This is my full update review (I have removed my prior). TL;DR at bottom…read more I saw Doctor Chimes around one year ago for intense hip and back pain. Right away, it was clear he cares more about his personal time than his patients. He told me he wanted yes or no answers and not explanations to his questions (and wouldn't really let me explain things in full even when it would clarify things). After my MRI, which showed multiple spinal issues (bulging, herniated, parse defect, which is a fracture) and bursitis in the hip, he gave me a shot for the bursitis that had already begun healing on its own. During this time, I continually try to tell him the pain is not in the location of the bursitis anymore. He continually ignores or even speaks over me. At the end, I am again trying to tell him I feel pain elsewhere in my hip even though there is a little reduction after the shot (but I was numbed, so of course it would hurt less). To test my pain, he had me stand up from my chair...once. Worse, when we were done and I was alone in the room, when I tried to get up to put my pants on, the pain was so intense I collapsed. This pain happened again when I got home and tried to take one step up the stairs. During our last appointment, instead of listening to me, he tells me "Your pain doesn't match the MRI", and that tells me I'm about to be dismissed, but then it got worse. He continues with, "In his professional opinion, you just need internal pelvic floor PT". Why? Because I'm a woman...and he asked me 2 or 3 YES or NO questions around sex and did not let me explain the answers... I told him I didn't think so, but he disagreed. Well, after speaking with a Pelvic Floor specialist, she disagreed with his assessment. So, instead of doing that, I went to Evergreen Sports and Spine and met with a new doctor who actually took my pain seriously. With his help and a new PT, another MRI of my hip WITH contrast (he was surprised that Dr. Chimes didn't order contrast as it's needed for specific tears in the hip), we found that I had a CAM Morphology, that should have been showing up on my other X-rays and MRIs, but apparently weren't spotted and/or reported...and that I had a tear in the Labrum of my right hip. Later, they also found I had a small pincer as well. So, a double impingement. I had to have surgery because the surgeon I spoke with next agreed that the tear was too large to not do surgery if I wanted to not be in pain. No arguing. No trying to talk me out of it. They immediately agreed it was the best course of action. I had surgery April 2nd of 2024 to remove my CAM and the Pincer they found, and then repair the labrum. While I'm still in recovery, my pain is down 80% of the time outside of flareups when I over exercise during my strength training. I would never send a woman to him, as she will be dismissed. I was in so much pain that I was crying after collapsing at the office during my last visit. The only reason I am giving this location a 2-star is because the women at the front were incredibly nice. This review is leaving out a lot of other smaller issues I had during my short time there. Maybe if you're a man, it'll be worth it, but if you're a woman, go elsewhere. I cannot, in good faith, recommend this office or Dr. Chimes. TL;DR, Dr. Chimes ignored what I said and then gave a sexist course of action due to my gender. New doctor 2 months later discovered the issue and that I needed hip surgery to remove two bone defects and a tear in my labrum. I have now had surgery and am doing well in recovery with a large reduction in pain.

As they had an opening, I was almost immediately accepted into the private room. Facilities are clean, welcoming and efficient, albeit a bit small, but that is probably a plus. Quieting and comfortable. Dr Julie Duncan is very good, very professional and thorough. Open minded as well, to inquire and discuss anything. Very pleased. I would also mention the electronic system they used (MyChart) is quire convenient. Worked wonderful so far, and Dr Duncan is exceedingly efficient posting notes for me to check up the same day. Once my doctor retired they wanted to send me to three or four doctors to get the same meds I have been taking since 2007. To make it worse, I tried to get an appointment with an Overlake general practitioner for four months and have been waiting. Not to mention the other doctors they want to book me with for existing and long term meds with no intervening issues. I am convinced that this clinic is operated in a rigid and very non-holistic way, asking you to see a different doctor on different days IF you can get an appointment without waiting months, in order to bill as much different services as possible. I have literally been out of prescribed medication for two months and they refuse to refill even though I have been available to see the new doctor the entire time. The bureaucracy here is like nothing I have dealt with and l've used some of the best practitioners in the country, including in Los Angeles where everything was managed in a seamless holistic way with one provider who was there to deal with the ongoing and normal needs of the patient unless a bee issue arise and you need referral. Overlake is a big business with big bills and a big bureaucracy that will try to send you to four doctors for four medications (if you can get an appointment) even though you're medical history has not changed and your condition is perfectly stable. When I advised them I as having bad side effects from abruptly stopping a medication due to doctor retirement the reply was sorry you have to see try new doctor even though I can't get an appointment for months. Imagine seeking an appointment in February and being told we can see you in May. Stay away. Don't forget these are the corporate vultures who were in a scandal during Covid when they provided scarce Covid vaccines to their rich Bellevue donors. That's how they operate.

