From the moment I walked in, there was no greeting or acknowledgment, despite her standing at the register without a customer. I politely asked if she could help me retrieve an item from a shelf, and she responded, "We'll be right with you." It took nearly 10 minutes before she finally came over, only to apologize and explain she had been closing out a register. When I showed her the item I was looking for, instead of assisting me, she simply pointed down an aisle and told me where it might be. Fortunately, a manager noticed I was still searching and personally helped me locate the product. When I went to check out, Esmeralda was the only cashier available. After placing my items on the counter, she asked if I wanted a shopping cart. I said yes and asked where they were located. She told me they were outside. While she was ringing up my purchase, I stepped outside to grab a cart and returned. At that point, she informed me that she needed to ring up the entire order again and began asking me how many of each item I had already placed on the counter. Confused, I simply looked at her. She then asked, "You can't speak?" I replied that she seemed unable to do her job and told her that the customer service had been poor from the moment I walked into the store. Instead of attempting to resolve the situation, she stopped helping me altogether, began assisting other customers, and stated that she was no longer going to ring up my purchase. I requested to speak with a manager. She said "okay" but never called one. This interaction was unprofessional, dismissive, and completely avoidable. Customer service starts with basic courtesy and a willingness to help. BevMo should invest in employees who genuinely want to assist customers and represent the company professionally. Ended up, leaving without even making a purchase.

She wanted my husband's ID, and he politely asked her, "why, 2 weeks ago he wasn't asked," as he was handing her his ID, she scanned it and the way she spoke about needing to make sure his ID was valid, she was so RUDE, and I told her, "YOU HAVE A BAD ATTITUDE!" She didn't care. Attention BevMo Managers: Your clerks are representing your company, and they should be capable of providing Excellent Customer Service to ALL guests. I get it, we all have bad days, but I felt her bad vibes from the moment we walked up by her body language and facial expressions. Not a good look for a one stop shop.

There's a lot of really dirty bottles in the fridge. I pulled a Knee Deep out and looked at the date. It said 2015. I thought maybe it was so dirty I wasn't reading it right. Pulled out another one. 2015. Pulled out some other bottles. More from 2015 and 2016. We're in 2025. This is not a typo or a gag. He's selling beers from 2015. And he's selling this at full price. 7 bucks a pop. IPAs have a shelf life. Imagine getting a bottle of Knee Deep Citra home that you paid 7 bucks for and getting the tasteless, flat, bad water you're going to have with a ten year old bottle of beer. Kept looking. Found one 4 pack that was from May of this year - that was it. That was the only one I could find of the beers I looked at that was semi-recent. Some of the stuff had no date - knowing they sell decade old beer I would not buy any of it. Then I found one four pack that was from 2014. 2014. Eleven years ago. This is not a typo. He sells beer from 2014 in 2025 as fresh, full priced beer. IPAs. Never again. This is a place called "BOTTLES" who's main deal is his craft beer. And he's selling decade old beer at full price (shouldn't be selling decade old beer at any price). I used to be a big fan of this place - now I just want to warn people - if you go here for beer - look at the dates. And if you get a chance, sort the reviews here on yelp for Bottles by stars and look at the other one star reviews. All the one star reviews are the same as mine - complaining about old beer. But these are all from 2019 and before. So this guy was doing it back then - and the beers I'm seeing here today are probably the same beers these people back in 2019, 2018, 2017 were complaining about - still in the freezer. I give Bevmo crap for selling year old beer. Imagine selling 11 year old beer at full price. Unethical and incredibly bad business. Never again.

In term of food options, there was a single food truck parked outside on the day that we stopped by. That said, they do allow outside food. Sean and the whole staff were very generous hosts, and all of our guests remarked on how down to earth they were. They took great care of our party and we had the best time. Their logo on their sign is a dog drinking from wine glass. Yes, they are a dog friendly shop and several customers had their dogs including our friend. Their wine offerings consist of international wines and wines from local small wineries. They also had two craft beers and some light bites. The wine pourer was helpful and answered questions about the wines and gave samples for you to try before ordering. We also ordered marinated olives and Marcona almonds to have with our drinks. Nice place to relax and to have a glass of wine, beer or non-alcoholic offerings where you an bring man's best friend.
