supposedly this place closes at 5:30 pm on week days but around 5:15 - 5:20 the door was locked. i tried looking trough to see if i saw anybody but i couldn't see in, then some lady walks out at 5:29 saying we're closed after waiting 10 minutes looking like an idiot at the door to renew my tag. not even surprised after looking at the reviews and the incident that happened prior. read more

I've been going here for years and never had an issue I went the other day for a title transfer and their is a women I didnt get her name (skinny with curley BIG hair at the front) she was rude with atittude AND LAZY after I waited almost an hour in line! SHE started highlighting the title with a HIGHLIGHTER where I needed to sigh instead of just telling me and told me I have to come back tomorrow just bc I forgot to sign my signature which I could have done right then an there! MIND YOU I have done this many times before and NEVER HAD AN ISSUE! SHES DISGUSTING AND SHOULD BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE! read more

Incompetent. Reps go down the line and pick and choose customers based on the service needed. Had to return 3 separate times because correct information was not provided the first time I went. The three times I had to return, new and different requirements were needed by myself. So a transfer of a plate, was a whole day process. Unnecessary money on a gas and time was wasted. Went to visit the Tag agency in cutler bay florida Grace was awesome. I have been working in Customer service for 36 years and I will tell you that the agent the was working did not understood my situation, but went over and beyond to assistance me and use the white glove treatment. My mother hospitalized and was not able to find the Title for her car, but she was able to speak with her supervisor and was able to resolve my issue when there was no hope at the time. She really took the time to understand my critical situation like the put herself in my shoes dealing with elderly parents we connected so well. She would be a great asset to your company and she deserves an additional commendation for her excellent customer service. Marvin C. read more

Went to renew 2 vehicles with both paperwork, they charged me a "verification fee" for one ($6.00). Never received my $0.80 change. I sent 2 email, they replied to one, saying to come get your $0.80 change, i requested a refund for $6.80 with no response so i will contact the State & BBB. I am a victim of unfair / deceptive trade practices from JAV, imagine how much they are getting from doing this to others... read more

I went inside and was taken care of immediately. There were numerous employees. I received my handicap permit. This office in Miami is much efficient than going to Homestead/Leisure City DMV where one has to make two lines as well as look for parking. Very professional. read more

