In the 2012 holiday season, I was about to go on a trip from my parents' place in Florida to the Dominican Republic, but I realized about 24 hours before my flight that I had left my passport at home in Berkeley. I found Henry online. He picked up my passport from my apartment after I alerted my landlady, and sent it from OAK airport by air freight (in the cargo hold of a regular passenger flight), so that it arrived at the freight services center at the Miami airport a few hours before my outgoing flight. There is a reason for all the 5 star ratings. I needed help transporting 2 pallets of heavy tiles (2K lbs each) from a tile store within my city to my home. I first called another courier company and they told me they only do commercial delivery and after listening to what I needed, they told me I would have a hard time finding someone to help with such a "small" job and if I did find someone that is willing, the charge would probably be "8x more than the cost of my tiles". Well, my next call was to Henry and not only did he say yes to the job right away, the tiles were delivered to my home within a few hours! The price was very reasonable and it did not even come close to the "8x more than the cost of my tiles" as predicted by that other company. I was the very first to ever review this business years ago and I did not hesitate to give them 5 stars then because I was so blown away by the prompt and efficient way they handled my delivery. After using them regularly for delivery and courier jobs big and small all these years, I have to say that they deserve another pat on the back for the outstanding way they do business. I left some important business contract papers in a hotel room in Lake Tahoe that had to be back in San Francisco by morning and out of sheer desperation, I called Henry at 1 am and he answered and immediately sent one of his boys up there at 2 am to retrieve the package and deliver it to me by 8 am. It cost me a few hundred bucks but I stood to lose tens of thousands more had they refused to accept the job. Henry is amazing. We called asking if he could take a package from downtown Oakland to Walnut Creek immediately (as in it had to arrive within a little over an hour). He said no problem. Then we said that the package was a seagull with a broken wing in an open box that needed to be taken to a wildlife rehabilitation hospital, fully expecting him to hang up on us. Instead, he said no problem--he'd have a driver here in 10 minutes. The injured seagull had been pacing outside our office for hours and we finally found a place that could take him, but none of us had a car. Not only did Henry take the bird for us, he called to let us know it had been delivered and the hospital staff were caring for him.
