The thing I love about WCG is that you can get decent food and drinks at a very reasonable price. For a big bowl of tortilla soup, a cocktail, and a dessert, my bill came to $34 which included the tip. Those weren't Happy Hour prices. Just standard. My friend and I ordered n/a cocktails and they were only $7.50. When most places around here charge $15, the price of WCG's is unheard of in 2025. Even the spirited cocktails are under $9. My favorite dessert is the white chocolate brownie sundae which is $11, but pretty big and meant to be shared. While their regular entrees run about $20, you're definitely saving money on the drinks. Plus, their starters are generously sized and at really reasonable price points. I usually order one as my meal. This restaurant is a good choice if you want something nicer than major chains but something lower key than a fancy restaurant. PS Sit in the bar. It's pretty

Overall The food is good - but it is really expensive and the service is really slow Food (A) I am not a fan of chain fancy restaurants but my daughter has a $100 gift card and we decided to try it out. Had super low expectations going in but the food was really good. I was impressed and really like the food. We got two specials and the remaining items were on menu App. Tuna nachos - these were excellent - bit spicy but excellent. Main course - tuna special, salmon soy and steak sandwhich. The portion sizes were a bit small but the food was all excellent. When I go again I will get the salmon. This place does a great job with its sauces, alios, etc. my daughter's steak sandwich was excellent also. Like I really like the food here Sides - mashed potatoes, fries and roasted honey carrots. They were really good Dessert - both Chocolate ones - brownie and Souffle. The brownie one was better but both were good. Check out the pics - they don't do the food quality justice. Also I am not sure about any negative reviews regarding the food. Also this is not a carry out place - got to eat there for maximum taste value Service (C) So the waiter was a really nice young man and trying his best. For him alone I would give an A. But the actually process of getting the food out was super sloooooooow. Note the manager did comp our entire meal and I am grateful for her for doing so. But time is more valuable to money sometimes. We did generously tip our waiter because I don't think it was his fault. Since I rarely take the kids out to someplace nicer, we take pics when we go which are all time stamped 6:00 reservation 6:12 got there (yes we were late) 6:14 seated with menus 6:23 ordered 6;43 our 1 appetizer comes out 6:59 our waiter realizes we have been waiting a while and lets us know our order will be up soon 7:03 still no main course - let the waiter know it is taking a long time 7:11 we finally get our dinner - I ask the waiter to send the manager over and to just bring our dessert out so we didn't have to wait longer. 7:30 we got boxes to wrap up leftover desserts 7:37 out of there The restaurant was about 50% full when we got there and less than 25% when we left. Note i get it when restaurants are super busy and everyone is running around trying to keep up. But that wasn't the case - little to no sense of urgency Value (C) We did not pay but if we had it would have probably been around $160. So it is around $50-$75 a person to dine there - depending on if you buy drinks. For that much you can go to a much nicer place and get much larger portion sizes. These felt just right to me for a meal but expensive for the prices charged. Atleast at Italian and/or Steak you get bread service. So I will probably go back since we have the $100 gift card that we didn't use. But just to use up the gift card. Even if the service may not dine again - just because it is so expensive. If management gets involved and lowers prices and does a better job training the staff this place has potential since the food was actually good. They could probably increase business by around 30-50% with a few simple easy things. It's a tried it once type of place

I think overall this place has some decent food and drinks but it's hit or miss. The service was decent as well considering it was Mother's Day. I strongly recommend avoiding the prickly pear margarita and I would avoid the ribs & rotisserie chicken. The grilled chicken sandwich wasn't a hit with my son either. See below pictures of their idea of a "half rack of ribs" bones next to a single fry for size comparison. I've also never had a rotisserie chicken that was dried out. The prickly pear margarita had some kind of soda water in it that made it carbonated which was abnormal. Yes, I ate the ribs. The food took long enough to come out and I was hungry so I ate what little meat was actually there. This is more of a buyer beware post as I won't be returning and I didn't make a big deal because it was Mother's Day and I wasn't trying to bring shade on my wife's day. She enjoyed her meal minus the margarita. Oh, and the desserts were pretty good. Definitely liked the brownie. The only reason I'm giving this two stars is one for the service and one for the desserts.

