This business was the single worst business I have EVER dealt with! They damaged my 1953 Ford Victoria Crestline on ALL 4 SIDES! When I called to see what the process was to file a loss with their insurance the man answering the phone identified himself as the owner "Jay". Just a few minuets into the conversation... He started YELLING at me because he said "the car was perfect condition when they dropped it off". I was not home when they dropped it off (Because they were 2 days late according to the schedule they set!!! Consequently I could not inspect it for damage or sign any paperwork. Well from there it did not go well but I assured him I was not just going away and "something" had to be done to repair my car. The next day he called me back and pretended to be an "inspector for the insurance company!!!" I know... laughable... right?!!! Here is how the conversation went word for word... I Said " Hey I spoke to you yesterday... I recognize your voice" (He has a very strong accent which is very easy to recognize.) His answer was (Getting louder) "Sir I have never spoken to you yesterday" Me: Yeah... you did? What is your name please? Him: You do not get my name! Me: Wait what? You work for the insurance company as an "fraud inspector" and you won't give me your name? (Apparently he just got promoted to a FRAUD INSPECTOR now???!!!him: OK fine... Paul... my name is Paul. Paul what? Shut up! you do not get my last name!!! Now he is yelling at me... like I was being interrogated! You will go to Jail for scamming the insurance company! I will see to it!! Wait PAUL now you are accusing me of scamming the insurance company??? YES!!! Hang on Paul... we have not discussed any of the particulars of the damage on my car or anything else for that matter but you have come to the conclusion I am scamming the insurance company and I must go to Jail??? (Seriously... you just can't make this stuff up!!! Yes!!! I personally will see to it!!! Hey Paul... can I have the case number for the claim? YOU MAY NOT!!! Why Paul? Because you will not need it in JAIL!!! This went on for 20 minuets!!! I kid you not... He screamed at me for 18 of those! End result... Hagerty Insurance stepped up to the plate and covered the repairs. My advice... NEVER USE THIS COMPANY... EVER!!! AND...DO NOT EVER DEAL WITH PAUL!!! LOL Oh yeah they tried to raise the price when my car was in the driveway by $250.00 to boot! read more

Jay is a man of his word. If you want someone to be honest with you from the moment you call, he is your guy. If you are looking for the cheapest way to get your vehicle across the country, do not call Jay. He will tell you from the beginning the steps that need to be taken, and send you a form that has ALL OF THE INFO, so read it! In my situation, I needed a car to go 3200 miles in an enclosed carrier. I paid $100 for the reassurance that my vehicle would make it safely, and 6 days later it made it here. I received 200+ pictures from the shipper and was notified when it was to arrive (and they made it early). I had a difficult situation with the seller's availability and Jay made it a point to find a shipper that would honor his schedule and for that, we are both happy. I will use Jay again for the next vehicle move, and I will give him adequate time and information to find me the best shipping company at the best rate. read more

I called Jay on the 21st of December. I told him my car will be ready to go starting on the 26th (Virginia to Los Angeles - all the way across country). Jay warned me that most of the trucking industry is on vacation for the holidays. He said "if there is a truck running - I will find it". Point here... he didn't over promise.... but he did deliver! My experience with Jay was a very negative one. I attempted to book him and after 2 price changes I said ok lets do it. My price bumped up from $450 to $750 ($300?? really?). Then when we proceeded to book he became very demanding with me and almost restrictive. I cancelled on him and went with another company and now he doesnt stop harassing me. read more
