The thing I love about WCG is that you can get decent food and drinks at a very reasonable price. For a big bowl of tortilla soup, a cocktail, and a dessert, my bill came to $34 which included the tip. Those weren't Happy Hour prices. Just standard. My friend and I ordered n/a cocktails and they were only $7.50. When most places around here charge $15, the price of WCG's is unheard of in 2025. Even the spirited cocktails are under $9. My favorite dessert is the white chocolate brownie sundae which is $11, but pretty big and meant to be shared. While their regular entrees run about $20, you're definitely saving money on the drinks. I have waited a long time to finally try White Chocolate, and I went alone for dinner. I've been looking forward to this for a while. Unfortunately, I didn't take any photos during my visit, but I wanted to share my experience for anyone considering this restaurant. Unfortunately, the experience felt underwhelming. The cocktails tasted watered down and were served in hard plastic drink ware, think water glass, which didn't match the dining experience I expected. The "wedge salad" arrived as a stacked pile of chopped iceberg lettuce--no wedge and no balsamic drizzle. I asked for an actual wedge salad and the menu described a traditional Wedge Salad. When I asked my waitress about the style Wedge salad I was served, she said, "Oh, I'll ask the cook not to cut it up for you," which was confusing. What came back as a replacement was a small piece of iceberg, about the size of a large brownie--not a wedge. Really? So it is around $50-$75 a person to dine there - depending on if you buy drinks. For that much you can go to a much nicer place and get much larger portion sizes. These felt just right to me for a meal but expensive for the prices charged. Atleast at Italian and/or Steak you get bread service. So I will probably go back since we have the $100 gift card that we didn't use. But just to use up the gift card. Even if the service may not dine again - just because it is so expensive. We stopped in after a funeral. I was longing for an espresso martini and some good food. We started with a Moscow mule, an espresso martini, a Spicy margarita and a John Daly. The drinks were refreshing after a long hard day. We moved on to dinner. I enjoyed their special of Ahi poke nachos. Delicious and a nice tang. One had quesadillas-large platter and very tasty. This restaurant has a very rustic but elegant feel, much a more approachable Wildfire. We started with chips and guacamole (fresh avocado, tomato, red onion & cilantro. Served with warm tortilla chips & oven roasted salsa). The guacamole was very fresh with large chunks of avocado. I love that it also came with salsa. When we ran out of chips, I started eating the guacamole with my fork. For an entree I got the BBQ bacon burger (smoked bacon, BBQ sauce, shredded cheddar & diced onion) with honey roasted carrots. I ordered the burger medium but it came well done. The burger was still juicy. I enjoyed how the BBQ sauce came on the side. This saved my hands from becoming a mess! I think overall this place has some decent food and drinks but it's hit or miss. The service was decent as well considering it was Mother's Day. I strongly recommend avoiding the prickly pear margarita and I would avoid the ribs & rotisserie chicken. The grilled chicken sandwich wasn't a hit with my son either. See below pictures of their idea of a "half rack of ribs" bones next to a single fry for size comparison. I've also never had a rotisserie chicken that was dried out. The prickly pear margarita had some kind of soda water in it that made it carbonated which was abnormal. Yes, I ate the ribs. Now let me tell you, as a firm believer in white chocolate is the least favorable chocolate, this restaurant has won me over. The desserts were SO delicious, I couldn't stop eating them. After Chocolate Sanctuary in Gurnee closed, I've been on the lookout for another amazing dessert spot. Though there isn't chocolate mixed into every dish here, White Chocolate Grill fulfills the needs of providing a delicious meal along with delicious desserts as well. The prices here are a bit higher, though not unreasonable for this class of restaurant -- which is justified by the quality of food that you're getting, the classy interior, and top notch service. I would definitely come back here again for a special occasion as this was a great experience from start to finish and the seating was quite comfortable to sit in for an extended period of time. As I mentioned, the food here is delicious. The fresh guacamole I tried had a great contrast between the fresh and creamy avocado and the earthy oven roasted salsa. This was served with perfectly thin and crispy chips. As one who eats both of these items quite a bit, I was surprised both at the depth of flavor and freshness in both of these dipping options, as I was expecting a fairly standard version of both. The BBQ Bacon burger was cooked to perfection -- as good as some of the amazing versions available at higher end burger restaurants in Chicago. The patty was perfectly juicy and cooked a light sear on the edges. The smoked bacon and cheddar provided a good amount of saltiness and extra fat while the mix of BBQ sauce and diced onion helped to prevent the entire burger from feeling too salty or fatty. The rotisserie chicken here was also done expertly, just as tender as some of the best versions I've had from highly rated Greek restaurants in the Chicago suburbs. This was tender and juicy throughout without being overly salted, but having just enough herbs to elevate the taste of the meat. The biggest surprise here was the bacon almond hash which was incredibly tasty without feeling too oily. For a corned beef hash lover like myself, this brought about the same level of joy for me. The jambalaya is also very flavorful with a good level of spice and lots of umami. The desserts here taste just as good as they look. The white chocolate brownie is rich and delicious with smooth Callbeaut chocolate. The ice cream, warm chocolate sauce, and whipped cream all provide nice accompaniments with the brownie. But even on it's own, this is a very rich and satisfying item. The caramel chocolate chip cheesecake was quite a surprise for me. Many times, the caramel feels too sweet or sticky, or really doesn't come through very well but this was done exceptionally well (my parents love Cheesecake Factory, so I eat a lot more of this dish than the average person). This had an excellent texture and just the right amount of caramel to avoid bein overwhelming. The graham cracker walnut crust was the