Tim and his team are excellent. I enjoy taking care of our yard, and I have high expectations for professional landscaping companies. I've used Lawn Care Plus every couple of years for almost 10 years when there's a larger project to do than I can tackle myself. They've brought in yards of loam and leveled / reseeded parts of our yard, always with great results. They've aerated our yard every 1-2 years, despite it being a small standalone job some years. They've removed a diseased tree. They helped remove an old paver patio, neatly stacked the old pavers, and prepared the soil for new grass. Any company with a legit website and electronic communication- not just a phone #- already gets high marks in my book (why is this so hard to find?). But they did an excellent job in our inherited yard that looked like it hadn't been touched in years, for a reasonable price- got rid of all the chaotic overgrowth, trimmed down the trees and bushes to a manageable length, made the grounds look probably as nicest as they ever had. The before and after were like night and day, only took the better part of a day to complete, and we're now actually proud of this yard and look forward to using it They were easy to use, easy to pay, easy to work with- we have no reservations about hiring them again when springtime rolls around, and can see using their services regularly for years to come. read more

These guys just did a lawn installation for us (converting previously landscaped Yard to grass), and did an amazing job! They were very hard working and knowledgeable, giving us advice on how to maintain the yard going forward. My husband and I were both impressed on how quickly they were able to complete the job (2 days), and also how well they cleaned up afterwards. They left the yard better than it was before they came. I don't understand how this company has such good reviews. We were looking to hire a new landscaping company and get an estimate. Phone call went unanswered, so we emailed them. After no response, we tried calling again. The guy I spoke to, claimed he'd never received an email and to please resend it with all the details and our address. Someone would come out the same day to take a look. And they would get back to us right away. 5 says later, still nothing. Tried calling one more time, again, no one answered or returned our call. Prompt, professional and super hard working. I'm rarely in Boston on weekends and that means the larger outdoor chores tend to pile up at our home in Rozzie. Decided to hit the two bigger tasks early on saturday -- attack a long hedge row that had gotten too high to safely trim from a ladder and then see if I could use a 10lb sledge to bust up an ancient and decrepit metal/concrete/brick outdoor oven that had been decomposing in our back yard since we bought the place. Taking the hedge down from ~11ft to 5ft resulted in our entire driveway being full of branches and hedge trimmings. The original plan was to get a bagster bag from Lowes but it turns out they don't accept yard waste in their dumpster bags for my zip code. Time for plan B. Called Lawn Care Plus for two reasons - their business address was super close to our spot in Roslindale and their website had two magic words (trimming/removal & masonry demolition) on it. Priority was getting driveway access back so I asked them if they could come out and haul away the hedge bits. Had my fingers crossed that I could get this done before the weekend or at least before wifey got back from a business trip and needed the drive way! Long story short I got same-day weekend disposal service. Twice. They drove out to scope the job, quoted a fee to remove the hedge trimmings and branches and said it might be an hour or two before their truck was free. They also checked out my partial masonry demo and said that if I could get the concrete hauled to the driveway they'd take that away as well although it would be a second trip as they dispose of lawn waste differently than masonry. 1 hour later they show up and haul away a massive pile of hedge bits. Did it fast and left the driveway very clean - they tidied up with a leaf blower and rake before leaving. At that point I was racing the clock to finish busting up the concrete in the back yard. I was about 75% done when they returned but I was having a hard time breaking up the last edge of the concrete pad the fireplace had sat on. I was cool with them hauling away only what I had managed to carry up to the driveway. That was the deal we had agreed upon. When they saw I had not finished the demo they joined me in the back yard and started smashing with the 10lb sledge. Not only did they bust up the piece that I could not but they also shoveled and raked up *every* little bit of concrete and masonry fragment that had been laying around. They left the back yard spotless - besides a square patch of dirt in the ground you can't tell a massive creaky concrete oven used to sit there. 5-stars for same-day service and going above and beyond the original deal. read more

George responded to my email within an hour, and provided a more than reasonable quote that afternoon. Very professional hard working crew who removed every leaf. Highly recommend. Would definitely hire again. I'm sure my neighbors are relieved I will not be the Scrooge with leaves all over the lawn for Christmas. read more

These guys have consistently gone above and beyond for us. I had twins, and when we came home from the hospital we noticed a tree had fallen in our backyard. I called Lawn Care Plus and they were able to remove it the same day and at an excellent price. A month later, there were two onsies in our mailbox with the Lawn Care Plus logo on them... so thoughtful. We have since used them for cleanup jobs and fertilizing our lawn. They respond right away to phone calls and text messages. Tim and his team are always able to get the work done without much notice, and they are meticulous. Every time we hire them, I know we'll be left with a perfect looking yard leaving us more time to be with our kids. Tim and his crew did a beautiful job giving our hedges a "face lift". I think they were somewhere around 8 ft tall, way beyond what I could maintain myself without trying to balance on a 6 ft ladder... Tim was responsive via email which is helpful because I work overnight and am not always available by phone during the 9-5 hrs. He charged me exactly what he quoted me and the job took about 2hrs and their cleanup was METICULOUS. I cannot say enough good things about these guys.
