This place is as good as it gets. I'm no pro, but I've been to a few boxing gyms (and dozens of…read morefitness studios), and I've never seen a place that matches Straightright in quality of workout, instructors, price, and general vibe. Here's why: Environment: As someone who was fairly new to boxing, going to a non-chain gym was a little intimidating. Even walking in was a little scary! But that feeling didn't last long - within minutes of me walking in I was being helped by instructors and students alike with my wrapping. These are definitely some of the friendliest and most welcoming people I know. Just downright nice people! Quality of workout: Throughout the class (Total Body Fitness) I felt like I was getting personal attention and that - most of all - I was learning how to box safely and with the right technique. The class was also HARD!!!! I am someone who likes fairly intense workouts, and this one left me out of breath and excited to come back. I also love that the gym offers an introductory boxing class for newbies so we can learn the proper form and technique. Price: After attending the first introductory class, I think you get 1-2 classes free. At this point, I've been to 3 total body fitness classes and definitely will be coming back every time I am in town. All in all - I'm sad that I moved to Dallas because now I have to find a place as good as this one! Happy my in-laws live in Little Rock so I have an excuse to come back and box here :).

I maintain a monthly membership at my home studio and make it a point to visit other locations when I travel. In almost every city, I've experienced the integrity, kindness, and professionalism that have made Pure Barre a community I truly value. That's why my experience with the Little Rock studio was so jarring and stayed with me. Because of my ADHD and the way I travel, at one point I mistakenly signed up for pure barre monthly memberships in several cities where I don't live (Austin, Oklahoma City, Santa Monica, New York City, Boulder). Every other studio responded with understanding and integrity, immediately correcting the mistake and, in some cases, showing me firsthand how simple it was not to keep charging a client who clearly didn't reside there. But in Little Rock, the owner, unlike the thoughtful women who run the other studios, insisted on continuing to charge me. This was not just a clerical oversight. It was dishonest and exploitative. When a business chooses profit over basic decency, the breach lingers. And this one has. I continue to value Pure Barre as a company and community, but Little Rock stands out as a troubling exception. Allowing such practices to continue damages the brand as a whole.

Jazzercise today was no exception to the fun. My initial impression when I thought of attending Jazzercise was leotards, tights and really bad music. I was totally blown away by what I experienced this morning. Vicky, our instructor, was enthusiastic, but not too over-blown for early in the morning. She could simultaneously give three levels of impact for the workout, tips on what NOT to do and ask Jennifer how her summer camp was last week, all during one three minute song. And speaking of the music...Lady Gaga, J-Lo, Timbalake and more. I haven't really moved my hiney for some time and was terrified that 1) I'd get confused by the steps, 2) the women there would be mean and competitive and 3) I would just hate it. Since I started this review, I decided to purchase a membership...I got half off the joining fee because of a special they had and the women were good about telling me which plan made the most sense. I'm on week 2 and enjoying it just as much now as I was last week...37 minutes of aerobics today... They have a variety of classes and childcare for at least one of them daily.

The classes are at convent times and the teachers have been so helpful and good at instructing. Jess' classes are my favorite. 2. Big- lots of cardio lots of weights and lots of space to do my own calisthenics. And the equipment is all pretty new and nice. The locker rooms are huge with showers and have a private entrance to the women's workout room 3. Kids club. Their kids club staff are super sweet girls and they have a little movie theater and computer games. And it's one $10/month extra 4. Price. It's $20/ month for their plan that includes classes tanning and I can bring a friend (but not to a class- I'll bring my BF while I'm at a class he works out elsewhere). 5. Location- I travel a lot between Conway and little rock and I find there is always a 10 fitness near by. Even if I want to spend my lunch hour in a massage chair listening to audiobooks. It's really convenient. Downside- they don't have a pool but I don't fee it's fair to compare them to gyms with a pool because those gyms cost much more. So for the price point of $20/month I feel they deserve 5 stars

I haven't set foot in that place in close to a year and I've been charged 4 times and threatened with fines and fees for canceling by the customer Service department and even after finally getting things canceled they still are charging me!!

Where do I even start. This place is my happy place. Everything about this studio makes me smile…read more The classes, the instructors, the members, the owners = an amazing place to work on your fitness goals. If you want an encouraging and judgement free place to improve your fitness, you found it. It's unlike any studio in LR. It's more than a spin class and more than boxing. So when I'm home for the holidays, I of course had to find a place to get my ride on. I found Clique Cycle after looking far and wide. Definitely think that Clique Cycle fills a niche in the LR fitness market, where boutique fitness hasn't quite hit its stride (yet). Their classes are hard, and if you're a beginner, I think it can be a little hard to follow since a lot of their moves take a lot of core and experience on the bike. However, they definitely emphasize taking things at your own pace, which I think is awesome. Definitely breathless and sweating every time, and their moves are fun and unique. A couple of cons. It can be hard to hear what the instructors are saying sometimes, and if you aren't familiar with their rotation of moves, it's easy to feel like you're always behind or off the beat. They also focus a lot on fast feet, and I think there could be more power songs incorporated for a more balanced ride. I think their arms song could be a bit more challenging as well. And I also wish they had SPD clips in addition to the Look Deltas they have. (No Tiems here!) The best thing about this place is definitely the community. You can definitely tell this place has a lot of regulars, and the instructors know a lot of riders by name. Definitely a great option if you're looking for a studio that is heavy on the choreo and has a club-style setup (less HIIT). They also have a separate flow class that's floor-based.

Access to the lower level weight room is a MUST if you plan of using free weights. They also have a great area down there for HIIT. They have some bumper plates and 2 deadlift platforms as well. The squat racks could use some improvement, but they do the job perfect as all squat racks do (that's just me being snotty). There's ample cardio equipment with a theatre room if you just can't stand zoning out on the gym floor. There's a Womens only room, if you're a female and possibly are a little bit nervous about being in the gym, or just don't want to feel the pressure of other people around the gym it's a good option. I haven't been in there but it looked like mostly machines at first glance. Lastly there's a room with 2 smith machines and a jungle gym. Pretty good stuff for some other HIIT options. Looks like the personal trainers have their own room to train people in. That's nice, as a old personal trainer myself, looks like you can really focus on the client that way. All and all I think it deserves 5 stars, it's clean, people are friendly, has everything you need for a fantastic workout. There is only one downside. I don't know if people here have ever Heard of gym etiquette, BUT it looks like they have no idea how to clean up after themselves or re rack their own weights. This is very confusing. There is straight up grown humans just leaving their stuff all over the place, as if they didn't have to pick it up to use it in the first place. Cmon people, clean up after yourselves. Seriously disturbing to watch adults just not give a crap about their gym, their sacred place, the place that makes their body stronger. I can only assume what your home looks like. OKAY- rant is over. This place is fantastic. Thank you guys.

This morning was the final straw. Raf had a client on the leg extension machine for about 15 minutes, then decided to take over the leg curl machine at the same time, setting up his tripod and claiming both pieces of equipment. When I asked politely if he was using it, he told me, "Yeah, you can't use it. You need to respect that I'm training here." That's not training -- that's arrogance and a lack of professionalism. No member should be told to "respect" a trainer's misuse of equipment. This kind of behavior makes the gym feel unwelcoming, especially when trainers are supposed to set the example. I spoke to the assistant manager, who admitted this was not standard practice and said he'd handle it -- but it's not the first time this has happened with this same trainer. If management doesn't step up and enforce basic gym etiquette, this place is going to lose good members.
