"Certainly the best anxiety therapist and depression therapist in Buffalo!"
If you are in the Buffalo area and are experiencing symptoms related to: Depression, Anxiety, Postpartum Depression, PTSD, ADD & ADHD, Concussion, Migraine, Chronic Fatigue, Emotional Trauma, Addictive Behavior, Reactive Anger, Seizures, Memory loss, or Post-cancer "chemo fog" - I can help.
The goals for our work are established when you answer this question, "How will you know when things are getting better for you?" Once we determine where the mind/body system is out of balance, I introduce you to a number of opportunities to support emotional and physical well-being.
Neurofeedback is increasingly recognized as a powerful and effective way to support healthy, robust brain function. The symptoms of traumatic brain injury-cognitive confusion, memory loss, explosiveness, insomnia, fatigue, light sensitivity, auditory sensitivity often improve following treatment with neurofeedback. ADHD, chemo-brain, anxiety, depression, OCD, rage and reactivity often respond well to neurofeedback, as well.
Hypnosis can bring relief to longstanding symptoms stemming from trauma experienced in childhood.
Each of these modalities empowers my clients to support their body's innate ability to heal itself, with innovative support. Call now to begin to begin the journey from "here" to "better."

Meet the Business Owner: Kathleen C.
Kathleen Calabrese, PhD has been serving families and individuals in the Western New York
community since 1985. Research has demonstrated that the success of therapy is almost
entirely dependent on whether the client perceives that the therapist is empathic, sensitive
and caring toward you and your struggles. Therapy is a co-created process. Trust yourself to
choose a therapist who will work to understand you and support you as you make your way
to the changes you desire.
Licensed in NYS as a Family Systems therapist, Dr. Calabrese has extensive experience
helping couples understand and change the relationship patterns that interfere with the
development of a loving and long-lasting relationship.
With the support of cutting-edge modalities: Neurofeedback, Photonic Stimulator, Mindfulness training, Hypnosis, and attention to the establishment of habits which reinstate health and well-being, Dr. Calabrese's clients achieve their goals and live more
satisfying lives.
