I had a weird experience at this location. My fiancé and I went and got pedicures and I also had an acrylic set done. My fiancé asked me to tip my lady with cash and he on the card for the other. To keep things simple. The lady that was doing my nails started being more aggressive with my nails and said she was not feeling well.. I asked if there was anyone else that could finish my set and she said no and asked why my fiancé only tipped her so much. After waiting an hour and hey didn't have time to get to the pedicure I wanted. $60 for an acrylic rebase is ridiculous when I paid $55 for a full set including length and shape and gel. The polish Change since they now didn't have time to do was $32. I was quoted $30 for a gel polish change. Only after questioning the price did they charge $25 for a rush job by an amateur. I brought my 68 year old mother in for a manicure. I was getting a pedicure while she had her manicure. Her manicure lasted 8 minutes. The technician filed her nails and then painted them with one coat of polish and then told her to come sit by me. I asked why they did not trim her cuticles and give her a hand massage that's typically included in a manicure. The woman said "she handed me the polish so I thought she just wanted them painted". I said "no, and you never even asked her what type of service she wanted. Can you please fix this?" She said, "no I have another appointment and walked off". I used to love this place but I am very disappointed in my last several visits. To remove my acrylic set the nail tech took a plastic tip and stuck it between my real nail and the acrylic and wedged it off. It hurt Extremely bad! She did this even after I asked to soak my nails off. That was my Final straw to begin looking for a new place. I was told by professionals that is the worst thing that a nail tech can do to your nail. And from the pain that I still feel I know that this is true. I don't know if it's because they have gained business but to treat your clients like that is unacceptable. I tried this place since its closer to me and I wanted to save myself the drive to downtown. They were able to fit me in for an appointment jn the afternoon and the place was very busy. I asked for a dip & tip removal, dip with tips, a french with gel design and a manicure. I was greeted but never offered a drink or anything which I feel like is pretty standard for most nail salons. I felt a little uneasy about the appt out the gate because he asked me if I wanted to keep my length and I informed him once again that I have tips on and that yes I want them removed and to have new ones put on. I showed him a picture of how I wanted my nails done with the length and shape. He then shaped them not like the picture so I asked him to try to mimic the picture more. He then gave me some pink colors to choose from and he was so rushed to start that he only let me look at the color with one hand which is hard when youre looking at 50+ colors on a key ring. I noticed he wasnt doing my cuticles so I asked him if he could and he said $5 more which is fine since thats what I asked for when I made my appt so there seems as if there wasnt any communication about my appt. Before he did my white french tip I noticed the tips of my nails were uneven. Some were pointy, some were flat and round so I asked him to make them uniform. Many people were walking in and I could tell that he just wanted me to get out of his chair so he could move onto the next appt. However ill pay for their time and skill if the business is concerned about money. Increase your prices so that you dont have to push people in and out and that its a relaxing experience for the customer. I have been coming here pretty much since they opened and loved it. However, I went on 4/30/22 and brought a friend and did not enjoy my time there. The gal who did my pedi and nails was very rude and rushing herself. Granted, she is talented and I do think my nails look okay, however her customer service was poor and not what I have experienced before. I had my legs crossed while she was doing my nails and she told me to uncross them. She was rough on my fingers and when I would flinch or even say it was painful she disregarded me. Ran across the little gem on the map app i was using and noticed there weren't many reviews due to it being new. The reviews that are there -are true, it's clean. They have every precautionary measure in place due to Covid. There's plexiglass on nail stations as well as movable ones for pedicures. I hated my previous set so i soaked them off and got a new set. So I decided to get my nails done. I saw the reviews and was expecting a very great experience but it was the complete opposite. First of, I called about 3 hours before to make an appointment. When I get there they didn't even greet me or take my temperature. I sat down then finally they decided to ask what I was in there for. I told them I had called and had an appointment at 3:30, when I arrived it was about 3:20pm. I got helped literally at 4:05pm. All I wanted was an over lay with regular polish. The lady that helped me out didn't have a name tag and I didn't ask for her name. But she was very rough on my nails. When she was filing them she was burning me. She kept filing in the same place over and over. I did ask her if she could be more gentle just because it was very uncomfortable and painful. She didn't listen. At the end she did a horrible job. I asked for square nails and definitely did not get that. My cuticles were not worked on. The price was over rated. I got charged $40 plus tip! Once my nails were "done" the lady had me sit there with out a fan or UV light. Also she accidentally hit my nails with her hand and messed my nail polish and when I asked her to fix it she went to the back and was there for over 20 minutes. I kept asking the other workers about my nails they kept walking by to see them and talking Chinese to each other but no one would fix it. Finally another lady came to re due those 2 nails. I'm so sad to write this review because I've had two people refer me to this salon, but unfortunately my experience was not great. I made an appointment for me and my mother. We both wanted a pedicure and I wanted a dip and my mother wanted just a clear top coat on her natural nails. Our pedicures were fine but the cost for our fingers was outrageous. My mother was charged $35 for just a clear gel top coat which is so crazy for not getting a base coat or color under that top coat. She also had to reshape her nails when she got home. As for my dip; I usually get longer nails in an coffin shape but this time I decided a little shorter and oval because I know shops have been charging a length fee. So today the lady asked if I wanted to keep them long and I said no so she cut them down short and made them oval. When I went to pay they charged to remove my dip, which I've never been charged for before in the three years I've been getting them done monthly, and charged extra for the length fee which again I got them shorter than I've ever had before. So what was supposed to be a $40 service was $55 ($5 for removal, $5 for "length" and $5 for I have no idea what? So long story longer, ask about pricing before getting anything done!!! I don't mind paying for services but as I'm in the same industry I like to inform my clients of prices and I myself like to know as well. So just ask up front so you're not surprised. read more

WORST NAIL SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED IN 10 YEARS. If I could give NEGATIVE STARS I would. Where do I begin. Went to them because they were new and close to my sister's house. This was in December 2020 for my birthday nails. I saw the Yelp coupon for the new client so that pushed me into giving them a try. Upon starting my pedi, the tech said my feet looked bad and that I really needed their Deluxe pedi. I did not want to and after a few minutes of her pressuring me I did. I could literally post a picture of my feet, they've never been "bad". A little dry because of winter, but I have very nice soft feet. I also have my acrylic finger nails done and when the polish was done it was bubbly and you could see streaks after I paid for the upgraded shellac. I then proceed to pay a ridiculously high price. The tech LIED to me. When I showed her my nail coupon from Yelp she said they didn't take Yelp coupons and didn't work with them. Funny enough, the next day the Yelp coupon was removed!??? Okay, clearly they work with Yelp and removed it. SO she LIED to me the customer and the other techs who saw agreed with her. Horrible service. The new client Yelp coupon was what drew me to the place. To top if off, within 1.5 weeks, one of the acrylic nails broke off. For being expensive, pressuring me, crappy nails, and LYING to me?!!! Will never be going back. And it wasn't just me! My sister went for the first time 1-week later and she too was outraged by the quality of her nails and how much was charged for such crappy service. We have since moved nail places and will NOT be going back. Way better quality for lesser price. Should have left this review back in December but had a family emergency.
