At the behest of a co-worker, I made an appointment at Restoration Massage for the $35/one hour massage special for new clients and have been blown away by their dedication, service and skill since. My first appointment was with a decent masseuse who is no longer at Restoration, but my kudos have to go to Lisa, the owner. In the past when I've told massage therapists that I prefer "firm" pressure they either continue as they were and ignore me or go way too hard. Lisa knew just what I wanted and she communicated with me through out our session to make sure I was feeling good and comfortable. The therapists at Restoration also check in with you before and after your session (both times when you're clothed and off the table) to see how you're doing and what you'd like/ how you felt the session went. They're still running their new client special, if you haven't gone there yet make an appointment before they stop running it, it's totally worth it.
