and my boyfriend are both off of work). I think it is really smart of Jared's to be open on Sundays given we live in a military town. The lady that helped us was named Margo and she was extremely helpful. She answered every odd/stupid question we had and she was very friendly. Also, being a sales person myself I always appreciate sales people who know how to get you what you need without being pushy or overselling you on something you don't need. We had a very limited budget (~$2000), but despite that there was actually a lot of selection in our price range. They have and enormous inventory. I was pleasantly suprised that all of their prices seemed to be much lower than the prices at some other chain jewelry stores and based on what i saw online. Their insurance plan in very nice and VERY cheap for the value. For my ring it was only $140 (it's a one time cost) and that includes free repair of damage, replacement of lost diamonds, and free cleanings FOREVER! Based on what some of my friends have told me about they insurance they bought for their rings, this is a very good price for a very valuable service. All that is required of me is that i bring the ring in for inspection every 6 months, and given that Jared's is a chain, no matter where I might live in the future this should be really easy to do. Also their financing is very quick and easy. It is done directly through them and it works pretty much like a credit card. However, if you put 20% down on your purchase there is no interest for a whole year which is really nice. I did think they should have had some kind of special military financing financing given the location, but their financing was so good we didn't really miss it. Overall I strongly recommend Jared's, we had a very good experience there, and as an added bonus, free Cappucinos for customers. We will definitely go back to buy my fiance's wedding band. read more

I recently went into store to have three of my rings re rhodium dipped and had a pair of screw back diamond earrings that one had come apart in shower. i thought was lost but later that day found it on shower floor, but was afraid to wear until checked out by Jared. Katelyn helped me and was awesome. She cleaned and checked earrings said they were fine maybe grooves had been blocked but cleaned out in ultrasonic. I am not one to leave a bad review unless it is REALLY warranted. I have been to this location multiple times for repairs of the same ring under warranty. Regardless of who is working, they act as if it is an inconvenience to them that you have stepped foot in their store. They are under staffed and have no urgency to assist the multiple customers waiting-again, occurring with every visit. To make matters worse, this is all something I have to deal with as a result of buying a ring from them in the first place that has had multiple issues. I ended up getting a semi-custom band for my engagement ring, every time I went in the store to see how my ring was coming along I was always greeted by very friendly and knowledge sales associates. Bryan helped me out most of the times I was in the store and he was always super friendly, very patient and wanted to make sure I was 110% happy with my new ring. Big disappointment. We took in my wife's diamond ring fairly regularly for the 6 month inspections and cleaning for years. One day the diamond fell out and got lost and we were 2 months overdue for inspection. Even though it was inspected 8 months earlier they wouldn't stand by the loss guarantee. Somehow they didn't notice the prongs that hold the diamond were dangerously worn and didn't bother to proactively tell us they were worn or offer to fix it. Don't buy the warranty and buyer beware with these folks. read more

I have had an account with Jarod for several years and have always had good experiences but this last one was pretty disappointing. I needed to get a pendant repaired and my wife wanted to buy a replacement gold chain for a necklace I bought her at that location. I was helped fairly quickly by the repair counter but no one helped my wife the entire time it took them to look at, estimate the repair, ring up the transaction. I walked over to my wife and we waited several more minutes and watched people get helped that arrived after we did. Very poor attention by them. If they can't keep track of who arrived first or how long someone had been waiting, they need a system in place to address that. read more

By far the worst customer service, or should I say lack of service! I went in to purchase Pandora charms and knew which ones I wanted, one of which they would not have until November. Two females approached me and when the first charm was unavailable they both walked off. What the heck is that! I was extremely disappointed with my brief encounter with Jared. I had a loose stone in my engagement ring and needed it resized so it fit a little bit better. I called Jared first to see if they serviced rings that weren't bought through them since they were closer than the jewellery store that it was bought at, the sales woman advised they did. I arrived at the store they took my ring (without asking if I was trying to resize it larger or smaller or where the loose diamond was) into the back when the sales lady returned she advised that they weren't able to do anything with my ring. When I inquired why, the sales lady said "that's just what I was told by our repair team" She made no attempt for further assistance and actually had the audacity to act like I wasted her time. I will never shop at Jared and I will tell my family and friends to avoid them as well. read more
