This eventually allowed moisture to corrode the cable resulting in loss of power. The fence installation company said a. there is no proof it was their fault and b. they aren't liable for it. I got one quote of $17K to run a new underground electric cable. Mr. Electric gave me a quote of less than 50% of the first quote. Luke from Mr. Electric with a crew of 4 people plus 5 diggers finished the job yesterday. After the work was finished, they sent their inspector to make sure everything was done to perfection! My…read moreusual electrical company, Blue Electrical Contractors, was super busy so I decided to try Nextdoor based on their Yelp reviews. I had them take down an old outdoor ceiling fan from my back porch and install two new ceiling lights: one in the same spot as the ceiling fan and the other over the seating area to provide more light (see photo). The job cost $572 which I thought was a little bit high, but I wanted the work done. Two big issues with the job: First of all, the technician didn't install the round ceiling light insulation discs in each fixture (see photo) which is to my understanding required to meet Underwriters Laboratory requirements. (The insulation is used to reflect heat from incandescent bulbs.) He also cracked one of the plastic conduit hangers so that it was actually broke. I found the insulation thrown in the garbage and had to dig them back out and have the technician come back to put them in and replace the broken hanger. Also, wasn't really keen on the fact that he used plastic hangers vs. metal to hang the conduit. Another issue was that I wanted a multi-outlet switch in my garage changed out to a standard outlet; see photo. Nextdoor quoted me $187 to change it out. Caido, from Blue Electrical Contractors stopped by and I had him look at it. It was only a cover; Caido unscrewed one screw and the regular outlet was underneath. I could have done it had I known this. It took Caid 5 seconds to take the multi-outlet cover off and he didn't charge me a thing. Okay. This is ridiculous! $187??!! This shows me the technician from Nextdoor Electric didn't even know what he was quoting. I was speaking to Caido from Blue Electric about Nextdoor and how I will never use them again, but can't understand their great reviews. Caido was telling me that Nextdoor's reviews could be fake and/or purchased. I really am questioning these reviews. I will never have them do any work for me again. Go with Blue Electric the next time you need electrical work; I have used them for years.

Honestly I really wish I could've gone somewhere else, but I'd already paid a deposit on their work not knowing that Ecoflow just contracted about any old Electrician, I guess.. Anyways, contacted veteran electric as I'm a veteran as well so of course I will give them business before some random company. After not having AC for 2 weeks (with no consideration from the other AC company) I decided to buy a new unit from LMH Services because they offered me a price lower than the other for the whole system. Not only that but they scheduled me for the very next day. I now have a system that saves me tons of money, is quiet and after some research is one of the best units on the market. My neighbor has even told me they don't hear my unit like they use to since it's a quieter system. LMH Services made it a pretty awesome experience all around.

Just three days later, our home was hot again because the AC was no longer working properly. We contacted LMH and were told that a technician would come back out to address the problem. We were then told that we would need to spend an additional $4,000 to service the system and get a new unit. I am extremely frustrated with this experience. In my opinion, the pricing and communication were misleading, and I do not feel that LMH stood behind the work we had already paid $600 for only three days earlier. Customers deserve clear explanations, reasonable pricing, reliable communication, and a company that stands behind its work. Unfortunately, that was not our experience with LMH. Fantastic company. This was a small job but it entailed a risky approach to simply installing a…read morecover plate above a very high ceiling above a stair. Mission accomplished. This required very long screws that were not painted and this was handled as well. The second task was to repair/replace and existing fan, again in a peaked ceiling of about 14'. Initial job was to test whether power was reaching the fan. It was not. Net step was checking the switches and it was not. On to checking the switch which turned out to be faulty. Upon replacement, fan actually worked. I was very impressed that one of the owners and a helper showed up on time (acutally a bit early). Job required both a 24 foot ladder and a 16 foot ladder. Price was exceptionally reasonable (less that cost of new 400 fan I was able to return via Amazon. These folks are the true deal with service, great attitude and bi-lingual. Do not hesitate to hire these folks. Angel and his team are exceptional, quality human beings.
