When I walked in, I had to wait about 15-minutes to let the people who had already been seen checkout and then allow the ones before me to go to the counter. When I went to the counter, the girl whispered if I was there for a Covid test, being mindful that I might not want people around me knowing my business -- pure class on her part. Once I confirmed, she had Sarah Holton assist me. Sarah was very kind, understanding, professional, and straightforward. She gave me options with pricing as they don't take insurance and made sure I was OK with everything before moving forward. You could tell she genuinely cares about her patients, and although she deals with many sick people a day hasn't lost her compassion. Once the Doctor arrived, whose name escaped me, but she was a lovely sweet petite red-headed woman, who was as equally kind, gentle, and compassionate as Sarah, she was able to put me on a Covid recovery plan. Urgent Care, unlike many other clinics, is in the healing business and prescribes what is needed for you to heal, not what is recommended by big Pharma to make a profit. I am so grateful I found them. They are worth every penny you spend out of pocket. They gave me the paperwork to get reimbursement from my insurance company, so that's a bonus. Also, when I told Sarah about the experience I had at the historic Savannah location, she apologized on behalf of the company and reported the incident to her management. She asked me if I wanted various shots and tests but I really am not sure because well, I'm not a medical professional. I like the concept that she is providing in healthcare. With an annual membership you get unlimited visits, 2 sets of labs and most medications at cost from the office dispensary for a set price with no surprise costs to be concerned about. This has made medical care affordable for me while enjoying the experience of no long waits and getting in quickly. Her assistant, Sharon, is a great asset in the office to schedule appointments, take your vitals and draw your labs. She's very personable and always smiling. Dr. Lavallee has been more than a physician to me. She's helped me get through some of the most difficult times life has presented me. I can't imagine, looking back, how I'd have made it through these last 7 years without her care. She makes getting better unbelievably enjoyable. I was apprehensive about going to urgent care so close to closing time - worried I could not get great care. It was around 3PM and the place closed at 4PM. Boy was I wrong. The service here was impeccable and despite it being last minute, the physicians assistant were patient and did multiple tests to rule out all potential issues with my heart. The front decks check in was simple and the attendant greeted me with a smile. The medical assistant was kind, attentive and thorough. Overall, great experience here. I left confident that every rock was turned before diagnosing me. The icing on the cake is that I got a call a few days later to make sure I was feeling better.
