The owner/ OT Michelle is a thief and pathological liar…read more Her office had lied to me and told me they were in network with my insurance which is the only reason I made the appointment. Came in for one consultation which was a waste of time due to her own incompetence. 2 week later I get a bill for that one consultation of $950!!!! When I called to ask her what this bill was about she decided to go with 3 different stories. The first was that there's no way it could be real because she would never charge that much for a single consultation. The second was that the bill was not from her and created by the insurance company and the third was that she had "been working with United for 30 years and they never pay her enough." That was the last straw for me as I knew she had not only done this before to other clients but would continue to do so again and again. In the end she decided to settle with me for an additional $60 which I neglectfully agreed to out of the kind nice of my own heart rather than report her to the Attorney General as she well deserves.

She took the time and noticed things I think many wouldn't. I felt she truly cared for my child and was there to support, especially when PT for a first time mom can feel overwhelming and stressful. She also isn't one to push you for more visits just to get you to keep coming back. She genuinely wanted to see our child succeed and was honest about when he was ready to "graduate" from PT. Couldn't recommend Ellie and her team more.

I scheduled an appointment with POTS but canceled it several days in advance well before the…read morescheduled time. Despite this, I was charged $103. When I called to ask about the charge, I was told it was a non-refundable deposit to "hold the appointment" for up to three months, since I was supposedly taking a time slot from a therapist. That explanation didn't make sense to me, as there was no active appointment being held after I canceled. When I questioned this, the representative became defensive and dismissive rather than helpful. I was also told I had agreed to these terms, which I do not recall doing. I ultimately disputed the charge with my credit card company and the chargeback was approved. I want to be clear that I can't speak to or judge the clinical quality of the providers themselves. However, the office's billing policies and customer service practices clearly need improvement. I completely understand policies around missed or last-minute cancellations, those situations do take time away from providers. However, charging a non-refundable fee for an appointment canceled well in advance feels unfair and misleading. Based on the interaction, this seems to be a recurring issue rather than an isolated one.

I went to go see Dr. Philip Tasca at Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at 500 Grand Ave.,…read moreInglewood, NJ about a month ago because of having lower back pain radiating down my left leg. I had some concerns in the beginning because I had brought in MRI images to him and he did not deem it necessary to review the MRI before he started a treatment plan. I did not follow my instincts and proceeded to get Cortizone shots in my back to relieve the pain. The Cortizone shots did not last long and I am still in pain. I received an automated appointment confirmation the day before my follow-up appointment. I came in after three weeks of the initial visit to let him know I was still in pain, only to find out He is on vacation. The young lady at the front Desk look but surprised and said "oh no one called you"., I reply no, but I had a computer asked me to confirm my appointment. Don't put your trust in a place that will do a procedure without looking at images and not be there when you need them or have a decency to call you to let you know That they won't be there to help you. Researching doctors is very important.