perfect match for this dish and the creme anglaise and whipped cream help to make the cheesecake feel a bit lighter. I had intended to take half of this home for later but my willpower diminished as I slowly realized that the first bite was just as good as the last. Overall, highly recommended if you're in the area and you need to make sure you have a high quality meal in a good setting. I came with a group of 5 for dinner on a Friday night. We had made reservations beforehand but they ended up sticking us at a corner booth meant for four people. Therefore, I felt very cramped during the whole meal. Throughout the night, service started very shakily. It took a bit to warm up to our waiter but towards the end he was very friendly. However, there was one absolutely terrible runner during the beginning of our meal. He was blonde guy with thin silver rimmed glasses. For some reason we did not have any plates even when the appetizers came so he had to bring some over to us. When he set them down, he did so by slamming them down on the table and leaving. Afterwards, when he brought more of our appetizers he once again slammed the food on the table and completely ignored us when we asked for something. Afterwards, our food was brought out by other people and service picked up; however, it was still a bit slow between each course to be checked in on. For our appetizers we split: AZ EGG ROLLS: Surprisingly very tasty and a nice option. TUNA POKE NACHOS: This was one of their specials for the night and the flavor was great. The tuna was a great quality as well. Additionally, the fried wonton "chips" that they came with were a great addition as well. GRILLED ARTICHOKE: The artichoke was well grilled and came with a nice creamy dressing. For my entree I ordered the DANCING CRAB CAKES. The crab cakes had a nice flavor but for over $30 the two lumps of crab meat and fries with the sauce just slapped onto the side was very sad. It would have been better if it came with another some side as well. It just felt pretty hefty of a price tag for what you get and its presentation. I also ordered a side WEDGE SALAD which was quite tasty. The bacon was perfectly fried but the only thing was that the blue cheese dressing was a bit too sweet. Finally for dessert, we shared a FRENCH WHITE CHOCOLATE BREAD PUDDING. The presentation was very nice and smelled delicious. The bread pudding was well made albeit a tad dry. The food came out rather quickly and the chicken itself was great is juicy and well flavored. The French fries were shoestring and left much to be desired. I didn't care for the shredded lettuce or non toasted roll so I just ate the chicken with tomato... for dessert we shared the white chocolate brownie. I was looking for a decent place to eat that was close to the hotel, featured decent food that wasn't burgers, and not too expensive. I searched the area using Yelp and this place was fantastic and checked all the boxes. The first night I ordered the blackened seabass (why does autocorrect keep wanting to change it to "seabags"?). Was a bit shocked to see it looked more like trout than Chilean Seabass but that's what I get for assuming all "seabass" yields chilean seabass. We were so excited for a girls night out and dropped in for an early dinner before the lights at Morton Arboretum. There were 7 of us total and we got a booth with an extra seat at the end and we fit perfectly. Very cozy actually! When we first walked in we were not greeted at all by the hostess they just stood there and looked at us. We told them about a reservation as we came in and everyone had kinda the same experience. My family used to love to come here for special occasions. But we came to day for the first time in a while and it was surprising. The menu seems to have changed. And the food was not as good as it used to be. The portion size was smaller and prices higher which can be accounted for inflation I guess. The presentation was worse as well. I would give them a solid 3. Not bad. But a chain that lost focus. Too many entrees to do anything well.. Hello cheesecake factory. And the desserts are pretty ok......But overall pretty much frozen food, lunch meat (not prime rib or rotisserie sliced turkey or chicken)...I would skip it! read more

This place reminds me a lot of Cheesecake Factory in sense that it's a dark lit spot but was surprised by how good the food was. Our server was very nice and would refill drinks/bring out new drinks, without even asking which was amazing. It's a little on the pricier side but the food was good and fresh. For app we had the guacamole which was delicious and the poke nachos which was also good. I would say the yard house poke nachos are better but these were still good. I had the Cajun chicken sandwich which was delicious and omg if they ask if you want ketchup or ranch with your fries get the ranch. The ranch was the creamiest sweet homemade ranch and I could drink it. If they were to bottle it up and sell it I would buy it. My bf had bleu cheese burger which was still good but really strong bleu cheese if you're into that. The only reason I give 4 stars is I wish it was a little more affordable but the food was great. read more

I called in and made a reservation for dinner and when I arrived I was seated right away. The place has a nice upscale ambience. A quick summary of my experience: - entrees were only okay - dessert was great! But very sweet. I have a bit of a sweet tooth so it didn't bother me but for those that can't handle sweeter foods it may be overwhelming for them. -cocktails were delicious! For food I got the steak and jambalaya. The steak was only decent. There wasn't much seasoning and flavor to it and I had asked for medium but my steak was more medium well. The fries that came on the side were really good. The jambalaya was pretty good. Decent flavors and liked the combo of the shrimp, sausage, and chicken. It wasn't a true authentic jambalaya but it's decent. For dessert I got the white chocolate brownie. It's a white brownie topped with ice cream and white chocolate. It was very good! But as mentioned before it can be overwhelming for those that don't like sweeter foods. The cocktails were great! I had their version of the old fashioned and I could drink those all day! Very good drinks and a wide variety of whiskey options. Definitely a place checking out just for their cocktails. The reason for the lower score is because of the upscale nature (and the upscale prices) I do hold places like these to a higher standard. I'm completely cool paying for higher prices if I'm getting higher quality but I felt the quality wasn't just there.
