I contacted them for my son's birthday party that was minions themed and Lisa was very responsive to my inquiry and prompt to answer all of my questions. We decided to go with Lisa and we are glad we did. I sent Lisa a photo of my vision and she delivered on the Arch and center pieces for our picnic birthday party. Communication was great leading up to our event and on the actual day of my party, Lisa was on time and worked efficiently to get the balloons setup for the birthday before our scheduled start time. Lisa and her partner were very kind and pleasant to work with. When they came to pick up the balloons after the event, she made take down look so easy and there was no mess since all balloons were popped into a garbage bag. Lisa even gave some of he balloons away to kids who were asking for them. I'm back with another review for Jax Party! Lisa did the balloons for my son's first bday, and I had her come and setup balloons for his second bday. She was responsive via email, patient, kind, and professional. She used my inspiration photos and nailed what I had in mind. I wanted a race car theme, but I didn't want the standard red, black, and yellow colors. I used a color scheme that matched the interior of my home. Lisa showed up on time the day of, and she got the balloons setup in under an hour. She set them up on Saturday, May 27 and I just now took them down on Monday, June 5! We contacted them 3 weeks before the baby shower at very short notice but Lisa was very responsive and took it on. She took our inspiration pics and created a wonderful backdrop and garland. Did you know there's a helium shortage? I sure as heck did not and waited until the week before to start sourcing for helium balloons with delivery for a photo shoot. A nearby company that shall not be named strung me along for several days and tried to get me to change my time for delivery then bailed on me last minute. Then I called Jax Party Supply and Rental and left a message stating I wanted balloons for delivery. Lisa called me back shortly and she is aaaaaaaaamazing. I initially thought I needed a ton of balloons which would have cost $400-$500. I sent her photos of what I was looking for and Lisa told me I could get by with a lot less and it ended up being a lot less! Whew!!! I was so nervous about how it would turn out but I should have known better! The guys were punctual (in fact, they delivered 15 minutes early) and told my photographer how it should be set up to get the look I wanted. We ended up needing to rent a couple canopies due to rain for our son's 5th birthday party which we hosted in our back-yard. We also rented tables and chairs. I shopped around and even though we live in Mtn. View and Jax is in Foster City, we went with them due to competitive pricing (I was specifically looking for canopies with side panels, needed set-up services and sandbags to hold them down, etc.). I worked with Tony who was professional, responsive and helpful during the entire process (booking, delivery and pick-up). He made sure to ask my preferences on set up of the canopies and was accommodating. The items were clean and in good/new condition. They were delivered and set up on time and picked up next day. Not only did they provide the best solutions to some of our concerns such as extra lighting, chairs tables to accommodate over 350 people, they even personally donated to our cause. 18th Birthday Party We dealt with Paul and Lisa to arrange an event for our 18th's bday party which was a Mexican theme. They were very accommodating and responsive and even discounted a few things which they did not have to. As an example, we forgot to order an extra tablecloth and they sent someone out and did not charge us. They also rent a convenient Pinata apparatus which worked well and was a lot of fun. They seem to offer services for all age ranges and we cannot recommend them more highly. read more

We were very pleased with the service and products we rented from Jax. They delivered two tables that were slightly higher than the others, and when we called, they sent replacements within 30 minutes. Minor note that the tables we rented said "Actual Size: 6' x 3'" but were actually 6' x 30" which changed our set-up slightly. They hadn't realized there was an inconsistency on their site and were happy we'd mentioned it to them. We really appreciated the free delivery in Foster City for orders over $100.