We stopped in after a funeral. I was longing for an espresso martini and some good food. We started with a Moscow mule, an espresso martini, a Spicy margarita and a John Daly. The drinks were refreshing after a long hard day. We moved on to dinner. I enjoyed their special of Ahi poke nachos. Delicious and a nice tang. One had quesadillas-large platter and very tasty. We also had salmon (perfection) and a steak Sandwich ordered for our table. Everyone was pleased with their food. Our waiter was very attentive and ready with refills. Nice wine list-we did get a bottle of Silver Oak to go along with the meal. Some idiot ordered desserts ( my brother) and I had to try them. Yummmmm! This was my first time in and I was pleasantly surprised! Large bar area with seating as well as the dining room. My family had been there before and made the dinner suggestion. Definitely would recommend when you are in the area

The White Chocolate Grill has been on my list of restaurants to try for a while. I got the chance to go there when meeting up with some friends. This restaurant has a very rustic but elegant feel, much a more approachable Wildfire. We started with chips and guacamole (fresh avocado, tomato, red onion & cilantro. Served with warm tortilla chips & oven roasted salsa). The guacamole was very fresh with large chunks of avocado. I love that it also came with salsa. When we ran out of chips, I started eating the guacamole with my fork. For an entree I got the BBQ bacon burger (smoked bacon, BBQ sauce, shredded cheddar & diced onion) with honey roasted carrots. I ordered the burger medium but it came well done. The burger was still juicy. I enjoyed how the BBQ sauce came on the side. This saved my hands from becoming a mess! The cheese was freshly shaved and tasted great. The honey roasted carrots were a great surprise. They were sweet but not too sweet. While the appetizers and entrees were a success, if the name of your restaurant is The White Chocolate Grill then your desserts have to be great, especially when they are the first thing listed on the menu. I had the silky chocolate souffle cake (warm chocolate soufflé cake served with creme anglaise & whipped cream) for dessert. It had a rich chocolate topping, chocolate cake middle and a chocolate crunch on the bottom. It is one of the best restaurant desserts that I've had all year. The service was pretty slow, but all of the food was amazing. I can't wait to go back!!! I highly recommend The White Chocolate Grill!

We came here for my brother's birthday. The service, food and ambiance was top tier. My first time here and won't be the last. Glad I didn't listen to one of my friends. He told me this place was trash. I guess it's just better to experience things for yourself We sat at the bar and ordered drinks and food. The atmosphere was relaxed and chilled. The baked chicken and mash potatoes were fantastic. Waiter was attentive and made sure we were doing ok. The restaurant lights were dim, which added relaxing vibes to this place. I liked the layout of the restaurant, the furniture & decor was nice. I appreciated that we were greeted when we first walked inside the experience was awesome. Food 8/10 Service 9/10 Atmosphere 10/10

The ambiance was very refreshing and our table had a great view of the beautiful decorated bar. Our waiter was friendly and kept checking in. The food came out very fast and I was impressed especially on a Friday night. For drinks, I had the lulu gimlet. It was sweet and refreshing. The Cajun chicken burger was saucy and very filling. The dessert was the best part of the meal. The white chocolate brownie was delicious with the coldness of the ice cream paring perfectly with the brownie. Very soft and light. The soufflé cake was dense and chocolatey. I loved them both. Overall, I had a great experience and would come again

Now let me tell you, as a firm believer in white chocolate is the least favorable chocolate, this restaurant has won me over. The desserts were SO delicious, I couldn't stop eating them. Me and the girls went out to dinner to catch up, and the wait staff were incredibly friendly and answered our questions we had easily and quickly. The Idaho trout was beautifully cooked, and the little brussel sprout salad was a delightful surprise as I've never had Brussels prepared in such a way. The special appetizer of the night was a salmon dip that I wish I had a huge bowl of. Overall a fantastic night out, I would 100% come back again.

While in town we decided to try this establishment! I'm so happy that we did! Our waiter Tim was kind enough to let us know about some options that were not on the menu! We didn't order a lot but what we did offer has me extremely happy! The Tomato Gin Soup is the best tomato soup I've ever had! Oh my goodness. It was the best! For sure! We also ordered the AZ Egg Rolls! These are a must try! The side sauces that come with the egg rolls are also a must try. For dessert we ordered the White Chocolate Bread pudding! Yummy! Yes! Yummy!! Our drink of choice was water and Watermelon Lemonade!

After seeing the 3.9 rating on Yelp I was a bit skeptical but this was a very surprising and delicious meal. Happy to see it come grilled and the with some other side options besides fries. I had the jambalaya rice as a side. Service was fast and pleasant, professional and friendly.

