I've given this place a couple of tries and have yet to be satisfied. Anytime I order the chicken in a sandwich its cold and dry making it even hard to swallow. I ordered the soup there and had to wait for them to reheat it, scraping the sides. The only reason I'd go there is for their soft serve ice cream. I had Jason's deli a lot since it was right across the street from my old office. One day I got a salad and soup and had food poisoning the rest of the day into the next. That was May and I didn't want to get sick again so I just avoided eating there. Today my boss offered to buy everyone lunch and everyone voted on Jason's deli since it's close. I figured I'd give it one more chance. When my food arrived at the office and I opened my salad to find brown avocados,I was less than pleased. I'm not talking brown like you cut them a few minutes ago and they started to oxidize, in talking brown like they should have been thrown away and never been served to a customer. I mean honestly don't you think that whoever was making the stupid salad would've though, hey these avocados look pretty disgusting, maybe I should do my job the right way and put something in here that is actually edible. I opted to just not even eat the salad - that my boss paid for out of their pocket - because I didn't want to worry about getting sick, for the second time from this place. read more

Jason's Deli is the one restaurant I missed the most when we moved up here from Texas. When I saw a JD's sign from the train when leaving Union Station, I went online asap and found that there are now 3 locations, with more opening soon. YIPEEEE!!! It's a bit of a drive from Downers Grove, but that will not deter me. The soups are amazing (especially the tomato basil and chicken tortilla), but it is the fabulous all-you-can-eat salad bar that keeps calling my name. Fantastic!!! Unlike any other!! I love the fresh sprouts, nut mixes and tiny cornbread muffins. Oh! and my dessert advice is to skip the ice cream and go for the creamy fruit over cottage cheese and sprinkle slivered almonds.... heaven!!!!!! Everyone I've taken there loves it, but they love the sandwiches as much as I love the salads, so they must be fabulous as well. Everything JD has is organic, too. :)!! The food is great here- I get the salad bar every time and I'm never disappointed. Also, I love that they have free ice cream because who doesn't want dessert?! While I do love the Jason's Deli chain, this is the worst location I've been to by far. The food was still great, but the staff was incredibly rude to my group of friends and I when we dined here. The employees looked down on us and made it seem like we were lesser than them. Definitely won't be coming back to this location. read more

We have been here two times, and have been pretty happy. We have tried the Po Boy (Italian version), some sandwich on a croissant with ham and bacon, chicken salad on a croissant, and the tuna pasta salad. The Po Boy was very flavorful and good. The bread was great. The ham and bacon sandwich was good, and the bacon was great. All sandwiches come with plenty of meat, and are generous with the sides. The tuna pasta salad was also good, but would be better if they used Albacore. The only disappointment we have had thus far was the chicken salad sandwich. I enjoy lots of different types of fruit and other things in my chicken salad, but this one had pineapple - which I think is a terrible addition. It overpowers the taste of the chicken, and is just generally, too sweet. A huge plus that should be mentioned, is that this place has an optional salad bat, which I will likely be trying again soon. It looked very fresh and appeared to have high quality options. This place is definitely worth a stop for lunch. read more

Average tasting turkey mufalatta, several varities and portions available for sandwiches, salad bar excellent although they were out of hummus and did not replace it. Counter gal said they ran out. What....not sure if I believed that or not. It looked like a good brand of hummus and most likely since they only had three hours to close did not want to open a new one. Tomato basil soup was good but a little oversalted. Prices are a little high for the quality of food. I can make sandwiches like this at home so I will definately go back for the salad bar and ice cream. read more

Good food ....very fast service and the people are very nice. The sandwiches are tasty but small. The free ice cream is a bonus.

Was excited to try this place as I've been looking for some "cleaner" eating options when eating out with my family. I went by myself and was just happy to be without my toddler. The food took a little longer than expected to come out. Alex, who works there noticed, came over, asked if I had received my food yet and promised to get it to me as soon as possible after I said I hadn't. I saw him hurrying to make the sandwich himself. When he came over, he brought an extra to take home because of the delay. Unnecessary but greatly appreciated, especially since my turkey wrap was simple but delicious. Overall, it was a great experience despite the slight delay in getting my food. Will definitely be bringing my husband and toddler back. read more

Eating at Jason's is an absolute pleasure. The menu is a unique break from other fast-food restaurants. Many of the menu items are vegan, vegetarian, etc. The food is always high quality with large portions, and the location itself is very sanitary and well-kept. The prices are extremely reasonable for the quality and type of food. In addition, the service is always quick and the employees are extremely attentive and courteous. Free ice cream for dine-in customers is also always a plus! I eat at Jason's roughly once a week and cannot think of a single complaint about the establishment. read more

I waited years for Jason's Deli to make its way to Chicago Land and was so pleased that they opened one in Naperville.

I am allergic to Gluten and Dairy. Jason's Deli has a FANTASTIC GF/DF menu. They are extremely careful about cross contamination as well - I have never had an issue eating there. This is one of my go-to restaurants that I know I can trust. read more
