The food is consistently good and made fresh right in view. I love all the options from noodles, various proteins, and sauces that they always seem to be adding to. I always get the japchae noodles as a base. The chickpeas are good with any of their veggies. You can't go wrong with any of the combinations. We both got a regular sized bowl with steak, purple rice and teriyaki sauce; I added carrots and sprouts. I have to say I wasn't interested in a lot of the toppings so this made this a slightly less desirable option, but the bowl ended up being really tasty so that elevated it again. There are several other proteins to pick from as well. Also, the regular size bowl is quite big so might get a small next time! The Naperville location of Bibibop Asian Grill seems inviting with a few tables on the outside. The staff greeted customers upon entering and stood patiently waiting as I reviewed the menu. There are plenty of options that are right there in front of you, very similar to a Chipotle. However there are a few bowls, that are their specialty and that's what I opted for. I know what I like but I was fine with trying one of their specialities. The surprise however came after I order when I say that there is a vat of Miso soup, for free. It's a help yourself there's a container and a lid type deal. The portions were fair and even if they weren't the Miso soup would help to make up for it. I visited this place after a month. The great customer service seemed to have gone down as well as some of the food quality. Right away, some of the employees had taken a couple of the booths so we had to sit elsewhere. I definitely won't get steak again because it seemed like they let it sit out too long. Steak was kind of rubbery and chewy. I should have stayed with the Korean bbq beef but I wanted to try other options. Everything else was the same. I don't recommend the complimentary miso soup, it's too watery and bland. Customer service was not as friendly as the grand opening. Overall, it used to be a 5 but now it's like a 3.5. read more

We might have to try eating in next time. I got a big bowl with chicken, sweet potato noodle base, broccoli, black beans, kim chee, kale, carrots, and gochujang sauce (all sauces are on the side), for $10.99. Overall, it was excellent! A good amount of food, very tasty. The gochujang sauce was a little diluted, but that was a good thing because it made it easier to spread around without becoming overpowering. The noodles had a nice flavor on their own, rather than just being a boring "base." The veggies all seemed fresh. The only minus was that the chicken was a bit mushy. But it tasted fine, and there was a decent amount of it. I may try a different protein next time. My wife got the spicy chicken in her bowl, which was otherwise similar. Her chicken was also mushy, so I guess that's just how they make it. She also liked hers a lot. Delicious food and a very good value. We'll definitely be back! read more

The people on the line aren't super friendly though and don't seem to listen to what items you're saying to put on your bowl. We had to repeat ourselves multiple times and point to everything we wanted. But overall, it was delicious and they just opened. So I know they're getting used to things. I heard about this new location from a friend, the grand opening is Thursday, February 22. However, they hosted a promotional event today. There's a lot to break down here. First off, the staff was incredible. They did a lot of work to ensure we had an enjoyable experience, they showed us the display, asked us friendly questions, and gave us a lot of information about this new location. Not once were they rude or seemed annoyed at our visit. Next, the food was phenomenal. The food was laid out similarly to Chipotle, allowing the customers to view the kind of food they offered. Down below is what I ordered. The flavors were powerful and interesting, and the vegetables tasted surprisingly fresh and felt like it was cooked recently. It was also incredible fast, similar to a fast food place, but the key difference was the quality. They also had miso soup, which was decent, I've had better, but the wow factor was the number of drinks they offered. It was phenomenal, the passion fruit lemonade was a little bit sweet, but the green tea was amazing, not to sweet but still good. I will definitely come again and recommend this to others. If you place an order at the wrong location, there is absolutely no way to fix it, you cannot change location, and you cannot cancel it.
