Quick easy and very nice to grab and go a nice dinner after work etc. The soup is to die for!!!

The buffet wasn't fresh. Food was cold. Service was ok but didn't want you to order of menu wanted you to do buffet.

I'm sorry, but this place was an absolute disaster. I normally don't do buffet, especially after my Marine Corp stint! The place was crowded,, but I expected it. There is no way this place deserves only 3 stars average. This is one of the cleanest Chinese restaurant I've been to, and the buffet is definitely the freshest I've encountered. The staff and owner are friendly as well. So how's the food you ask? Freaking fantastic. The general chicken and cashew chicken are mtfavorites and they're delicious, especially the general chicken. The chicken fried rice and noodles are great. I also enjoy the crab rangoon and egg rolls. There are several others options that are good as well but not too many to where they can't keep it all fresh like some places. Plus ice cream for dessert. You can't go wrong here I'm telling you. The food buffet at Jasmine is varied from regular American fare (breaded shrimp), to different Asian dishes. They are well prepared, and with the amount of traffic during serving time, it has been the freshest buffet I've been to. With the number of customers eating at peak times the service can be average at best. When the place isn't packed with people you will find the service excellent. Good luck finding it not packed with people, enjoying the reasonably priced fare. For a town the size of Bolivar it is a great option to fast food. read more

Ok so there were a lot of negative reviews about this place but they must have new owners because I saw nothing negative. It's very nice decor clean and classy. The wait staff seemed too busy to refill our glasses but the buffet was really good. If they had a Mongolian grill it would be my new favorite place. Service was next to non existent. Buffet was small, and some of the choices were empty and not refilled during the time we were there. The beef broccoli tasted more of fish sauce than beef or broccoli, and there was next no no beef slices in the dish. The garlic chicken as well as the cashew chicken were pretty good. The Lo Mien noodles was over cooked and gummy. The vegetables were perfectly cooked but sparse. The meatballs and mushrooms were good, there were a couple of the mushrooms in the dish slightly undercooked with raw centers. The atmosphere was sparse and uninviting. Stopped because the parking lot was full. That is usually a good sign. After eating here I can only wonder how bad the other restaurants in the area must be. The servers were very nice. But I sampled seven different dishes from the buffet. Every one of them were overcooked, dry, and extremely salty. The rice was gummy. The selection on the buffet was poor. When visiting family this last weekend they recommended Jasmine's and I was so excited to try it. I love Chinese food. We were about half way through our meal when we noticed a bug on the table. Upon further inspection turns out the bug was a Bed Bug. We even looked up a picture of the bug to confirm. We immediately stopped eating and took the dead bug up to the older lady at the front desk which ended up being the Owner. She stated that they clean every week and have not had any issues with Bed Bugs. She did say they had several other people mention the Bed Bugs. They ended up taking off one of the buffets from our bill. We will never return. read more

This is a pretty good buffet for Bolivar. It's not as nice as some of the Springfield buffets, but it extremely clean with a nice atmosphere, lots of options and reasonably priced--all of which are rare for a Chinese buffet. It's probably the best Cashew chicken in Bolivar. read more

Good selection on the buffet. Food is good. Ginger sauce is good. Sweet and sour sauce left much to be desired. 3 kinds of rice and low mien noodles too. Place was busy but we didn't have to wait. Good Chinese buffet. If you want more authentic Chinese food you can go to China King across the street but if you want to eat at a Chinese buffet without driving to Springfield then you can't beat this place. read more

Ordered Kung Pao Chicken - pot stickers - Cream Cheese WonTons. Order was to go. When I got the food home everything was cold and old. The food was obviously taken from the buffet. Pot Stickers were dried out & cold. I called to speak with the manager. 1st the woman said the manager was out. I asked for an owner. She stated that there was no owner. I asked as to when the manager would be in. She then stated that there was no manager. She also charged me for Sweet & Sour sauce for the Cheese WonTons - It comes with it !?!?!?!?!?!?!? You've got to be kidding me !!! I told her about the poor product and how it was cold ( I only live 2 minutes away from the restaurant) She said that the food was hot when she put the order together. Then she began to argue with me... Dead end. Bottom line... Poor product Unbelievably Poor Service Try any other Chinese restaurant in Bolivar. How could it be worse ? I will gladly drive to Springfield than go to this restaurant. read more

Food is just okay. Food is often cold and old on buffet unless you are there right when it comes out of the kitchen. Sticky floors. People groping through the food on buffet is gross. Ewww. People seem to like the all you can eat idea of this germ sharing buffet in Bolivar. If you like food that sits out all day and is picked through while served cold? This is your place. But hey! I give this place a 4 star for FRIDAY AND SATURDAY ONLY! It seems like the only time they really care about their product are those two days. Those are the only two days they have the full buffet open. The food is good. I've had bad experiences and good at this place. And the good outweigh the bad. My husband and I are big fans of this place. The food is always fresh and good. The owners are very grateful and nice people. The staff is very attentive. The restaurant is always clean. Just wish it had more privacy. It's mostly open and noise travels. Everything else is great. We go here a lot! read more
