I expressed how I was worried about falling asleep during it and she assured me that that was normal and often a good sign so not to worry. She also provided me with photos of book passages that related to different feelings I had which I really appreciated. I did fall asleep during the session but I felt wonderful and didn't regret it at all. It was a vulnerable experience but it felt good and I was proud of myself for sharing the space and time and of my body for responding.
