Be careful of their membership policies…read more I understand that contracts and policies exist, and I don't blame the employees, but Crunch Fitness as a company has been incredibly disappointing. I'm currently unemployed with a child, so I tried to pause my membership because I simply can't make it to the gym right now. Even though I haven't been able to use the gym, I'm still expected to pay an annual fee I genuinely cannot afford. When I decided to cancel instead, I was told I'd still have to pay for another month because of a 30-day notice policy. I don't understand why a gym that is already overcrowded needs 30 days notice for someone to stop using it. I even tried downgrading my membership to make the next payment cheaper, but there's a fee for that too. Maybe all of this was buried somewhere in the contract, but these policies feel extremely predatory, especially with how hard things are financially for so many people right now. And before they respond, please reach out to us directly I did. I wish I looked online before joining.

This is a place where, in my experience, you either feel like you belong or you don't. There were times I felt judged, uncomfortable, and honestly more bullied than supported. The membership situation was the final straw. I completed the 3-month agreement I signed up for and immediately told him I did not want to continue. I wasn't trying to cancel early or get out of anything. The 30-day cancellation policy came up when we discussed going month-to-month AFTER my original 3 months. He now insists everything was made clear, but if I'm being charged a fourth payment on something sold to me as a 3-month agreement, clearly there was a lack of clarity somewhere. What made it worse was the way the owner spoke to me when I questioned it. I found his responses extremely disrespectful and condescending. Apparently, asking a reasonable question about my own account warranted being reminded about the discount I received and bringing my mom into the conversation because her card was on file. At some point, you'd think the business would speak to the actual member instead of the cardholder. I supported this business, paid my membership, and came back after years away. I didn't expect special treatment, but I did expect basic respect. Unfortunately, the way this was handled made it very clear that once you're no longer a paying member, the relationship seems to matter a lot less. Definitely not the way I expected things to end.

The instructors are super sweet and their playlists are so great that I start lip syncing to it to distract me from the actual workout. The class is 45 minutes long. After my first class, I couldn't laugh, sneeze, or even get out of bed/chair without feeling my abs for three days. It was worth it, so don't let me discourage you. I discovered a new kind of workout and it's a lot more enjoyable. I am very happy that I gave this a chance and now I go nearly everyday. So trust me, it gets better. I've taken classes with almost every instructor and they're all amazing. If it's your first time, definitely let them know. They'll help you get familiar with the Megaformer. I'm so glad Fairfield has this gem.

The Reform Room app made everything super convenient--it eliminates the pressure or pushiness of memberships that other gyms or studios often have. They offer a great first-time special: $35 for 2 classes, which is perfect if you're just trying it out. From the app, you can purchase more class packs, individual classes, book the sauna, and easily schedule classes up to two weeks in advance. The entrance was a little tricky to find, but it's along the main road, and the door is right in between Lipstick Lounge and Caritas Spa. There are a few parking spots right by the entrance, but there's also a large lot in the back. Everything was super clean and brand new! They sell the cutest grip socks, and I had to stop myself from buying all of them! I met the instructors Colbly, Jasmine, Maddie, Jazmine, Alyssa, and Princess, and they're all so warm and welcoming. They make you feel comfortable during class, which I loved. I LOVED the music--my instructor played Bad Bunny, which is my favorite artist to work out to!! After taking about 10 classes now, my suggestion is that class difficulty level should be visible when booking on the app. There's no way to know which class is for beginners or for more advanced, and I think it would be helpful for everyone :) I can't wait to make this part of my weekly workout routine and take every instructor's class. 10/10--great vibes all around!!

He has early morning classes and evening classes to fit your schedule as well as personal training one on one sessions. Personally I have noticed my energy levels are up, I'm sleeping better, being a lot more mindful of my diet and I noticed I am physically stronger as well. It doesn't matter if you're a fitness veteran or just starting out, the classes are a go-at-your-own-pace style, do as much as you can in a certain amount of time.
