Not impressed with this service. I needed a 2nd look on a home inspection I called places for a inspection and I got a call back a few hours later and the guy said to send the report and he can tell me what was wrong with the property instead of going to look.it was a hard pass Reply to the gentleman, anyone can read an can read a inspection report unless you have a disability. When I called I said I wanted someone to come and look and was told he could do it by looking at the report. You might be able to give prices by an inspection report but you can't physically see if there are other issues with the property without looking in person, and the whole reason for getting someone is to see what the inspector missed becuse he's not a license electrician. Out of all the electricians I called approximately 10 this was the only Company that said they can tell me what was wrong by reading a report. They others asked to see the report before they got there to have an idea and some prices before hand If that's how you run your Business it's a lazy and dishonest practice read more

Very difficult to schedule an appointment with and when finally scheduled weeks later they no showed. No call or text from them as to why.

Had an electrical outlet in my garage randomly go out and since the breaker had no issues I called a bunch of electricians trying to get someone out asap to tell me what was going on. Since this was Friday before new years, most were booked or closed but Danny said he'd be there first thing in the morning - I was very surprised considering I called him at 5pm but very grateful nonetheless. He was even knowledgable enough to tell me what the issue would possibly be over the phone based on how I described the issue rather than just say "I'll know what it is when I look at it". Danny came out on a Sunday to replace my doorbell transformer, replace two light fixtures. I asked him to check on one of the outlet in my laundry room because I saw a spark coming out of the outlet when I had unplugged and plugged it back in. Before checking, he asked me if my washer was on . He explained that if the machine was on, it would spark and that was normal. For my piece of mind, he tested the outlet for me to make sure the wiring was safe,it was. Overall a pleasant experience. Will definitely hire Danny again for any future projects! I can't say enough good things about Thor and Danny Hixon. My only regret is not posting this 3 days ago when he and his team replaced my electric service drop cable. They did exactly what I needed done, affordably, promptly and professionally. I had problems with loss of my residence's electricity due to a contractor having partially cut through the service drop cable when they were installing new fiber. Other companies came out and gave me a proposal for the repair work, but they were very pricey and also quoted numerous other things I didn't want or need. Guess they gotta pay for their advertising and those fancy wraps on their trucks. But they should take a lesson from Danny and just do a great job fixing what's broken. BTW, I see Thor would have a perfect 5 star Google Review score if it weren't for one person who called but never left a message, and another who gave a 4 star review but provided no reason. I lost partial power to my home and noticed that some of my lights were flickering. Danny came out within an hour of me calling on a Sunday. He was professional, courteous and explained what was happening so that I could understand. He figured out that it was a problem with Centerpoint and he even helped me call them to make arrangements to restore my electricity. He also had other helpful suggestions regarding home maintenance. It is my extreme pleasure to add my review to the long list of 5 stars reviews for Danny Hixon, master licensed electrician who gets to the root of the problem or provide a service honestly, efficiently and thoroughly. Danny truly is the modern day human Norse God, Thor, who was the defender of Asgard, realm of the gods, and Midgard, the human realm, through great feats of arms in slaying giants. Because of the Texas Freeze, I got suckered into going with a Big Company that told me I needed a brand new furnace. I bought into paying more for the 100% guaranty. Come spring, I discovered that the outside A/C condenser connected to the new furnace did not run. Big Company came out, messed around with the furnace and the A/C and told me that critters escaping the TX Freeze must have crawled in through the vent and chewed the T-STAT wire somewhere from the furnace to the outside. The fix would be replace it with a new T-Stat wire connecting would either run through an ugly outside conduit or cut through the drywall. Big Company told me it wanted $1000, please, Without hesitation, I told them I would think about it. But then Big Company insisted on knowing why I did not accept the offer on the spot. "Ok", I said, "so I am calling some other electricians. Danny Hixon stood out in my search of Electricians with 5 stars reviews. He was the only one who texted me his thoughts and then later phoned me he could not come that day. It was then I told Danny, another electrician was all set to come the next morning. Danny called later again and told me, he is nearby on his last job, and please allow him to just look at the problem because from what I was describing, it may not be the major job I was led to believe by Big Company. He added that I should still go with the other electrician I expected in the morning, if I was not satisfied and he gave his word he would not charge me. Once at the house, Danny now was able to see that was actually always an HVAC issue. No it was not a $1000 job I was led to believe. In fact, the T-STAT wire was LIVE and well. That wire has red, green, blue, white, yellow, take your pick of colored wires and match those color wires up with the furnace and the A/C unit and the signal goes through. So when Big Company would have replaced the wire for $1000 and the A/C unit would still not have turned on. The wires would never have gotten matched up. I am predicting then Big Company would tell me the AC unit is toast and sell me a $7000 new A/C condenser. And I am still stuck with this ugly $1000 conduit on the side of my house. Danny puts honest service to his customer first and foremost. He tells you to let him worry about how to get the job done, lets you watch him work, and tells you what he is doing so you understand everything. And, he does answer his calls. When you call him, he wants you to text him the problem so he can be analyzing it before he makes the service call. And he will promptly text you back. I don't think he is worried if you decide to take his information somewhere else, because he is really, above all, concerned about solving people's electrical problems and he has more than enough customers to keep him busy. Your loss, though, if you do not go with Danny Hixon. Clearly, Danny Hixon loves and takes pride in his excellent work and leaving his customer relieved and happy it's all done right. Had some work done on my parents home. The ground was not connected and had to be reattached to a new clamp. In addition had a few issues in the breaker panel fixed. Over the weekend heavy winds knocked a tree down in our yard that took out the power lines. After talking to Centerpoint I found out I needed a new weatherhead before Centerpoint could reconnect the power. Sunday of a holiday weekend I didn't expect any electricians to pick up but Danny from Thor Electrical returned my call almost immediately. He was at my house within the hour, assessed the situation, gave me a reasonable quote and went back to his office to get parts and pull a permit. He returned a short hour later and completed the work very quickly and professionally. Once he was done with the work he tracked down a city official (Sunday of a holiday weekend) to get the permit expedited and then contacted Centerpoint on our behalf to get them on their way back out to reconnect our power.
