This was by far the worst experience I've ever had with a company. I called to confirm details about my move and was completely shut down. The person I spoke with ( Joe? Jay?) was extremely rude, dismissive, and told me they couldn't accommodate my scheduled time because they had another move ahead of mine. I explained I had options for a walk-through but needed to know as I'd have to take off work. Instead of trying to work with me (after I had already paid), I was told to "look elsewhere." When I explained that I couldn't make changes in the app, he brushed me off and said he would just cancel on his own. The disrespect and lack of professionalism were unbelievable. Absolutely disgusting behavior and a complete joke of a so-called "business." Save yourself the stress and go with a company that actually values its customers. read more

Jesus, Jaime, and Nicholas were awesome. They were super friendly and polite, but also very very fast and efficient. By far the best moving service I have ever used during the past 7 years of living in the city. Their pricing is fair and transparent, they are quick to provide a quote and schedule your move, and they are some of the best people to hire. 10/10 would recommend, and they definitely are going to be my moving service for any future moves. Our movers showed up and got to work extremely fast. We first did a quick run through if the rooms with boxes and furniture to be moved and they managed the process from there with in incredible efficiency and care. I felt so comfortable that I took off to run errands while they worked and came back to a nearly finished job. I was assisted by the crew of Manual, Juan, and Andy to move this weekend in SF. Man, these three guys were great! They were prompt during their arrival, carefully handled my stuff and were very organized and efficient. We moved from a one bedroom to a two bedroom, unfortunately our new building didn't have an elevator so I felt bad that they had to haul all of our stuff up to the 2nd floor, but they did a great job. Given that the movers had already damaged my property by sliding a bookshelf on top of a mattress, leaving tears and splinters imbedded in my mattress, I gave direction when they anticipated sliding a light grey couch on its backside in the bed of a truck. Once direction was given a mover made excuses for his actions and threatened to hit me before walking off leaving me and his coworker to load the couch myself. read more

Jay's Moving Service is a business I found from an ad on Craigslist in the labor/moving section when I was looking to find someone help me with a move. This is not the first time I have used Craigslist to find people with vans or trucks to help me move- most of them are flakes, or weird or just down right untrustworthy. But Jay's Moving Service was Great! Arrived right on time, we discussed the rate prior to meeting on the phone and it remained the same at the end of the job. Jay was professional and hard working. What made him stand out the most was there was a problem with my couch fitting up the small staircase to my third floor apartment- I didn't know what to do, for a minute I thought I'd have to leave it on the curb, but Jay didn't give up so easily and got my couch all the way up! I don't think most movers would have made quite the effort. I will defiantly be calling Jay's moving service again in the future! read more

I needed to move quickly. Used them to move on 01/30/12. They were running late but did call me twice to let me know, and they thanked me for being so flexible I really appreciated that. The moving team arrived, and the move was easy. My only small little issue I had was the total load in and load out time was less than the minimum hours and I knew they were going to charge me for 1 1/2 hours. But how nice it would have been ( since I was being flexible) if they would have charged me less. I should have asked. Any who...I will use them again and will recommend them to my friends, family, associates etc. etc. read more