This restaurant is very nice. Went there for lunch and we had salads that were really good. Our waiter Troy was excellent! I got the ahi tuna salad and my aunt and cousin both got the Filet Mignon Cobb Salad. Delicious. For an appetizer we got the spinach artichoke that also came with salsa which was nice and good. Definitely will be coming back!

My southern chicken salad was a plate and a half plenty of all the ingredients advertised and the chicken was just the right side of crunch to soft . The dessert was the bread and butter white chocolate special very sweet but enough in size for three of us. Overall a place I would go back too . The service quick and attentive even my wife's martini glass was replaced with a fresh chilled one, never ever seen this before 10/10 for that bit of service. The ambiance gave me the feel of an upmarket sports bar but subtle if not on the dark side

After Chocolate Sanctuary in Gurnee closed, I've been on the lookout for another amazing dessert spot. Though there isn't chocolate mixed into every dish here, White Chocolate Grill fulfills the needs of providing a delicious meal along with delicious desserts as well. The prices here are a bit higher, though not unreasonable for this class of restaurant -- which is justified by the quality of food that you're getting, the classy interior, and top notch service. I would definitely come back here again for a special occasion as this was a great experience from start to finish and the seating was quite comfortable to sit in for an extended period of time. As I mentioned, the food here is delicious. The fresh guacamole I tried had a great contrast between the fresh and creamy avocado and the earthy oven roasted salsa. This was served with perfectly thin and crispy chips. As one who eats both of these items quite a bit, I was surprised both at the depth of flavor and freshness in both of these dipping options, as I was expecting a fairly standard version of both. The BBQ Bacon burger was cooked to perfection -- as good as some of the amazing versions available at higher end burger restaurants in Chicago. The patty was perfectly juicy and cooked a light sear on the edges. The smoked bacon and cheddar provided a good amount of saltiness and extra fat while the mix of BBQ sauce and diced onion helped to prevent the entire burger from feeling too salty or fatty. The rotisserie chicken here was also done expertly, just as tender as some of the best versions I've had from highly rated Greek restaurants in the Chicago suburbs. This was tender and juicy throughout without being overly salted, but having just enough herbs to elevate the taste of the meat. The biggest surprise here was the bacon almond hash which was incredibly tasty without feeling too oily. For a corned beef hash lover like myself, this brought about the same level of joy for me. The jambalaya is also very flavorful with a good level of spice and lots of umami. The desserts here taste just as good as they look. The white chocolate brownie is rich and delicious with smooth Callbeaut chocolate. The ice cream, warm chocolate sauce, and whipped cream all provide nice accompaniments with the brownie. But even on it's own, this is a very rich and satisfying item. The caramel chocolate chip cheesecake was quite a surprise for me. Many times, the caramel feels too sweet or sticky, or really doesn't come through very well but this was done exceptionally well (my parents love Cheesecake Factory, so I eat a lot more of this dish than the average person). This had an excellent texture and just the right amount of caramel to avoid bein overwhelming. The graham cracker walnut crust was the perfect match for this dish and the creme anglaise and whipped cream help to make the cheesecake feel a bit lighter. I had intended to take half of this home for later but my willpower diminished as I slowly realized that the first bite was just as good as the last. Overall, highly recommended if you're in the area and you need to make sure you have a high quality meal in a good setting. Definitely make sure you save some room for their delicious desserts here.

The interior was smartly outfitted - the lighting, the ceilings, the walls, were all classy and nicely done. Service was outstanding - water and soft drink glasses were refilled regularly, and the table checked for food quality on multiple occasions. I was intrigued by their Prime Rib Sandwich, which is served with onion crisps. I went for the $4 upgrade to Truffle Fries. The sandwich was LARGE, very tasty, and just plain wonderful to eat. Coffee was good, just hard to get enough refills. Potato-leek soup with chili oil drops resembled thin baby food, and was so tasteless, we had to request salt and pepper. They didn't even have salt and pepper shakers; it came in small tumblers. The Beef Wellington from the prix fixe menu was smaller than expected for the price. The beef was fine but was more like a filet than a beef tenderloin. The mushroom coating was far too earthy and tasted a little bit like dirt. The pastry was kind of raw on the inside. The sides that came with the Beef Wellington were a schmeer of mashed potatoes - which were okay - and a tiny pile of steamed carrots and leeks. The chocolate tart was good, but not incredible. Did not live up to the hype or the "Ramsey Reputation;" will probably not return. Overall experience - kind of "meh."
