Not exactly sure where they fall in price comparison with other grocery retailers. I usually only stop in for 1 or 2 things that maybe needed last minute, while visiting the area. However, having the loyalty card usually helps to capitalize or any sales. Just a Note: The price on Talenti and Häagen-Dazs are little more expensive then I'm accustomed to.

I also ended up finding items that I haven't seen in some of the other locations I normally shop in, which was a great deal for me! I will say that making this trip was worth it. It was clean, items were on the shelves neatly, and customer service was great. I will make this one of my locations to shop more frequently!

The produce section is larger than Food Lion but they just have more produce no additional stock that local don't also have. The hot bar is always hopping with a line, and there is a decent selection of pre-made meals although it could be larger and more variety IMO. I do love anything from the bakery particularly those birthday cakes, Yum. The main reason I come inside is the West Indies section on International Aisle. It is small so don't get your hopes up but have a few essentials like the wafer crackers, cheese in the tin, mackerel, Grace hot sauce. No Tropical Rhythm, spice bun, or Lasco. Now this cheese in tin is $9.89 for the small and I thought it was expensive but I hear it is $13.00 at El Mariachi. There are self checkout lines here I think.

Some parts of the store are quite picked over, especially in the men's wear department. Perhaps others had the same idea as me - a last minute warm outfit. After spending ten minutes wandering around the aisles on this side, I ended up over on the ladies wear and found the perfect black hat I needed and a pair of gloves. Yes, one-size-fits-all fit me okay. Bottle water was also looking pretty bad but the sliced meats and cheeses were in good shape. He says "Hi, how are you?" Then he's still paying attention when you respond. Most people just say a greeting because they're required too. Bill's greetings are genuine! Most of the employees are rude, seriously oblivious to anything, and will run you down with huge carts if YOU don't get out of the way. Don't expect an "excuse me" or even eye contact. If you survive this, try the aisle blocking techniques of the local walkers, stalkers, and talkers who DARE you to try to get around them despite any common courtesy you may have initiated. They stand there and stare you down with every bit of hate they can send, and then make you go around the other way to get to the product right behind them. Usually this happens after church on Sunday. We won't even go. We go to KJ's and spend a few extra bucks and get excellent service and friendly people. Some of these places should be shut down, but good people need jobs.

That thought is very easy to have because my experience has been great at all Publix stores, and they are branching out further north. I personally think they have better customer service than Wegmans and definitely have better fried chicken (Mardi Gras wings) and sandwiches than many grocery stores. What I like is their commitment to cleanliness and consistency across their chain. It reminds me of HEB in that you do not see employees just standing around. The people who work there are always busy but never so busy that they do not take the time to ask if you need help. There is no issue of trying to pretend they do not see customers or an issue of constantly on their phones.

After standing at the sandwich for 10 min while the person behind the counter was having a conversation with a management comparing note on who had the most memorable upbringing, I was finally acknowledged. The lady behind the counter asked " you want a sandwich "? Before I could reply the other person came back to ask another question about their previous conversation. At this point my child and I decided to leave. We exited receiving the same greeting as we entered,NONE. I will definitely continue to patronize Publix, however this was my first and last time going to this particular location.