Before that time, I was a patient of a large medical practice in Issaquah for over a decade. I've always tried to eat well and stay fit through exercise. So it has been frustrating that the story I've received every year at my annual checkup from my primary care physician at this large medical practice is the same: some of your biomarkers are higher than ideal and we'll just watch them. No further investigation, no analysis of underlying causes, no next steps at all. After I saw Dr Woodall, I learned for the first time that there were steps that I could take to address the underlying causes of my high biomarkers. The steps that I have taken include both medicines as well as nutritional supplements based on scientific knowledge and lab testing of vitamins and nutrients my body is not absorbing well. And I'm confident that the steps that I have taken will help me stay fit, active, and healthy as I move into an older stage of life. The doctors of the practice take a holistic approach seeking the root causes of ailments rather than merely addressing symptoms as seems to be the norm for many medical practices these days due. If you want to get ahead of health problems instead of dealing with them only after they arise, this is a medical practice that is highly worth investigating.

The billing department is impossible to get ahold of so I'm having trouble getting that charge reversed or talking to anyone about it. Dr Suh is nice and professional enough but this office seems to be solely about getting paid. I'm paying for the extra appointment, cutting my losses and taking my business elsewhere in the future. Update: Dr. Suh has responded and furthered my point about money being the primary focus for his practice therefore I am lowering this to one star. He also did not address my issues trying to contact billing which I've faced multiple times and see others have issues as well. I visited UW medicine for the first time yesterday where my new doctor spent 20 minutes with me encouraging me to ask questions and offered an app to communicate with between visits should I have questions. I felt cared for and comfortable.

I went to Dr. Galle after suffering for years with pain in my wrists from arthritis. I had nerve…read moretests done elsewhere and a hand surgeon in AZ suggested Carpel Tunnel surgery. Dr. Galle said I did not have Carpel Tunnel problem and the surgery done for the issues I had were painful and usually not successful. Not what I hoped for. He suggested having aa brace made that I could wear at night on both hands. I made an appt and came back the next week for a therapist ( not sure of her job title) to make the brace. I worn them every night for the first 4 months. I felt no pain during the day and I do woodworking and work in my yard a lot. I now go for weeks without wearing them and have no pain. It would probably be smart for me to wear the braces once or twice a week. They do not interfere with me sleeping and I am not a good sleeper. I wrote to Dr. Galle to tell him that this feels like a miracle. I had tried many ready made wrist braces and they helped a little but I always had pain. I will go back to Dr. Galle to see if the braces need to changed at all. They were molded to my hands and wrists and have soft moleskin inside where my protruding bones hit the plastic brace. Dr. Galle was empathetic and honest. I am so appreciive that he did not try to convince me to have a surgery that had a low chance of success .

He was very helpful and kind throughout the treatment process, showing me the x-ray progress and discussing the stages of the healing process. Now, I am about 8 months post-injury, and have full mobility and no pain. I had a great experience and would highly recommend!

This will prevent the possibility of fracture in the area. I remember on the day of surgery, when I entered the OR, instead of schmoozing with staff, he was reviewing the MRI and x-rays of my foot, and was busy making preparations to begin the surgery. The protocol he outlined gave my foot the best path for recovery post surgery. Six months have gone by and my incision has healed so beautifully, it would be difficult to tell which foot was operated on ! I have no pain, and I actively play pickleball, swim, bicycle, and walk for miles with no repercussion ! Great guy - and highly skilled podiatrist and surgeon ! Highly, highly recommend !!!!!