If I could rate negative I would. I just went there today in my lunch break to turn my plate in. the line was very long but that was not the problem. The problem is the people (the customers, us) are crowded and right on top of each other. So i was last in line and tried keeping some space from the lady in front of me who was having fatigue because she'd disabled and needed to sit down, she kept on asking if she had to make the line again because she was disabled. the workers told her no that it was done line for all. so anyway I'm there keeping some space I would say maybe 4 feet distance from this lady, mind you, in Covid it was 7 feet and out of respect I don't really want to be breathing down the neck of the person in front of me. well, this lady walks in behind me and she asks if I'm in line to which is say yes. I guess the distance bothered her a bit because she wanted to be smooshed together there was about 20 + people in that crowded line, behold, she starts tapping..her feet, her hands against the wall, letting me know she wants me to MOVE forward. but I mean I was, just keeping some PERSONAL SPACE. no one should be breathing down anyone's neck I mean the smells, the people, you don't know who's sick, nonetheless invading personal space. ohgod so she calls someone on the phone to tell them that me (the girl in front( won't move and I'm making the line longer.. I turn around upset because I mean it's so disrespectful in every way, the people in front of me are still the same NUMBER. we're still in the same WAITING TIME. and she starts saying g her boyfriend is outside and i dont know what she can do. oh gosh. I'm Ofcourse at this point i start getting disrespectful she's threatening me. Well, I was extremely disrespected stood my ground and cursed her back. Because people really need to stop. Especially targetting individuals. I look white but in Hispanic and I will stand up for myself I won't be bullied. Low and behold the MANAGER COMEd 10 minutes later to tell me that I'm making the line LONGER.. mind you I WAS AT THID POINT 4th ready to be called.. she said she had the right to not attend me if she didn't want to and that I needed to move forward I was letting her know I'm showing her. The distance between the person in front of me and me is MAYBE ONE PERSON 4FEET nonetheless??? covid might be over but we are not 100% it's still flu season. Some people helped me they started saying well what if she's sick and she doesn't wanna get other sick. But what if others are sick and we're SO ccrowded I mean you guys know the smell of sweat and how it starts getting. People sitting on the floor it was crazy. Well Carolina Garcia which she told the employed "whoever is going to attend her (me) let me know" is that a threat? Are you going to have them make my appointment easier? She also said I could take her to court. But I mean this was ridiculous okay.. if the line is long then work faster. There where 40 people in there is there no capacity? There were no chairs.. just a line. This was such a horrible experience it was 3 minutes max of me turning my tag in and waited around 30 minutes but the threats.. and not just that but I was not doing anything wrong.. I was keeping 4 feet of space between me and the person in front of me She was fatiguing she was elderly she wanted to sit down and was disabled. I did not want to be breathing down her neck as everyone else was. Besides. I don't mind if the person behind me is close to me I never told the lady to step back.. I just didn't want to make this elder lady UNCOMFORTABLE OR MYSELF UNCOMFORTABLE I MEAN THAT IS A BOUNDARY. I DIDNT want to step into her boundary and I did not want to either for myself.. well the manager Carolina Garcia is horrid. I mean she could not understand and chose to be rude and ignorant. for no reason seriously. For what? If the line is long it means there's many people in that place and the workflow is slow, there were about 4 people working for 40 people that were in there.. it was a horrible experience. I don't know why or how that escalated to what it did and it felt horrible because he employees were so scared of her that they refused to give me her name saying they don't KNOW their managers name? Wow. This was honestly a movie, I just wanted to go in there and come back out and it was just beyond crazy. Horrible service. Allowing another customer to threat one of your customers for not being on top of the person in front of them is insane.. and again the common sense, if I have 20 people in front of me it doesn't not matter how many feet apart I am.. it still the same number. If the line is getting longer it's not my fault but the workflow mind you, if it was that I was making the line longer I'd understand. But I was last person in line... and the lady walked in and she was already mad that I was keeping some space. This is getting out of hand. Oh where to start I have an out-of-state vehicle that needs vin inspection. so I try to call them at least four times nobody ever picked up the phone. by the way when I got there there was a couple of people sitting behind a desk just watching the workers and they didn't bother picking up the phone and it didn't look like they were doing anything. anyhow I look comments to look at the reviews and I saw how they do vin inspections but the person just didn't come out because it was raining one particular day and the particular customer didn't get serviced. it's not raining today. so I go when I walk in the door and the place is full of people look like an hour line so I asked somebody do you doing vin inspections yes we do was her reply. I turn in the line I finally get called up and they tell me they only do Vin inspections for titles that are being serviced there after I waited in line for an hour when I ask somebody if they did vin inspections. finally need to be better informed have to have more information on their website so that somebody doesn't drive out of their way wait in their lane not to be serviced not a good way to run a business in my view. they get one star because there's nothing less because they really didn't even do anything to deserve one star oh yes they did waste my time. read more

Went to register vehicle. I was told they could not walk out into light rain to do vin verification. Ok I understand then can I pull it right up to the building and you verify it that way. I was told no the insurance company can't be liable for us getting wet. We aren't covered. (What the world- getting wet is a liability) ok since I needed this, I agreed to wait until the rain stopped. As the chick walks away she says I can't go out there in my sandals. Then ten minutes later she tells me ok pull up to the front, while it's raining hard now mind you, pull up to the front and I will check it. I said the same place I asked you a few minutes ago. I left, I will just go to the government center and not pay the extra to deal with them. read more

Tina has a tendency to make up her own rules, and alter the law to her convenience, she is very incompetent and has the unwarranted attitude of a scorned mean-girl in high school. Tina does not comprehend the concept of a notary nor does she understand out of state paperwork; she is also ignorant to foreign names. Unfortunately, she advises her colleagues to do as she does; she seems to be somewhat of a supervisor so the bad behavior gets taught and passed down. Tina comes off very bitter and miserable, she is a perfect example of "misery loves company" and will go out of her way to make your transaction more difficult than it needs to be through lies, deceit and ignorance. If you want your very important paperwork and requests to be processed correctly, don't go to JAV. Once they get rid of Tina and get their people trained properly in accordance with the law this would be a decent place to do business. read more

I arrived before the place opened and there was already a line outside. Once it opened the line went fast. They had enough people working to have the line move fast. The staff was efficient and courteous. I had several items to take care of and they were fast and gave me options on how I could achieve my goals with the least expense!
