Cherise, our agent, undervalued our property according to other real estate agents. She was negligent in her responsibilities throughout the process. She did not follow up on whether the escrow money was in place within the time limit. We had to ask the title company. At that point the contract had been breached and the property should have reverted back to us, but Cherise only cared about her commission rather than her customer notifying the buyer who then wired the funds. As time went on, we felt she was not adequately representing us, but rather the buyer. We requested to speak with the broker Mr. Reece. Our request was ignored. I literally had to remind her of what she needed to do with respect to amendments to the agreement. We had issues with the buyer who for a second time breached he contract and asked Cherise what our options were. This request was also ignored as was a request for the written requests for extension from the buyer. Cherise did not follow the agreement, in fact seemed clueless to what it said. She accepted an unacceptable method of notification for a written extension and was clueless about the closing date requirements, as well as, when she needed to initiate and amendment to the Agreement. Mr. Reece was on copy to all the email communication. We requested a reduction in fee from Mr. Reece, the broker, based on inadequate representation and the fact we had to lead Cherise by the hand. That request was ignored. The title company stepped in at the end and took over assisting us. I have been through several real estate closings and I have never seen such incompetence in my life. This isn't sour grapes. I spent 26 years writing, negotiating, modifying and administering contractual agreements.

After initial conversation about redoing some of the photos, we were fearful that our concerns were not being heard. Then Kaitlyn, the main photographer and editor, went above and beyond to deliver us a product that met our needs. Smoke n Lenses photography is superb both in style and composition. Kaitlyn explained that she was initially trained in real estate photography and after discussing our needs for Airbnb photography, she was able to flawlessly capture the space in a way that guests would be able to envision themselves staying their for the holidays with their family. This was not easy. Our cabin has ALOT of wood, more than a normal cabin. Getting the right lighting, both in pre and post production is difficult. I was amazed at her superb skill to do so. Kaitlyn and Garett are budding Airbnb photographers with lots of talent and over half a decade of professional photography experience. They care deeply for their business and service to their customers. Being a business owner is tough but rewarding work. The water is extremely sulfurous- I would plan on brushing your teeth with bottled water. We were mostly at the cabin only to sleep and it was great for that. It is very accessible to the greater pigeon forge area. Again, the Bear Camp folks were great, answered our questions, and were very responsive so overall definitely positive. I would consider staying with Bear Camp again, maybe not in this particular cabin.
