This is a nice little store that has jewelry ranging from $40 to $10,000 or more. Mother was visiting, and we were walking around down town. My wife wanted to go in and look around, my mother and wife love shopping. The owner was super nice, my mom was asking all sorts of weird questions since she makes a lot of crafts and more into how it is made than what it is. The owner was super cool and entertained all the questions that were driving me crazy. Really cool dude... My wife found a silver anchor necklace she really liked, we ended up picking it up, and the guy was very professional. While enjoying a beautiful day in Newport, RI with my family, we found a boutique Jewelry store called Jason & Co. We went in just to browse and quickly discovered that this was no ordinary or typical jewelry store. They have so many unique and beautiful pieces for men and women from many designers. We spent better part of an hour in there and became friendly with Jason who turns out to be the owner/proprietor. Super nice guy who was super friendly and knowledgeable. While talking with Jason, I couldn't help but notice the cable style stainless steel & 14k gold bracelet he was wearing. It was drop dead gorgeous and I knew I had to have one! Jason went on to tell me that it was a custom piece he had made for himself. I felt a little awkward asking him my next question but I did anyway which was "would you mind if I tried your on your bracelet? Without any hesitation, he immediately took it off his wrist and allowed me to try it on! It was a little too small for my wrist but close enough for me to see how it looked on me. Now I really had to have this bracelet! I asked him if he had one avail in the store in my size and he repeated that it was a custom made piece so no, none in the store. He must have seen the disappointed look on my face because he quickly said, "if you really like it, I can have the same exact one custom made for you". I jumped at the chance! It took little less than 3 weeks, and Jason called to tell me my new custom (two of a kind) bracelet was finished and was ready for shipment! It arrived within two days and my heart was pounding with excitement as I methodically opened the box. There it was, exactly as I had seen it in his boutique and this one fit me perfectly! My entire experience working with Jason was phenomenal. Friendly, knowledgeable, willing to go out of his way, not pushy like most jewelers can be, very affordable prices and great communication throughout the process. I really feel like I found a friend in the jewelry business and someone who I can trust for many years to come. Can't wait to return to the store this summer! I was visiting Newport for my anniversary, and when my husband decided to go into another store he told me to check out the "Pandora" store. When I went in I felt immediately comfortable. The two women greeted me promptly, and let me look around. They did not make me feel like I had to have a reason to be there, they just let me browse. When I was ready the young lady working was there to answer my questions. I had been looking for an evil eye Pandora charm. It was here I found it. Everywhere else you could only get this on line, but this store had exactly what I was looking for. They also had other pieces of jewelry that were not Pandora, but were just as pretty.
