We have had many insurance agents in the 57 years we have been married. NEVER has one of them been as spectacular as Jay. The underwriter wanted leaves blown off our roof that I had not accomplished for the first time in the 26 years we have had this home. JAY came to our house, climbed on the roof and cleaned it off because at 75 I could not. I would have hired someone to do the job but JAY sent a time and day to do it for us. There are few people in this world that would do it for NO CHARGE ! He is one of a kind. His office staff treated me like I was family and it was. really appreciated. Don't, folks...just don't. They want your $, but don't earn you as a customer. You're just a risk assessment to them, a paycheck. They will not earn your business when something unfortunate happens to you. The list of friends and family throwing 5 stars here have not been earned. When the storm hits their place, when the denials and delays happen, when the low balling and grappling for pennies begins, when they drop you flat, that unearned perception will change. Make informed decisions with your hard earned money. You're being sold a bag of air. Don't buy it. Tell anyone you care about. read more

Jay Bernard at State Farm has been my auto insurance agent for a few years now. I've never filed a claim so I can't speak to that. But as far as rates go, their rates are as very competitive. They're always helpful and friendly when I go by the office to make my payments too. Edit: And I'm from Conway, Arkansas, not San Francisco, CA. Not sure why Yelp put me there. read more

Been a customer with Jay Bernard for 7+ years auto insu. Less than a year with renters insu. No accidents or claims until last year when my wife's car was broken into. First claim and my renter insu was dropped and my auto insu increased because I didn't have multiple policies with them. This is not a company that cares about its customers. Sadly I gave them a good review a few years ago, before I ever made a claim with them. read more

I have been a customer with this branch of StateFarm for well over a decade. I called over billing issues today, spoke with a woman by the name of Lexi. She struggled to explain the billing issue and when she was asked to explain further she laughed at my request, spoke over me not allowing or answering my line of questions. Lexi was extremely degrading to speak with about financial issues. I sincerely had hoped Mr. Bernard held a higher standard for his employees. read more

It also helped me process the traumatic death of my Momma due to COVID. I used to relive the days of my mom's sickness and each event leading up to her death but through EMDR, Ms. Kim has helped me process all of that information and appropriately store it in my brain. Some people might be confused about what EMDR is and think it is some kind of hypnotism. It is far from that. It uses touch or sound to mimic the REM cycle that our brain has during sleep. Mimicing this REM cycle allows our brains to process and retrain our thoughts in a healthy/appropriate way and stores the new information in the place of the previous unhealthy thoughts. If you google EMDR you would see that studies have been done and show that there are physical changes in the brain after EMDR. These changes have been detectable by brain scan imaging! If you find yourself stuck for whatever reason...even if you don't know the reason. If you have experienced trauma or PTSD, please contact Ms. Kim and let her help you through it.
