Another day, another road trip. I needed some snacks and drinks for the van and this Walmart fit the bill. I also needed a warm hat because it's 40 degrees outside today! Some parts of the store are quite picked over, especially in the men's wear department. Perhaps others had the same idea as me - a last minute warm outfit. After spending ten minutes wandering around the aisles on this side, I ended up over on the ladies wear and found the perfect black hat I needed and a pair of gloves. Yes, one-size-fits-all fit me okay. Bottle water was also looking pretty bad but the sliced meats and cheeses were in good shape. Other than the few things I did not find, the store was in good shape. It's tidy. There was no litter. The checkout was quick enough. This is my home walmart I'm in here a lot. On this particular trip I came to get a snack, a glass scrapper, and a car phone holder. All things easily found and the checkout process was smooth. So far I haven't had any issues at this location and hopefully that continues to be the case. read more

You have to be ready for long check-out lines at this Walmart Supercenter. Then be ready to deal with overstressed, underpaid and overworked checkout clerks and a pitch for some charity which donation, if you make one, may or may not end up actually helping a charity. Half of the auto registers are down when I come in and the staff is a coin toss of with whether you'll receive service... I didn't say good customer service... I literally said service. I needed assist with finding an aisle and a lady said, "sorry I don't know. Go ask someone at the register." SIS, YOUR WEARING A RADIO! Ask for goodness sake at least. Unfortunately, when in a rush, this Walmart is close so I tolerate them... but it doesn't mean they'll get a good review. I don't recommend this place. I was very surprised by this Walmart. It was cleaned and stocked nicely. Of course, all Walmart's have the bad rep about the lanes being open but they had more then I expected and the self checkout was open and moved rather quickly. I had to use the restroom and I was happy about the cleanliness and how well stoked things were. I even liked that the restroom has a sign with a number to text if the bathroom wasn't up to our standards. It was different and a nice touch. This place is dirty , the employees hardly wear masks they walk around and eat chips , no gloves , no masks ! Hard to find hand sanitizer in the store , bathrooms are absolutely disgusting . I hate that I have to give them a star! This is the worst place in SC (other than the sketchy WM on Forest.) If you order online, don't pick it up here. I walked to the counter buried in the back of the store. After what seemed like about six hours, i finally tracked someone down by walking in the back. They screwed up and couldn't find the item. We had to come back. What they lack in variety of items, they more than make up for it with lousy service. Expect poorly-lit aisles, discombobulated shelves, poor organization and filthy restrooms. Finish it off with Soviet Union-quality customer service. God help you if you have to ask for help finding something. The self-check should be faster than waiting for 45 minutes in line before you reach the apathetic checker who probably got fired from the DMV. It's not faster. If you get there, the machines will break and the teenage girl will be scrambling between six broken machines trying to fix them and showing the not-so-bright how to use them. She will still have to ring up half the purchases and you will have to pay her and the self check station. The final straw was when I came to the self check at 9:52 (they close the self check at 10pm) amd the two morons who 'work' at WM stopped gabbing just long enough to cut in front of me to shut off the stand even though I was balancing a bunch of items in my hand. This place sucks even by WM standards. I wasn't anti-Wal Mart before I went to this crap hole. In a few months, Kroger Marketplace is opening across the highway and hopefully this dump will either shut down or find a competent General Manager! Worst customer experience ever. Waited over an hour in line at the Auto Center with roughly 10 other people. There was only one lady running the front desk and apparently only one technician. They know Saturdays are their busiest days. So why the hell only have 2 people running the whole show!? I was told I would have a 5-6 HOUR wait for a damn oil change...Uhm hell no. read more

Don't attempt to call them for help with anything. Tried to schedule service on my car and Noone picked up. Went to the actual center and watched them ignore the phone while I called. Went inside and the service lady said the customer she had was the last one of the day. Spent hours scared to drive my car calling them. No answer. Managed to get there. No service. Great experience quick check out. Finally a Walmart with a friendly cashier. Clean, quiet and quick service.

This is for the automotive /quick lube 1)they do not stock Volkswagen filters, so they could not do an oil change. I did not think my 2012 jetta is that special (?) However I guess that applies to all walmarts now so call first. 2) they did not want to take anyone else after 4 pm. They are open until 6 on Sundays and they only had 1 car being serviced at 4 pm. I ended up leaving at 5 pm and the automotive people were literally standing around doing nothing and smoking. My advice, call first even if you're going to get there more than 2 hours before they close. Cashier at checkout was relatively rude despite my greeting to him and manners. Oh well. read more

Horrible staff. I asked for some general assistance (nothing specific, just asking where to find something) in the home improvement section and the worker in the section told me "I don't work in this section" and walked away. He then walked all over like he was avoiding me and acting like he was working. Very annoying. After walking around for 5-10 mins, I went to another section to find someone to page a worker to the home improvement section to help me. FYI I needed help finding a tarp. read more

This is one of the worst Walmarts I've been in. The store needs a new Manager, he/she is not doing the job there are paid for...the asles are poorly stocked !! It's Walmart, what do you expect. I've been to multiple Walmart locations from different States and customer service and restocked items have never been their strengths. So it's not just one Walmart location, in my experience it's multiple locations. Maybe there are other locations that are managed well. Restrooms? Forget it. Took my wife's truck in for an oil change. We called and they said it was $19.99. It was actually $29.99 and they did not top off any of the fluids and they marked on the ticket "declined vacuum of interior" and we were never asked. On top of that the person ringing us up was just generally not friendly in the least and we got to listen to someone in one of the bays yelling at another employee. Not real professional but hey, we weren't expecting the Royal Treatment, just do it for the price you say and do the services you are supposed to. read more

The automotive department in this store is horrible. Avoid this location! The cashier had six customers waiting and decided to just call on random people. People who had been waiting forever got serviced last. I waited two hours to get my car back because someone forgot to put my car in the line. This store appears to be a typical Walmart but with big morale issue. The "management" does not seem to hold everyone to the same level of accountability. The idea of keeping one person late as repercussion for the previous shifts shortfalls, demonstrates both a lack of ability to address the root cause of the problem and a severe shortcoming of management skills. Throughout the day, you can routinely see 3-5 people standing in one area all "stocking" from the same box, while others are actually working hard for the same pay. Continuously, salary employees are worked over 13 hours a day and time off taken away due to lack of problem solving and planning skills from the store management. Not to mention the lack of integrity that is demonstrated when they state to an employee that they will be on a set shift for 12 months and then 4 months later, store management starts the 12 month count down, and 18 months later that employee is still stuck on the same shift with no end in sight. Not a place that I would want friends or family to be employed at. Even some of my enemies deserve better than this. A quality assessment of the climate and culture that the current management has created needs to address before customer service continues to decline and unhappy employees move on to employee friendly environment. read more
