All I knew was that I was miserable and a bit fearful of my first session. Of course, Jasmine made me feel at home. Her place was so beautifully decorated, warm and inviting. Upon meeting her, you get the sense that Jasmine truly has a passion for what she does. I would later realize that this type of specialized post-operative massage is like art...session after session she would further sculpt and mold my curves revealing a figure that was hidden under a swollen mess. She incorporated so many different techniques and treatment modalities that I think it would be impossible for the untrained professional to achieve such superior results. In fact, when I saw my plastic surgeon 1 week post-op she was in awe of how smooth my skin was and how beautifully contoured I looked so soon after surgery...to which I credit Jasmine. As a consumer looking for a new product or service I rely upon those who have previously utilized the service to determine if I should "take the leap" and trust the review of a stranger that may or may not be 100% truthful in their review because of skewed expectations. I had cosmetic surgery almost 2 weeks ago and my surgeon suggested lymphatic drainage massages in the area where lipo was performed but didn't offer any suggestions of who to go to since I was coming from a different city. Let me preface this with the following; I have Rheumatoid arthritis, Sjogrens, and hypothyroidism. suffice it to say my body is holding onto to trauma, guilt and a bunch of other emotional situations i e yet released. I NEEDED someone who can look at me and know where to go.......I went in with lower back stress, tightness throughout my body thinking that the issues was in my lower back and Jasmine pin pointed where the issue really was, my knees!!! Most massage therapists make you choose between deep-tissue massage, lymphatic massage, hot stone massage, etc. With Jasmine, you get it all! She uses every tool in her tool belt, and I mean that literally. She literally wears a tool belt! I came in with a bad hip I'd been limping on for months, and a messed up shoulder. I'd had cortisone injections in both joints, but I knew I needed more care. Jasmine warms up your muscles first and does lymphatic massage (which is very light). By the time she really gets to working on your muscles and tendons, she doesn't have to use so much pressure, but it's super effective. My muscles were loose, but not sore at all! Jasmine also uses a TENS unit and other devices to get your muscles and tendons back to how they should be. She's very much a massage therapist & a PT all in one! Jasmine got my shoulder blade flipped back the right way, loosened up my leg & released a huge knot I had near my knee (created by my limping), and had my usually-incredibly-knotty upper back feeling like butter. She also got my neck moving better than the chiropractor does. (And as a bonus, my shoulders, arms, and leg muscles looked more defined. I even looked thinner in the after photos!) Support Your Lymphatic Massage Post-Op with These Tips *Drink plenty of fluids. I can never stress this enough. Drink plenty of clean, mineral-rich water before and after your massage for the best results. *Eat a healthy diet. Nutrient-dense foods also support your body from the inside out. Grab fruits and vegetables (especially those on my top lymphatic friendly foods list) and chow down before your surgery. *Don't stay on the couch or in the bed. After your surgery, and more importantly after your massage, it's tempting to stay in bed or on the couch, but you actually need to move. Movement, such as walking, helps pump the lymph fluid and is supportive to your healing process. If you feel tired after your session, then honor your body by resting, but remember to incorporate some type of movement that is comfortable for you at the different stages of your healing process.  And, of course, always follow your Doctor's direction. Most experienced and beneficial massage I have ever received. I found Jasmine after having plastic surgery (Fat transfer/Brazilian butt lift) and I honestly couldn't imagine my body without her expertise in this field. Was in Tampa for a basketball tournament and was in need of some therapy for a bum knee and lack of mobility in my shoulders. Came across Jasmine through Yelp and scheduled an appointment as soon as I could. I booked online and chose a sports massage but when I got to her office, Jasmine geared the whole session to treating my ailments and explaining each step/procedure she was doing. This was very well received by me as I like to know what is going on. Jasmine has an amazing bedside manner and an even more amazing personality. My wife booked an appointment with Jasmine as a gift for me. I am former military, have spent many years overseas and have developed quite a few issues with tightness and mobility. I have wanted to get a deep tissue/sports massage for sometime and have been hesitant because generally massage therapists do not give strong enough massages and leave unsatisfied. Jasmine was the exact opposite; don't be fooled by her small stature! I'm a pretty muscular in shape guy and after this massage, not only did I feel a ton looser but also she put me asleep.... What really sets her apart from everyone else is she loosens the tension from your body right when you get there with her immense humor and sweetness and follows it up with a "warm-up". I was suffering with a back ache/pain for 2 weeks. I thought it was a muscle strain so I found Jasmine on google to help alleviate the injury. I don't get regular massages, even though I should since I workout often. She usually doesn't work on Saturdays, but she graciously accommodated my request and I had an 8 AM appointment! She has a nice office and a relaxing massage room. She started massaging me, and before you knew it she popped a rib back into place!!! Little did I know, the pain I was feeling was due to that.
