A Magical Experience at Jaybird Hammock Farm! My friends and I had the pleasure of attending a Moonlight Sound Bath Meditation at Jaybird Hammock Farm, and it was nothing short of incredible! Nestled in the serene beauty of Fernandina Beach, the experience was a perfect escape from our hectic week. The setting was enchanting, with hammocks gently swaying between the trees and the soft sounds of nature surrounding us. The meditation itself, led by a skilled guide, incorporated soothing vibrations from chimes and crystal bowls, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in relaxation. We felt an immediate sense of peace as we melted into the moment, reconnecting with ourselves and each other under the twinkling stars. The experience was made even sweeter with delightful treats--champagne and non-alcoholic strawberry champagne (which we absolutely loved!), fresh strawberries, and roasted marshmallows. Absolutely fabulous gem hidden in Fernandina Beach! I did the nature walk with goats on a beautiful spring Sunday morning. The goats are lively and fun, and the nature trails are beautiful. There are two gorgeous ponds, complete with lily pads, ducks and geese. Chickens and turkeys roam freely, and Tina, the hostess, even had fresh eggs available for sale. Halfway through the adventure, you come into a pine forest with hammocks hanging from the trees. You can relax in a hammock while the goats forage around you... or, if you're feeling even more adventurous, you might get one to hop on your back, yoga style! The walk back to the barn might also involve feeding the donkeys and mule some carrots. A beautiful piece of north Florida nature and a very gracious host. And, of course, the goats were fun and adorable. Highly recommend for a nice weekend outside with family and friends. ​ read more

If this isn't on your bucket list, I highly recommend trying it. Ms. Tina Jerkins was an absolute delight, with her warm and welcoming personality and sharing a glimpse into the history of the Jaybird Hommock Farm. The goats were incredibly friendly, and our yoga instructor was incredibly patient with us. While we did participate in some yoga, the majority of the class's attention was on our adorable four-legged yoga companions who roamed freely around us. Afterward, we were even invited to join them for a leisurely stroll around their pond. The property was meticulously maintained, offering serene views. We also had the pleasure of encountering other animals on the property, including horses and their magnificent turkey. This would be an ideal girls' outing or even a fun outing for families with children. read more

I have been otherwise incapacitated for The last 4 years and have been unable to really celebrate my birthday. This year was my first year home with my family and my sister chose to take me here for the nature walk because I love goats and she wanted to make it special. No matter who you are or where you've been sometimes you just need to be. And that's what you can do here. The herd is full of goofy little characters and the atmosphere is calming and peaceful. It is a welcoming environment good for all ages in my opinion. We will absolutely be back. 100% recommend. It will restore your soul. An amazing reset button. read more

My second time visiting (last time for the moonlight meditation also phenomenal). The staff always sets these events up to be memorable and fun. I came solo and had just as much fun as the friend groups. The goats are super sweet and entertaining the whole way thru. I didn't know what to expect before arriving but left feeling relaxed and happy so all goals for the day achieved. Such a unique and peaceful experience. The sound bath at Jaybird Hammock Farm was exactly what I didn't know I needed. Relaxing in hammocks under the pines while listening to crystal bowls was incredibly calming, and the whole atmosphere felt so grounding. Goat walk was a real trip to peace and tranquility with wonderful sweet friendly goats, donkeys, chickens, turkeys, ducks, and other critters. The farm trails, ponds, animals and family that has owned it for 4 generations is a place you could really get back to nature. I wasn't sure what to expect but I really enjoyed my forest sound meditation and sound bath. It was a first for me. It was a lovely evening and everything was prepared for participants to relax and e joy the experience. The natural beauty of the setting really makes it. We were led step by step. My wife and I loved spending time at Jaybird Hammock with Tina, the goat herd and the other animals. It is just a great way to spend an hour or so, get out into the outdoors, get close to nature and have a little more appreciation for where our food comes from.
