The nurses and Doctors were great with my son. He came in there with pain and left with a smile…read moreand feeling so much better. As a mother we always worry and have so many questions, the staff answered them and even though was there for couple hours was worth it to have the proper care for my 7 year old son. So wanted to share that you guys rocked today with the care you gave my little baby with the Iv and he was so brave and only had to poke him once :) made sure he was comfortable. So thank you for making his experience that could of been scary a good memory of showing that the hospital he was born in take such good care of him. High five to all of you on Team Riley today!! Great job and thank you again.

I have been to Memorial Medical Center for 4 years since moving to Las Cruces, 3 times to ER. In…read morethe past, I lived in large metropolitan areas with multiple medical facilities. Memorial is old, but in general the facility is well kept and the service is excellent. In December, I had a triple bypass surgery in Memorial. I first spent 5 days on the fourth floor prior my surgery. My surgeon was Dr. Vitaly Piluiko, who recently retired. Him and his team were outstanding. Dr. Piluiko, visited me in my room every day prior my surgery. After surgery, I spent a few days recovering in the intensive care unit. Even the anesthesiologist came to check on me the day after my surgery! Yes, the hospital is a bit tired, but the care I received was outstanding. My only observation is that the food service company lacks of employees who understand what vegan meals are and they need to have a proper selection of options for vegans, vegetarians and pescatarians. The service is at the same level of what I experienced in large hospitals in San Antonio and Dallas Texas.

While I could write Millennium a review, this is specific for anyone looking for an exceptional…read moremassage therapist in Las Cruces/Rio Grande Valley (they can be so hard to find anywhere). I've been seeing Ivan Sarabia at Millennium for medical massage for 5 months (Jul-Dec 2018) and will continue to for as long as he's around. I see him frequently about once a week. I've made it perfectly clear with the company Ivan is the ONLY one that gets to work on me!! I've been getting massages for about 17 years from different licensed massage therapists in, out, and around the state. And, I have to say he's one of the best I've held on to (besides one other who is well established, knowledgeable, and seasoned in Albuquerque BUT does not have anywhere near the awesome bedside manners that Ivan has). I've had substantial trauma to the neck: 10 incidents of whiplash from accidents, a violent assault on the job, years of mixed martial arts (fighting, sparring, grappling). Lots of sciatica pain and hip issues. I'd been experiencing piercing, pinching, searing pains from the neck down my right side to my heel, pinched deltoid to tingling and numbing fingers. Pain and very limited range of motion was bringing me to brief periods of debilitation. Then, Ivan changed all that around. I'll add I was also doing decompression treatments to my C5, C6 vertebrae paired with Ivan's massages which assisted in deeper healing to the decomp, but now only do massages for upkeep. My sciatica issues have only undergone massage, and I can go for weeks without noticing pain. I don't have to go weekly but only choose to because he's that awesome, and I love rolling out of there feeling like melted butter (just sayin')! I've been able to go back to yoga, can return to kickboxing, weight training, hiking, I just recently had a 2-hour West African tribal dance lesson (and that's wild, full body movement!). Months ago, none of this was possible (sitting, walking, lying down, bending, working was all very difficult at times). Going in to see Ivan is like going back to your college anatomy class but with an easy-going instructor! You can learn about your body and understand exactly what he's doing! It hasn't failed (for me) every single time, Ivan has made me feel safe, comfortable, and puts me at ease when I walk in frantic and agitated in my day. This has always been important to me as I've navigated life with anxiety and have had PTSD. I need to have absolute trust knowing my massage therapist is competent, willing to be open to me, gentle, cares, actually listens to what I have to say, pays attention to their own instincts, etc. Furthermore, Ivan can carry a descent, worthwhile conversation if you require that, humor you, but is perfectly content in giving a completely tranquil and soothing massage without the distraction of talk especially when it's absolutely necessary. He has always followed my lead. I always feel "held" from the moment he places his hands on my back, prompts me to breathe, and then I can let it all go. He's mindful throughout the massage and seems to have an intuitive sense of what you need. His massages range from gentle/relaxing to slow (very) deep tissue. As added bonuses, he gives great hugs, is confident but humble, has a fabulous smile to brighten your day, and does amazing healing chakra work if you're into that too!!! Anyone (male or female) looking for a LMT who is well-rounded in so many respects, a person who is incredibly likable, and takes very good care of you, Ivan Sarabia is the one you've got to try out for your most needed healing!! Call Millennium, schedule him into your day soon! P.S. The massages only seem to get better and better! Blessings and may you find your restoration. BE WELL! :)
