This review is based solely on my experience with the staff during my visit today…read more I've shopped at Pink Box multiple times in the past and have never had any issues, which is why this experience was disappointing. My mom and I stopped in because she was looking for earrings. She had mentioned before that Pink Box has cute selections at reasonable prices, so we decided to browse. While she was looking at earrings and pointing out styles she liked, I was helping her look through them. For context, I don't even wear earrings since I have large gauges, so I wasn't shopping for myself in that section. Afterward, I moved over to the claw clips and was looking through some butterfly clips to see if they came in matching colors. A sales associate approached us and asked if we needed help. We politely said no thank you and continued browsing. What made us uncomfortable was that after that interaction, the employee remained very close to us and appeared to be watching us the entire time. When we moved to a different area, she followed. Whether intentional or not, it felt as though we were being monitored because she suspected we might steal something. My mom and I both noticed it, and it made the shopping experience uncomfortable. We are paying customers who have visited this store before and have never given anyone a reason to be suspicious of us. I understand that retail employees have a job to do, but there is a difference between being attentive and making customers feel like they're under surveillance. Unfortunately, because of that experience, we didn't feel welcome during our visit.

They replaced my iPhone camera lens cover on the spot. It's a little pricey but great when I don't want to wait for something in the mail). They also have a "warranty" and put my number in the system. When my lens broke a few months later, I returned to find there was a $10 fee that I was not told about nor expecting. Their card machines were somehow not accepting tap at the moment and required a card scan (I didn't have on me). So no new lens. I went home and found a spare to save the day anyways.

I brought my iPad to the Don Quijote location on the same day I inquired about screen repair. I arrived to the location at around 12:30pm (time stamp in image.) I spoke to two employees. I talked to one employee that took a look at my iPad and confirmed the price and time to pick up (2 hours). I also confirmed again with the guy who managed the payment that it would take two hours. I show up around 4:45pm and no one greets me walking in. So I walk up (five minutes later) to the first employee and asked if the tablet is ready. She told me, "Oh you're early, I just have to put on the screen." It had been 2+ hours since I dropped off so I was confused but I said I will wait till they are done. I came back around 50 minutes later and the repair is not done yet. At this point it is already 5:45pm and it has not been finished. I wait until 6:18pm and she hands me it without apologizing for the wait or anything. I regret not saying anything about the time issue but it feels conflicting because of all the things I signed and I am not sure if I am in right to. The problem is not how long it takes, but it was the misinformation about when pick up would be. I confirmed with two people that it would be ready in two hours. It came out to almost 6 hours. I would not have minded dropping it off and coming back another time, if they had communicated that. But I was told it was 2 hours so I waited there, standing in the store and not wanting to rush the employees. The repair itself is excellent but the customer service was conflicting. I paid $329.84 and expected quality care. I do wish I had a better experience because it seems others do.

They sell many cell phone accessories, as well as cell phone cases and cell phones. They also specialize in pre-paid phone cards to call internationally. The owner of the store, Calvin was present. He is a wonderful, friendly, and very helpful business person. Very courteous to his customers and accommodates the Korean speaking community customers too. If you are ever in need of cell phones, cell phone accessories, and/or pre-paid phone cards, go to Wireless City in the Kaheka Palama Market. You'll have a great experience there.

The young person with short hair who helped me. I was so impressed because she brought out one of those black velvet tray like I was trying out a million dollar jewelry. She carefully put on the case on iPhone and showed it to us. I also bought a screen protector which they have many varieties and samples so you can see. She also put it on right there under her bright lamp and saw her using a small blower to get all the lint out. I'm pretty particular about the screen protector because people do a half bottom job usually so I end up redoing it at home. But darling she did a fine job. So I purchased a glass screen protector and she also stated she'd put it on for me! Talk about amazing customer service! It's such a hassle to put on screen protectors but she took her time and did an awesome job!! Order new part to see if that would fix the problem, if it didn't fix the problem, NO CHARGE TO US! 2. I explained to him we were up for trade in with phone carrier and my initial thoughts were to trade it it. He treated me like he would for his family and gave me honest advice without the fear of customer coming back and saying "K" said this or that. He genuinely wanted to help me out!!! 3. If we decided to order the part, he provided me with the time frame. I called TCA wireless repair, all they want to do is get you into their store for them to check out my phone. I already told them when the problem was over the phone and I was merely calling for advice. She proceeded to tell me that when I bring it in, they will do a diagnostic. When I hear diagnostic I ALWAYS ask is it free? I've taken my phones in to repair shops numerous times and they always give advice or recommendation for free. Then you decide do I spend the money or not. K gave me FREE professional advice and he was very polite, excusing himself for taking up my time! I was the one who called him and was asking all the questions but he kindly was apologetic about the time he took to thoroughly explain to me my options. No apologies even necessary!!! In Hawaii, excellent customer service is rare now a days. I just want to be treated as if I was their loved one and how they want their loved one to be treated too!
